I got such a positive response from my two previous dress posts….
so when I was at the mall over the weekend, I decided to try to find some more
I thought you would like!
And since I LOVED most of them I put on, I thought I would just quickly share them with you today. I know that so many of you are still looking for dresses for events you have this spring and summer! Think graduations, wedding showers, baby showers, rehearsal dinners, and weddings.
And listen, a couple of them SCREAM “EASTER!”
If you missed my first two posts, here they are:
Maxi Dresses FOR THE WIN: You’re Guide to Looking Tall and Skinny
and
Spring Dresses Part Deux
If you need a dress for an upcoming event (or just a maxi for everyday wear), you need to be sure to check out the above two posts!
Okay, on to the new dresses!
Can you hear it? It’s screaming “Easter!”
THIS IS A GREAT DRESS! And it’s screaming “Easter!” too!
Do I even need to say it? That’s right, “EASTER!”
Also, in case you’re interested, I was wearing THESE large turquoise drop earrings
and THIS necklace.
So, those were all of my “extra” dresses I tried on this weekend!
Before we go today, I want to let you know that a reader e-mailed me to let me know that the Kut from the Kloth jacket she ordered from Macy’s is in fact the same as the Nordstrom MUST HAVE from last year!
Here she is in the jacket that you can now find HERE.
Love how she styled it with the tank, maxi skirt, and MUST HAVE wedges!
Thanks for the e-mail and the picture April!!!
Here’s the jacket on me in several different looks found on the maxi dress post you can find HERE.
Khaki stripe maxi HERE!
Skirted maxi HERE.
Navy chevron maxi HERE.
Black t-shirt dress HERE.
I liked this grey chevron maxi dress HERE.
For size reference, I was wearing a small in the dress and the jacket.
(jacket HERE and the wedges HERE)
All right!
That’s it for today girls!
SEE? SHORT AND SWEET!

That graphic pattern is amazing. I love how the gradient goes from light on top to dark. You were made to wear short dresses!

I LOVE all of these dresses you have shared! So pretty! I love to wear sundresses all summer long – dress them up or down for the park or a night out. Have you found any casual sundresses? Would love your input! I have two maxis on their way to me along with these must-have wedges you keep going on about! HA! 🙂 I figured I have loved the items you have suggested, I should give those wedges a try. Thanks!

I have held out on the maxi dress thing until now. Being 5'2" I just thought I couldn't pull it off. Well…this weekend on my girls' trip I bought 2 gorgeous maxi dresses and one maxi skirt! My husband LOVES them! Then, this morning, my dental hygienist asked, "How much weight have you lost since your last visit?" SCORE!!!

Love the dresses! I think the graphic dress would look really cute with the must have jacket, too!

I too have avoided the maxi due to my height, or lack there of. But today I tried a maxi skirt and have gotten so many compliments and it has been super comfy to wear. Can't wait for your denim on denim post and can't help but wonder if it will include colored denim.

I bought the purple version of the Black lace dress that's sold out above. I'm wearing it to my brother's wedding this weekend. I'm hoping it's dressy enough! It is SO comfortable and will make chasing my children all night not so challenging.

The geometric dress is so cute! I tried it on here (also encouraged by a Nordstrom employee who said "everyone loves it!"). I'm tall and it was a little shorter than I prefer and I couldn't figure out if the cap sleeves were flattering for me so I didn't buy. But girl, it looks great on you!!

Love the dresses especially how the first one look on you. It's awesome:) <3

The denim jacket you linked to looks way different:( even the buttons are on the left, not the right so it must be a different jacket. And the cuffs look darker in the girls picture and in your pictures, which i like.
