Spanx and Tunic Sweaters for Christmas

I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend with your people.  We’re over here just trying to get things checked off our lists, while still taking time to enjoy the season.  Because the countdown to Christmas is on!  We’re talking 10 days!

OUTFIT #1

For the first leggings appropriate top, I found a great v neck sweater!  It’s lightweight, drapes perfectly, and is plenty long for leggings.  It’s oversized, but I still stuck with my regular small to make sure it would be long enough for leggings.

I picked this lovely green color since it’s so appropriate to the season, but it also comes in a beautiful Christmas red and 6 additional colors.  This is a really wonderful basic, and it’s only $19.99!

The faux leather leggings are amazing quality, they wash well, they don’t stretch out, and perhaps most importantly – you will feel amazing in them! I size up to a medium in these (I wear a small in all other leggings), and they fit perfectly. I’m guessing a small would work too, but I really like the comfort level of the mediums. They are a couple of inches too long on my 5’4″ frame, but I only wear them with tall boots, so that’s not a problem. And that’s great news for you tall girls that would like to wear them with heels!

They suck you in and totally slim you down, while still allowing you to breathe. It’s a thing of wonder.

Let’s talk about the boots.

They are from Marc Fisher and totally hot.

The chunky heel makes them easy to walk in, but they do have a pointy toe that might be uncomfortable for those that don’t have narrow feet.  They were true to size for me.

The ties in the back and the silver line at the heel are such nice design details.  They are so sassy!

I love every single piece I’m wearing and how they all came together for this festive look.

This studded cross body is extra fabulous.

It can be carried as a cross body or a clutch, and I love it both ways.  As a cross body, it has a great black metal chain as the strap.  The texture of the bag and the studs make it perfect for a night out on the town.

OUTFIT #2

This next top is a poncho, and I switched out Christmas green for this beautiful Christmas red.

The flowy nature of the top makes it perfect for holiday parties where you might be indulging in some holiday treats and/or cocktails.  #allegedly

It’s perfect on my 5’4″ frame with leggings, but if you are over 5’4″, I’m not sure it would be long enough.

Still, the top is great and would be awesome paired with some skinny jeans.

It has oversized dolman sleeves, fitted cuffs with button cuffs, and a handkerchief hem.  It’s so soft and very comfortable.
