This post is sponsored by Macy’s and ShopStyle. The product selections are my own, and I only highlight and promote pieces that I truly love. Thank you for supporting the brands that support Sheaffer Told Me To!
Macy’s is a retailer that I grew up frequenting as I would tag along on shopping trips with my mom. As an adult, Macy’s was a brand I never used to really even think about… until I started blogging. And I have to say, Macy’s is showing off lately, and I’m here for it. They have really great brands and they have amazing sales. What’s not to love? Another huge perk of Macy’s is their incredible furniture selection. I’m actually thinking that my next post with Macy’s might be a home project!
When I worked with Macy’s in February, I gave my guest bedroom a refresh! Y’all liked getting a peek into my home, and I certainly loved getting to make our guest room comfier and cozier for our loved ones. Not to mention, darling! Most of the bedding and accessories that I highlighted in my post are still available (AND ON SALE)!
When I worked with Macy’s in March, I showed you how to style a basic black maxi 2 ways. I know a lot of us can get in style ruts (myself included), so I hope it was a nice reminder for some of you on how to mix things up. Most pieces are still available and on sale as well!
In April, I did another simple post that highlighted 2 different ways to style a pair of boyfriend jeans. One outfit was super casual, and the other was a bit dressier. The jeans, the white peasant top, and the bags are all still available.
Today I’m highlighting 3 great dresses!
I did a dress post a couple of weeks ago and received a lot of great feedback from so many of you. It became apparent that the great majority of you definitely have tons of events (especially during the Spring and Summer months it seems) that require dresses. And like me, a lot of you don’t necessarily gravitate towards dresses. So, I’m hoping that when I feature dresses it’s providing a service to everybody who also finds it hard to find dresses you love.
But before we get started with the dresses, I’ve got some awesome news! Macy’s is having a huge promotion right now. Much of the site is 20% OFF right now through June 2nd with the code SHOP, and you will receive FREE SHIPPING with a $75 order!
Okay, let’s get started!
This first dress is perfect for a casual get together or just running around town! It’s a subtle pinstripe in a cotton linen blend. The blue and white stripes scream summer. And FYI, it comes in a heathered olive green too.
For size reference, I sized up to a medium and I’m glad I did because I needed the room in the chest as well as the additional length. Even the medium was short on my 5’4″ frame, so I’m afraid this dress might not work for you taller gals.
SALE ALERTS: This dress is already on sale, and with the additional 20% OFF, it’s only $30.39 (reg. $79.50)! The tote is on sale for $23.70.
dress / earrings / pom pom tote / sandals
I love the drawstring waist and the casual vibe it gives.
The pom pom tote is whimsical, fun, and it definitely adds the personality to this otherwise simple outfit. It’s an amazing value, and although I’ll be carrying it around town, it would also be great for a beach vacation.
I’ve found myself reaching for these slides a lot. They are super casual and a great light cognac color. And even though there is limited arch support, I still find them to be quite comfortable. I sized up a 1/2.
This is one of those dresses that you just throw on and go!

I think this might be the first wrap dress I’ve ever featured on the blog. AND LADIES! I love it!
SALE ALERTS: The earrings have been marked down to 70% OFF, making them only $7.86! The envelope clutch is 40% OFF.
faux wrap dress / earrings / envelope clutch / block heels
This dress fits like a dream and feels like pajamas.
I was instantly drawn to the pattern and colors, but I wasn’t sure if I was going to like how it fit.
And I actually love the fit! And I think it’s great that it’s just a “faux wrap”, so no worries about any wardrobe malfunctions, which I’m afraid I would always be worried about with a true wrap dress.
And check out the contrasting stripes against the bold floral. DARLING!
The flouncy skirt is precious, and the little tiered layer is such a nice detail.
I decided to go with simple accessories since the dress is so bold. These delicate hoops with the blue stone were the perfect choice.
The black clutch is a classic envelope style, and it’s big enough to hold all the essentials for a night out.
LET’S TALK ABOUT THE SHOES, LADIES.
These block heels are incredibly comfy.
INCREDIBLY. COMFY.
They are comfortable, stylish, and I imagine you could wear them all day. They are $110 and perfect for office wear as well. I also love the blush and grey combo.
This might be the first wrap dress I’ve ever shown on the blog, but it definitely won’t be the last. In fact, you can click HERE for a large and varied selection of wrap dresses.

The last dress for today is very romantic with its small floral pattern and tiered ruffle design. The tiered ruffles and the semi sheer sleeves are just so pretty and feminine. And the gathered elastic waist is insanely comfortable. I love this dress too, but it’s definitely getting low in stock. You can click HERE for a similar dress that’s fully stocked.
For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
SALE ALERT: The dress is normally $129, but with the code you can pick it up for $61.92! The similar dress is on sale too.

I’m wearing all the same accessories, so you can see that they are versatile.

If you have any events coming up, I’m hoping one of today’s dresses might be just what you were looking for! And with the huge sale going on, you should definitely look around to take full advantage. Click HERE for an amazing selection of women’s swimsuits (I think Macy’s has the best selection of tankinis and 1 pieces and most are ON SALE right now!) and their kitchen department is legit.
Before I let you go today, I would love some input! As mentioned before, I’m getting the itch to do some home updates, and I’m thinking that I’m going to do so on the blog with Macy’s! I have three ideas, but I would love your thoughts.
- A redo of Carter’s room. He has bunk beds, but he wants to switch to a regular queen bed. We actually bought his furniture from the previous homeowner in our last house YEARS before we were even pregnant, so he’s due for new furniture.
- An outdoor refresh/outdoor entertaining post. Outdoor rugs, pillows, planters, serving ware, and maybe an outdoor tablescape!
- New rugs for our living room and dining room, and a bit of an accessories refresh.
I’m really leaning towards #2 myself, but I would still like to hear from y’all, so sound off in the comments! A huge THANK YOU to Macy’s and ShopStyle for sponsoring this post.

Cute dresses! I am definitely a Macy’s gal as it my grandmothers go to store and to no one shopped like my gram (we usually opened and closed the store!). I’d love to see #2 as we have a HUGE patio and I never know how to really style it to look cute and still hold up to water, weather and sand.
