October Amazon Haul: OFFICE OUTFITS, AMAZING LEGGINGS, GREAT SWEATERS, and a PUFFER

Happy Friday, ladies! TODAY IS SO SO GOOD, SO GET READY!

EVERYTHING I’m featuring is super affordable, and I’m telling you, it’s all reallllllllllllllllly good.  I’m absolutely thrilled about my finds this month!

Sure, I order a lot that I never show y’all…But the items that I do end up featuring are really good. And with me as your shopping tour guide, I hope to make shopping Amazon fashion easy and even FUN!

AN AWESOME PUFFER and a DARLING TOTE

Let’s kick things off with an awesome puffer jacket and a darling tote.

Starting with the tote..like I said, it’s DARLING.

I mean, who doesn’t love a buffalo check! The bag is nice and big, and the contrasting brown handles and piping is so cute.

You can see the bottom is a little misshapen here, but that’s because I have leopard booties in there that I had been wearing for another shot. Haha! I would suggest buying this tote insert for it to help the tote keep its structure.  The XL insert would be great for this tote (it’s the size I have), and I don’t know how I ever did without these inserts!  They keep my bag super organized and also make it easy to switch between bags if that’s something you like to do.

Now let’s talk about the puffer.

It’s warm, it’s water resistant, the pockets are deep, and it covers my bum!  The quality is awesome, and the price is INCREDIBLE!!!  This jacket also comes in grey and navy.

I got a medium, but if I didn’t need room in the chest, I probably could have stuck with a small.

COLORED LEGGINGS AND LOTS OF OUTFITS

All right, because I know how much y’all love being comfy, outfits with leggings are next!

I’ve been talking about the black Amazon leggings for awhile now, but look at these wine colored leggings I found!  They are such a nice change, and although they aren’t the same brand as my black ones, I really do love them just as much.  And they are UNDER $20!  The black version of my leggings didn’t come in a grey that I loved, but these do.  So yeah, I’m buying the grey.

If you wear leggings, this split hem tunic tee is something you need in your closet.  It’s soft, it skims the body (but doesn’t hug it at all), and it covers the booty!  I sized up to a medium so it would be long enough for leggings.  If I was going to only wear it with jeans (it would be great with jeans and a cardi), I would have stuck with a small.

This top is a bit thicker and a bit longer than the tee above.  It’s more like a sweatshirt, but still not very heavy.  It comes in 7 colors, including a stripe and a really pretty blush.  I’m wearing a medium to ensure it would be long enough for leggings.

This pullover feels like a light fleece and is oh so cozy.  I love the blush I’m wearing, but I also love the olive and the light grey.  I haven’t washed it yet, but some readers report pilling, so be careful!

I showed this fleece pullover to y’all when it first came in last month, but I just threw it on with shorts.  Now you can see it styled the way it was meant to be styled….at least in my world…with leggings.  I’ll of course wear it with jeans too, but my goodness the outfit below sure is comfy.  I’m wearing a medium in the pullover.

This sweatshirt is $45 and worth every dang penny.  I wish it was longer and covered  my bum (which is why I’m wearing a tee under it), but I still love it.  Even though I’m wearing it with leggings here, the length makes it more appropriate for jeans.  I sized up to a medium, and I definitely needed to because it’s a slim fit.

It’s from the Amazon brand Core 10, and after reading lots of customer reviews, it seems as if the brand has a very loyal following.  The brand focuses on premium workout wear for women at reasonable prices.  Yes, please!  (Other Core 10 items that look awesome:  this Zella like zip up jacket and this short sleeve tech fleece sweatshirt.)

So let’s talk about the leggings. Officially, they are called High Waist Power Flex Leggings – With Tummy Control.  They are FANTASTIC.  In fact, when I asked on facebook about doing an Amazon haul last year, several people messaged me saying that I definitely needed to try these leggings.  Well, they were right.  They’re awesome.  I’m so glad y’all suggested them, because I never would have found them on my own!  There are soooooooooo many leggings to choose from on Amazon.  In fact, I ordered 2 other pairs, but these were definitely the best.  They are high waisted, have a big panel like the Zella high waisted leggings, and they suck you in while still allowing you to breathe.  It says they promote both compression and support, and they are not see thru at all.

LEGGINGS, DRESSED UP A BIT

Here are the same black leggings that you just saw above, but now dressed up with a tunic sweater and boots.

This cowl neck sweater  is MADE FOR LEGGINGS.  When wearing this, you will look totally put together, but feel like you are wearing pajamas.  The sweater is crazy soft and not clingy at all, which makes it perfect for leggings.  The leggings stay put, aren’t see thru, and launder perfectly!

JOGGER OUTFITS

This drop shoulder sweatshirt is straight up awesome. I showed it to you last month with leggings, but I’ve enjoyed wearing it with my joggers too.  It’s a super soft fleece and modal blend with ribbing at the hem and cuffs. It’s sooooooooooooo soft and soooooooooooooo cozy. And it’s completely leggings appropriate. I’m wearing a small in both the sweatshirt and the leggings. I highly recommend this sweatshirt, and you already know I highly recommend the leggings and the sneakers. Size down a 1/2 in the sneakers.

And since I know I’ll get questions on if you can wear the sweatshirt with leggings, you totally can!   I’m in a small sweatshirt, and it’s still long enough for leggings.

I’m obviously wearing the joggers SUPER casual in the outfit above, but I want to remind you that the joggers can also be dressed up a bit.  Do you remember this outfit?  It’s one of my recent favorites!

Sadly, the Amazon camo crew neck tee keeps going in and out of stock, but there’s a great v neck version (also at Amazon with better stock!) and another crew neck version HERE at Nordstrom. Size up in the Amazon tees, they are a very slim fit.

I’m still loving the Amazon denim jacket. It’s a little bit longer and a little bit less fitted than our beloved must have denim jacket, and it’s just what so many of y’all were looking for.  (Click HERE to see the jacket styled with black jeans.)  I highly recommend everything in this outfit, including the bag strap and mesh sneakers!

ROBE, HAIR TOWEL, and SLIPPERS

I’ve got one more super comfy and cozy item to talk about.  And here’s the deal…As soon as other bloggers discover it, it’s going to sell out.

The robe is cute, and soft, and plush, and warm, and darling.  I’m so happy to have it for myself, but it’s also going to make a FANTASTIC Christmas gift at just $25!

It comes in 15 colors (and I also love the dark grey with the stars).  For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

It would be SO CUTE to give a loved one a gift set with the hair towel, the robe, and these slippers (that I just ordered for myself).  I received the microfiber hair towel in a gift subscription box, and it’s awesome.  It really does help to dry your hair!

WORK WEAR OPTIONS

I know what you’re thinking..work wear options from Amazon? Really? The answer is YES.

I’m going to show you four work wear options, and I’m going to be wearing the same earrings, the same pants, and the same shoes in all 4 outfits.

If you haven’t seen my post about the pants, click HERE.   And great news, if your size was sold out last week, it might be available now!  They truly are the best pants ever and I cannot recommend them enough.  BE SURE TO SIZE DOWN.  I’m wearing the regular size 2s.  EVERYBODY NEEDS A  PAIR OF CLASSIC BLACK PANTS.  And if they look amazing but feel like pajamas, EVEN BETTER!  The fabric has a nice weight to it, they don’t show wrinkles, and I love the built in belt.  AND LADIES.  THEY ARE SOOOOOOO INCREDIBLY FLATTERING.

This graphic leopard blouse is fantastic.  It’s pretty, feminine, and fits great.  It has a sweet little pleated ruffle at the collar, and the cuffs have little pleats as well.  If you’re busty, you will probably need to size up.  I’m wearing a medium.  It comes in solid colors as well.

You haven’t seen this ivory sweater yet, but I’m styling it today two ways (with these pants and with jeans in just a sec).  It’s quite oversized, verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry soft, and I love the mock neck.  It has a thick band on the bottom, and it can be worn out with leggings or jeans.  I’m wearing a small, and it’s still a very relaxed fit.

FABULOUS CARDIGANS

Cardigans are always a highly requested item.

This one is a thick chunky knit with braided detail down the front.  It comes in 14 colors total.  I’m wearing a small and it’s great with jeans, but if I was wearing with leggings, I would size up to a medium for some additional length.

OKAY, LADIES!  This leopard cardigan is fabulous.  It’s soft, it’s a great length for both jeans and leggings, and it would also look great with a nice pair of slacks.  It’s perfectly oversized and a cardigan that I think just about everybody would reach for again and again.  I’m wearing a small.

I know the color I’m showing above has limited stock, but I love all of these colors (look at the subtle blush in the one on the far left) and they seem to be well stocked!  Click HERE! I seriously like all 4 options.

I’m wearing the  long line cardigan in pale heather here, but it comes in 9 total colors.  I LOVE the look of it, but I do wish it was a little softer.  It’s not itchy or anything though, so I’m keeping it since I love the fit, the length, and the color.  I’m wearing a small.  Consider sizing down.

Okay, y’all!  THE JEANS!  We’ve talked about them before (and there the ones I’m wearing in the outfit above), but let’s talk about them again.

I grabbed the jeans on Amazon, and they are the Democracy brand. I’m not sure how this works, but I think Democracy is a sister brand to Wit and Wisdom, so all of you Wit and Wisdom lovers need to pay extra close attention.  They are officially called jeggings because of their extreme stretch, but they DO have a functional button and zipper.

They are super stretchy (but don’t stretch out or sag during the day!) and are super similar to the Wit and Wisdom jeans with the Ab-solution technology that we all know and love.  They boast a no gap waistband, slimming mesh panels, and booty lift technology. The jeans also come in a dark indigo, black, grey, and a non distressed version of the medium wash that I’m in below.

CAMEL SWEATER OPTION

I showed you a camel colored sweater from Amazon earlier this month, but it sold out.  This one is also from Amazon, it looks super similar, and it’s also a great deal.  And the black jeans below are from Amazon too!

Now, my favorite black jeans are still my favorite black jeans, but these are a great alternative at only $39. I’m wearing the 27R, but I am going to return them for the 27S.  I had to cuff these for my 5’4″ frame, so I’m hoping the 27S is going to be more of an ankle length.   And great news!  They come in long too!

These particular jeans also come in gunmetal, high-low grey, indigo blue, light stone wash, mid blue, pure indigo, and washed indigo.  And they all come in short, regular, and long.  I wish all jean designers would do this!

MINI SWEATER HAUL

I referenced this Mini Amazon Haul several times throughout the post, so I thought it would be a good idea to just put it at the bottom of the post so everything could be in 1 place.

In preparation for the mini haul, I ordered 4 sweaters, a coat, and a pair of shoes.

I really liked all 4 sweaters, and I ended up adding 3 of the 4 to my closet.  All of them are under $40, a couple are under $30, and one is under $20.

But before we get started with the sweaters, these are the shoes I’m wearing in all of my outfits today.

These mules are $23.  TWENTY THREE DOLLARS.  They have a padded foot bed, are very comfy, and slip on easily (but don’t slip off when I walk)!  They are true to size.

Let’s get started with the try on!

SWEATER #1

I’m crazy about this exaggerated neck relaxed fit sweater .

I’m sad to report that this exact color in this sweater is sold out in many sizes, but it still appears to be stocked in the black and the ivory.  The remaining colors are great closet basics, and I really recommend that you GRAB THIS SWEATER in at least 1 of the available colors before they are all out of stock.

It really reminds me of a Free People sweater that is 3x the price.

I’m wearing a small here, and it’s still over sized.  If you want to wear it with leggings and you are taller than I am (5’4″), I would recommend sizing up 1 size so you’ll have enough length to cover your back end.  In addition to wearing it with jeans, I’ll definitely be wearing this sweater with these $18 leggings and my favorite tall black wedge boots.

SWEATER #2

Look at this color block design!  I love the color combo and the placement of the colors.  The back of the sweater is red (like the neck and the cuffs) too.  I’m wearing a 6 in the sweater, which is pretty true to size for me in sweaters.

There’s also a great blue, black, and grey combo that would look really awesome with black jeans.

Verdict: I’m returning this sweater even though I absolutely love the look and the fit.  It’s a little tight on my neck (although you should know that I do have a big neck), so it’s going back.

The lighting is messing with the sweater on the left, but the sweater on the left is a true camel color (instead of the oatmeal that it appears to be in the pic below).  The color on the website is very representative of what color it is in real life.

SWEATER #3

This is the sweater I posted last week when I had readers asking for another camel sweater option after my Camel Sweater| 3 Ways blog post.  I had highlighted this awesome cashmere camel sweater, but some readers wanted a sweater without any wool in it, and some of you just wanted a more affordable option.

Well, this is your sweater!  It’s a beautiful camel color, it’s very soft, and it’s just a great basic.  It comes in v neck (seen below) as well as a scoop neck version.  The sweater is somewhat fitted, so I sized up to a medium so it wouldn’t be too clingy.  I’ve styled it here with my new leopard cross body.

Verdict:  I’m keeping it.

And I changed it up just a bit here by switching out the small cross body for the large tote.

This sweater will also be great with skinny blue jeans, my itty bitty boot cut jeans, black suit pants, and pencil skirts.  I’m telling you, a beautiful colored camel sweater is absolutely a wardrobe staple.

And here’s the real kicker.  This sweater is ONLY $18.50.  And it comes in 32 colors/color combinations!  Some of the patterns cost a bit more, but all of them are under $25.

SWEATER #4

Here’s the same sweater in leopard.  This one is a bit more at $24.50, but it’s definitely worth it.  These sweaters are so soft and are the type of fit where they look great on their own, and they would also look great under a blazer.

Verdict:  I’m keeping it.

For those of you that want a chunkier leopard sweater, I found this one.

This over sized leopard sweater would be perfect with leggings.  It’s only $29.99, comes in several color choices, and has excellent reviews.

The camel and grey color combo is totally chic.  Size down in this coat for sure.  I ordered the small, but I definitely need the x-small, and I’m NEVER an x-small.

For those that are curious, here are the Top 3 Amazon items from September.  These items confirm that Y’ALL ARE MY PEOPLE.  Comfort is king, ladies.

1. The leggings that everybody is freaking out over.  I get it.  I freaked out too.  I wear a small.

2.  My favorite pajamas .They are stretchy, comfy, and all around awesome.  I’ve had them for almost a year             now and they launder perfectly!  I’ve washed them at least 30 times and they still look great.  I have a medium.

3. These joggers. Tons of readers said they got them in 3 colors!  I mean, they are only $18.  I have a small.
