Shopping with Sheaffer and Shay! November Edition!

You guys….it’s Friday….THANK HEAVENS!
This week really kicked my hiney.  Some weeks just do that, you know?
So, I want to apologize if you sent in an e-mail or comment this week that didn’t get answered.  I got behind, and then I got overwhelmed, and then I just decided I would do better next week.  🙂
I’m looking forward to a little downtime with my people this weekend (with no real plans in sight), and I couldn’t be more excited!
(I do have some time ear marked for finishing up my Monday post that I’m super excited about!)

Before we get to Shopping with Sheaffer and Shay today,

Well, I’m not sure how in the world I missed THIS watch.

True to form, I’m sticking to Nordstrom today.
But don’t worry, I cleaned house too.

 Shay and I always have fun shopping together, and this night was no different.
Except that Shay bought a fur hooded vest and I almost had a heat stroke in  my new scarf (and Shay kept joking that I was maybe going through the change.)  She thinks she is so funny.  😉

 So……..
My game plan was to start at Nordstrom, head to LOFT, and then end the evening at GAP.
They are my 3 GO TO stores for sure.
Well, I spent 2 1/2 hours in Nordstrom and I never made it LOFT or GAP.
Figures.
 But that works out well for you ladies because of the free shipping at Nordstrom!
I’ve heard from a lot of you recently telling me you had NEVER shopped at Nordstrom before reading the blog, but that now you do all the time because of their AMAZING customer service (even with online orders) and their free shipping and free returns.
Nordstrom seriously wrote the book on customer service.
Anyway, I digress….
My first BIG find of the day I actually shared with you on Monday.

While in the pajama department, I saw this pajama set and had to try them on.
I think pajamas are such a FUN (but practical) gift to give, and these are so comfy!
I had seen them online and read the awesome reviews, so it was time to give them a shot,
and I loved them.
They are totally whimsical and seriously comfy so I thought they warranted a SANTA ALERT!

The reviews for PJ Salvage are wonderful.
I am wearing an x-small and they were perfect for me.
The small top was very wide and a little too boxy for my liking.
I’m 5’4″ and a size 4, so I usually take a small, so I guess you can say I sized down.
I obviously have on the mustache set, but I also love the pink polka dots, the birds, and the lips!

If you don’t like the choices from PJ Salvage, then I’m sure you can find a pattern you can like from Munki Munki HERE.

I really liked this Caslon military jacket HERE (that comes in both army green and black).
Keep in mind that due to the material, it’s really more of an outside jacket than one you would wear all day.  But, if you’re looking for real outerwear, this is a great choice!

Once again, if I would have just seen this on the website, I would never have ordered it. It just looks kind of blah and just hangs on the model.  However, when I put it on, I LOVED IT.
  I thought it was very flattering and just had this casual (yet totally cool) look about it.
Do you guys LOVE it as much as I do?!?
Because I really REALLY love it!!!!

Do you remember when I talked about these cords several weeks ago?
I hadn’t tried them on when I talked about them before, I was just going off of reader e-mails I had received.  They all loved them so much that I suspected I would love them too, and MAN WAS I RIGHT.  These cords are AMAZING.
Soooo soft….Sooooo stretch….Sooooo flattering.
And just like the graphic says, they are definitely skinny enough to tuck into tall boots (like I did in the above picture) but they would also be great worn straight or cuffed with flats, heels, or wedges!
They come in like 76 colors (some people say I tend to exagerate), and you need them in your life!

Isn’t the bag fabulous?  I love the structure and size of it, and the inside lining is white with black polka dots!  SO cute!

I also found 2 pictures on my phone from a previous shopping trip that somehow never made it to the blog.

You guys are going crazy over the nice sweatshirts out there right now,
and I found another one I loved.
It’s
a pretty pale pink color, it’s higher in the front than in the back,
and it has a really pretty bow and pleat detail on the back.

I spotted this black and white striped number across the store, and I ran to it.

I walked very briskly because it was just hanging by itself and WHAT IF
somebody got over to try it on before I did.  (I wish I was making this
up.  But I’m not.  Welcome to my brain.)

I featured this Free People tunic a couple of weeks ago.
HOWEVER, now that so many of us have the HUE leggings, I thought it was worth showing again.

This top is very sheer, so you would definitely have to wear a tank under it.
The design is awesome, and I love the stripes down the side.
