One day last week I hopped on my computer and ordered 6 things from Amazon Prime. I would say I typically end up actually liking about 50% OFF of the items I order on Amazon. But this time? I liked all 6 pieces. YEP. 100%. That’s an A+, y’all.
I ordered 4 sweaters, a coat, and a pair of shoes.
I really liked all 4 sweaters, and I ended up adding 3 of the 4 to my closet. All of them are under $40, a couple are under $30, and one is under $20.
But before we get started with the sweaters, these are the shoes I’m wearing in all of my outfits today.
These mules are $23. TWENTY THREE DOLLARS. They have a padded foot bed, are very comfy, and slip on easily (but don’t slip off when I walk)! They are true to size.
Let’s get started with the try on!
I’m crazy about this exaggerated neck relaxed fit sweater .
I’m sad to report that this exact color in this sweater is sold out in many sizes, but it still appears to be stocked in the black and the ivory. The remaining colors are great closet basics, and I really recommend that you GRAB THIS SWEATER in at least 1 of the available colors before they are all out of stock.
It really reminds me of a Free People sweater that is 3x the price.
I’m wearing a small here, and it’s still over sized. If you want to wear it with leggings and you are taller than I am (5’4″), I would recommend sizing up 1 size so you’ll have enough length to cover your back end. In addition to wearing it with jeans, I’ll definitely be wearing this sweater with these $18 leggings and my favorite tall black wedge boots.
Verdict: I’m keeping this sweater and I’m ordering it in the ivory as well. I would order it in the black too, but I have another black sweater than I’m featuring on Wednesday from a different retailer, so I don’t need this one in black. It’s a really great sweater. I love the neck so much.
Look at this color block design! I love the color combo and the placement of the colors. The back of the sweater is red (like the neck and the cuffs) too. I’m wearing a 6 in the sweater, which is pretty true to size for me in sweaters.
There’s also a great blue, black, and grey combo that would look really awesome with black jeans.
Verdict: I’m returning this sweater even though I absolutely love the look and the fit. It’s a little tight on my neck (although you should know that I do have a big neck), so it’s going back.
The lighting is messing with the sweater on the left, but the sweater on the left is a true camel color (instead of the oatmeal that it appears to be in the pic below). The color on the website is very representative of what color it is in real life.
This is the sweater I posted last week when I had readers asking for another camel sweater option after my Camel Sweater| 3 Ways blog post. I had highlighted this awesome cashmere camel sweater, but some readers wanted a sweater without any wool in it, and some of you just wanted a more affordable option.
Well, this is your sweater! It’s a beautiful camel color, it’s very soft, and it’s just a great basic. It comes in v neck (seen below) as well as a scoop neck version. The sweater is somewhat fitted, so I sized up to a medium so it wouldn’t be too clingy. I’ve styled it here with my new leopard cross body.
Verdict: I’m keeping it.
And I changed it up just a bit here by switching out the small cross body for the large tote.
This sweater will also be great with skinny blue jeans, my itty bitty boot cut jeans, black suit pants, and pencil skirts. I’m telling you, a beautiful colored camel sweater is absolutely a wardrobe staple.
And here’s the real kicker. This sweater is ONLY $18.50. And it comes in 32 colors/color combinations! Some of the patterns cost a bit more, but all of them are under $25.
Here’s the same sweater in leopard. This one is a bit more at $24.50, but it’s definitely worth it. These sweaters are so soft and are the type of fit where they look great on their own, and they would also look great under a blazer.
Verdict: I’m keeping it.
I grabbed one more pic so you could get a better look at the sweater without the bag.
For those of you that want a chunkier leopard sweater, I found these next two and have ordered both to try as well. I’ll definitely show them in my monthly Amazon haul towards the end of the month (if they are still available).
This over sized leopard sweater would be perfect with leggings. It’s only $29.99, comes in several color choices, and has excellent reviews.
And how great is this leopard cardigan?
It’s not leopard, but I also love this chunky tiger print sweater.
And look at this coat, ladies!
The camel and grey color combo is totally chic. Size down in this coat for sure. I ordered the small, but I definitely need the x-small, and I’m NEVER an x-small.

JOGGER, SNEAKER, and LEGGING REVIEW
All right, that’s all the new stuff today, but I want to do do a quick review on 3 of the most popular items (from Amazon) on the blog this last month. So many of y’all have purchased the same 3 items, and I’ve literally received hundreds of messages absolutely singing their praises.
Over the last month, I’ve shown lots of outfit variations with my cropped leggings (long leggings here), my joggers, and my mesh sneakers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND all 3 purchases, and wanted to share a small number of YOUR reviews as well as a couple of collages highlighting all of the outfits.
Here’s a reader review on the leggings:
These are the best leggings I’ve ever owned. And that’s saying something because I own lots of Zellas and Lululemons. I can’t believe the quality for the price. – Samantha P.
Click HERE for the sneakers (size down a 1/2).
Here are 2 reader reviews on the sneakers:
These shoes are EVERYTHING! I now have them in 3 colors. Most comfortable shoes ever. Thanks for the tip! @kimonbeach
I have the mesh sneakers and I love them! Love them so much I bought another pair in a different color So comfy and versatile. I wore them on a trip and my feet never hurt after being in them for over 12 hours. @jbosmom
And check out all of my outfits with the leggings!
Click HERE for the joggers (I wear a small, but size down if between sizes).
Here’s 1 reader review on the joggers: My joggers came yesterday. I bought them in black, tried them on, and immediately went online and ordered the grey. In fact, since they’re only $18, I think I’m going to order duplicates so that I’ll have backups when these are in the wash. Seriously the best joggers I own. And I own many! Thanks for finding them, Sheaffer! @susanbcoe

And here are several outfit ideas with the joggers!
That’s all for today’s mini Amazon haul, but I’ve got one more thing for you!
Narci, one of my besties, takes Carter’s pictures every year and we absolutely treasure them. This year she is offering pumpkin mini sessions and OMG look at the cuteness! She grabbed Madeley and Britt, headed to her awesome location and got everything set up, and snapped some pictures to show you what your pics will look like.
DARLING. That’s what they will look like. DARLING.
We already have our session set, and you can see in the graphic above when she’s going to be at this bridge just waiting to capture magic with your kids. E-mail her to reserve your time(firstname.lastname@example.org), and you better do it fast, because these (limited) times will book up! It’s so nice to have such talented friends.
Okay, that’s it! I hope y’all enjoyed today’s post and were able to pick up a couple of new items for yourself!
