Now That It’s On Sale…You Should Probably Just GO FOR IT!

Don’t worry ladies, I promise I’m still doing a Bachelorette recap, it will be up tomorrow morning!
However, I’m not sure how many of you are still watching and even care.

Actually, maybe I should take this opportunity to ask you to sound off in the comments.

Okay, so the rest of this post is a list of SALE ITEMS.
I’ll number them, because who doesn’t like a list.

that was helping me brought me the tee and I about died when I saw it’s
price tag ($95), but oh my goodness it was like butter.  Do any of you
girls have James Perse tees?
I haven’t pulled the trigger on such a pricey tee, but I am definitely intrigued. 

The jacket is light weight, it’s a cute fit, and it comes in 3 colors.

If you’ve been following my blog for awhile, you know I got a black
jacket last year that I absolutely adored.  However, the stock must have
been small, because almost immediately after posting it the very first
time it sold out.  And it never re-stocked.
And some of you girls felt like it was the jacket that got away.  🙂

So, if you remember, I was teasing “some awesome pants”.  I was planning on not talking about these pants till in August or so as people were gearing up for fall pieces, BUT NOW THAT THEY ARE 40% OFF, Nordstrom has “forced” me to talk about them now.  You know how I feel about a good sale.  I just can’t keep it to myself.  I feel compelled to shout it from the mountain tops.  Or from blogspot.  Same diff.

I bought a pair of camo pants from GAP a couple of years ago, and every single time I post a picture of myself in them, I get tons of “where can I find those pants?” comments.  Well, in the last 2 years, I haven’t found a pair of camo pants that I liked enough to link to and highlight..
UNTIL NOW.

By the way, I’d seen them online before and didn’t love them (the reviews aren’t great and they look shiny in the pictures on the model), but the sales girl urged me to try them on, and I’m so glad she did!  I like them even better than my original pair, and that’s sayin’ somethin! 
I will tell you, the sales girl told me to go up a size, and she was right.
I’m normally a size 4, and I am wearing a 6 in these pants.
Going up a size SUCKS, but hey, what are ya gonna do? 
Once you size up they are SUPER flattering and comfy!
Just cut the tags out when you get the pants.  
What?  You wouldn’t ever do anything that stupid?
Um Yeah, neither would I.

Before we talk about the pants some more, let’s just take another second to admire the jacket.
Take however much time you need.

These pants have the perfect amount of stretch in them, and they fit like a glove!
The zipper detailing is great, and they are a great fun staple do have in your closet.
Are you going to wear camo pants twice a week?  No.  But at 40% off, they are
totally worth the investment and really infuse a FUN FACTOR into your closet!
 I probably wear mine once every 2-3 weeks and am so glad I have them in steady rotation!

Sadly, there are only a couple of sizes left in this color, but all sizes are available in the studded black.
I don’t remember this when I tried it on, but a review says the arm holes are big and that your bra would probably show.  So…plan on wearing a tank under it…or just plan on wearing it as a first layer 
under a light jacket!

THIS jacket is from the maker of the MUST HAVE jacket.
My exact jacket is a lighter wash, but I’ve had on this one too and love it.
It looks boxy on the model, but I didn’t find that to be the case at all.  It was “fitted” just like the MUST HAVE denim jacket.  For size reference, my jacket is a small.
The small is quite fitted on me, but that’s what I like about it!

    As much as I would love those camo pants this mama needs to lose a little more weight before buying them!!! 😉 I do love your Bachelorette recaps…they always start my day w/ a good laugh…BUT I also know how boring the shows are getting & I know how time consuming it is to not only watch the show but then write about it. I am here to say I am leaving it up to you on whether you continue recaps or not. Even tho that's how I found your blog, I will continue to read your blog daily no matter what!!!!     I watch the show and I love your recaps, which are far more entertaining than the show…however, I know it must be awfully time consuming to put together so if you'd rather not then I'd say just relax and enjoy your little guy and summer more instead.
    I said I wasn't going to buy anything else till the Anniversary Sale but I need that jacket!

    Couldn't care less about the recaps, but it seems others do. I live in TX & used to be like you…cold in summer & needed a jacket everywhere. Then I turnes 40…#notsomuch…my wardrobe needs have changed & must be able to quickly strip down to the lightest layer possible. Perhaps you should highlight some adorbs purse fans for the elderly folks. #willitmatchmyMKwatch *Side note… My oldest went to Kinder last year. #you'regonnamisshim

    I am a big time Bachelor fan and I love your recaps but I know this season doesn't give you a lot to work with, so I totally get it if you want to stop. But I do love them.

    I like the jacket a but wonder if it feels too short. Did it feel awkward having the shirts hang out below it?

    I hate to say it, but it made me feel a little bit better knowing that even someone as tiny as you has to sometimes size up in pants. I have to sometimes as well and as soon as I remove the tag, I feel better 🙂

    I watch the show and have always enjoyed your recaps. You are so funny and make me laugh. I do realize they are a lot of work. Maybe you could just highlight some funny moments to make us all laugh instead of recapping the whole show. Lots of it is boring anyway!

    I've honestly never watched a full episode of the show (except when Shay was on) but I read just about every word of the recap because they are so entertaining. You are a hilarious writer! I have a solution, the show's writers should just hire you to make it more interesting. Problem solved. Oh and you are rocking those camo pants!

    I've searched for camo pants for a year that I would LOVE and I think you've accomplished this task for me!
    Definitely gonna be ordering these! They look great on you and my favorite is when you paired them with the black & white striped shirt. 🙂
    The Bachelor/Bachelorette recaps are a tough one. I so enjoy them, but I can see your side how difficult it is to watch and get them done. Every season they are doing the same crappy dates. Maybe just kind of pick and choose the episodes you want to recap. Thats my suggestion!

    I ordered the jacket in black last night, but I am thinking that I am too old to be wearing the camo pants (I'm a young 56 yrs. old), but love the way you show it with so many different colors. Like the leopard, it is such a great neutral. I used to watch The Bachelor, and started reading your blog during Sean's season….however Juan Pablo didn't interest me at all, so also didn't have any interest in watching Andi this season.

    Never watched a single episode of any of the Bachelor/ette, but I do read your recaps just for fun cuz I figured if you take the time to type out the recap then I would skim it to see what you would say about the girls outfits!
