PINK and CORAL….and the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale :)

You get a 2 for 1 today.
An outfit post AND some more Anniversary Sale picks.  Because I can’t stop.  The sale is just too dang good.

First up, the outfit. 
I saw this color combo on Pinterest and loved it.

I was totally drawn to the pink, coral, and golden tones together!


I was in my closet for all of about 30 seconds when I pulled this outfit together.
Here’s how I did it:
pink necklace (it’s really “magenta”), pink sweater, coral v-neck, gold disc necklace

Okay so that’s the outfit recreation.  I loved the color combo and will definitely wear it again.

Now on to the Anniversary Sale.  It’s still early access, which means you can only shop if you’re a cardholder, but the sale will go live to everybody this coming Friday (the 18th), so just be ready to GO Friday morning!  You should already know what you want by the time Friday morning rolls around, so all you have to do on Friday is just throw things in your cart and click “submit”!

 I shared LOTS of my favorite finds so far on Friday (see that post HERE if you missed it).
However, I couldn’t post everything on one day, so I will be continuing to share some of my finds throughout the next couple of weeks.
And the great thing about Nordstrom…since they have free shipping and free returns…you don’t get any sort of ding for multiple orders.  In fact, I may have placed 2 separate orders on Saturday myself.  Allegedly.  
Okay, I did.
I found THIS jacket in the morning (blush pink AND TWEED! and UNDER $40!)  and ordered it.  It is Junior’s sizing, so keep that in mind. And then when looking online with my cousin, I found THIS jacket (if I love this blanket stripe toggle coat even 1/2 as much as I think I’m going to, I’ll be in good shape – $41.90 / After Sale $64)) and THESE lip glosses ($50 for the set of 5).
 I just couldn’t help myself.
(And if you don’t know this about Nordstrom, they make returns SOOOOO easy.  Your shipped order comes with a return shipping label just in case you want to return your item.  You just throw the item(s) back into the box they were shipped in, slap the label on the box, and you’re done. 
 Seriously, it’s THAT easy.)

This top comes in several different color combos, and you can get 2 for $60 (regularly $48 each).
They don’t look like they are in the Anniversary Sale when you look online, but they were in the anniversary sale tents in the store, so I’m guessing the prices will go up after the sale.
I loved them with my jeans below, but they would also look great with shorts and sandals, or dressed up with suit pants and heels!
They are very flattering and hide a multitude of sins!  ALWAYS a good thing.
For size reference, I was wearing an x-small, so I suggest you size down unless you are looking for a very generous fit.

Absolutely loved THESE rings from Kate Spade.

They were big and chunky and DARLING.  I liked all 3 colors available.
(FYI:  I talked about THESE earrings last week, but when I saw them in person I was disappointed.  They were pretty, but much smaller than the regular Kate Spade studs we all love.  But if you like a small earring, you will love them.)

(To be honest, the dressing room was SUPER hot and I was about to pass out when trying on these jackets.  I think I would have freaked had I looked at the price tag.)

I think it will look best on somebody with a very slender body type (JUST LOOK HOW CUTE IT IS ON THE MODEL!).  For size reference, I was wearing a small.

Oh…and then there’s this…I posted it on facebook last night.
Several ladies brought to my attention that the blardigans they ordered are on backorder (just until the end of this month, but still)!  It kind of made me nervous that they really might sell out before the sale is actually over. I called to inquire about the stock, and I was unable to get any information.
So, just FYI.  Blardigans seem to be in high demand!

UPDATE:
Late last night I opened an e-mail that said the following:
I’m sad to report the Blardigan has sold out in small/medium in all
colors. I waited too long to get one and saw your post a few hours ago
and quickly added it to my cart and thought I had purchased it (back
ordered until 7/25). Shortly after I received an email from Nordstrom
that they cancelled that item because it is out of stock. I called them,
and the sweet representative said even though it says back ordered
until 7/25 they are currently sold out in S/M in all colors. : ( 
She did
say they may re-stock on the 18th and to keep checking back every day.

    I had that moto jacket in my cart Thursday! So sad I didn't get it then…it's no longer available. It says it has a ship date of 7/29 but bumps it out of my cart when I go check out. BOOOOOO!!! Maybe it's a sign… two huge orders is enough!!

    I completely agree with you in the Kate Spade earrings. I went to check out the sale ones and they were just "eh", so I ended paying full price for the fun chunky square studs in green! Oh my! I think I might wear them everyday forever and ever. Amen.

    If the blardigan doesn't get re-stocked, I might flip out. I was planning on buying 8 of them to cover all of the women in my family! My mom, my aunt, my MIL, my 2 sisters, my 2 sister-in-laws and of course another 1 for me! I had planned on this being like the easiest Christmas ever. Hope Nordstrom doesn't let me down!

    Ok, I finally did it. I went back and forth about this damn blardigan. Do I need it? Will I wear it? The answer was always an yes, so I bought the Marine/Pewter combo since it's all they had left in my size. I can't wait to get it.

    I just received my blardigan today and it is the softest thing ever. I don't know why I waited so long. I want to sleep with it and use it as a pillow and blanket. I am glad it is somewhat cold in my house because of the air conditioning so I can wear it now. I love all of your Nordstrom finds. I bought a faux leather coat last year during the anniversary sale but returned it. I can't stop thinking about ordering the moto jacket one now…I am sure I will cave in. I've already placed 2 orders during the sale!

      Hi there! YESSSSSSSSSSSS! It is PERFECT for air travel. You wouldn't believe the numbers of e-mails I've received about where the blardigan has been! And it washes SO well. I have washed it countless times, and it still looks as good as new!

    If they don't have something in your size, I would order a different size and exchange it later… That way you still get the sale price! In my past experiences with the sale they restock as well… I tried ordering the dark blardigan and it wouldn't let me, so I ordered a l/xl

    Love your blog – I've been reading for months and finally signed up for the Nordstrom debit card today – got a north face jacket, first pair of hanky panky, first natori bra, the must have shirt and NARS blush. So excited! I really wanted the blardigan but it's sold out of the smaller size again – maybe it will be restocked soon??
