When there’s not a heat index of 112 degrees that is.  Because yeah, that happened last week.

When we moved in 5 years ago, we had a covered back porch, but the rest of the backyard was a blank slate.  We bought the house knowing that we would eventually get a pool, and we decided to really go for it when working with the designers.  In addition to the pool and spa, we added an outdoor kitchen, and this covered gazebo after living in the house for a little over a year.

The beaded round place mats are DARLING.  I love the texture that they add to the table, and the multi-color beads are so festive!

The yellow fringe napkins added just the color contrast needed for the table.  They are a bright sunshine yellow, and the fringe adds such a nice detail.

The succulents and cactus are real.  I picked them up at my favorite local grocery store.  Fun tip:  the tin planter and the celadon green planter were originally candle holders!

These vibrant orange pillows caught my eye and I’m so glad I picked them up. I love how they add some bright and cheery color to this corner of our yard.
