I’m of course happy because it’s Friday, but I’m also THRILLED that today is my monthly Amazon haul!!!  Today’s stuff is SO GOOD, y’all.  The items are DARLING, WELL MADE, and the prices are FANTASTIC.

This classic cardigan is an awesome Amazon find! I showed it a couple of weeks ago, but I wanted it to live on the monthly Amazon post.

I can of course wear it open over a tee like a cardigan is most often worn, but I think it looks great all buttoned up like this! It’s simple, but also classic, and at the same time a little bit sassy?!? I’m not sure if that makes sense or not, but I really love it. It’s very soft, it has excellent reviews, and it comes in 5 other colors. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

The jeans I’m wearing have created lots of fanfare over the last week. They are the most expensive jeans I’ve ever owned, and I’m IN LOVE. They FEEL like they are expensive, which they should, BECAUSE THEY ARE! I’ve heard tons of influencers sing the praises of Mother Jeans for a while now, and I finally took the plunge. It helped that I had credit on Amazon, and that’s where I found them. They’ve got stretch in them, but they still have structure. They hold their shape, and they make me feel great. For size reference, I’m wearing a 27.

Here are the Mother jeans again with my favorite new sweater! I wore this week for the first time AND RECEIVED THREE COMPLIMENTS on the sweater! And every single person that complimented me got to hear me say “THANKS! IT’S FROM AMAZON!” And I’ll tell you this, all 3 people were FLOORED. Clearly they don’t read my blog and they don’t know that there are seriously awesome clothing finds on Amazon, but I’m telling you…. this sweater is soooooooooo good. It is closer fitting than most sweaters I wear, and it’s thick and warm. It’s called a “cropped” sweater, but don’t worry, it’s not so cropped that there’s any chance of my belly showing. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. It comes in tons of great colors.

I received tons of requests over the last week to find a pair of jeans that were comparable to the Mother jeans, but without the hefty price tag. I knew immediately that my Risen jeans were similar, but I also knew that they weren’t currently in stock.

WELL GUESS WHAT! I got a text from my Social Threads contact yesterday (Shout Out, Maureen!) and she let me know that the famous Risen jeans would be back in stock today!

I’m wearing my regular size 27, but they strongly suggest sizing down 1 size. I read a lot of the reviews left on the site, and it does seem as if just about everybody needed to size down. My stomach is my problem area, so maybe that’s why I stuck with my regular size. I suggest taking the advice to size down. They are described as mid-rise on the site, but since I have a non-existent torso, they fit higher on me. They are very stretchy, but they don’t sag…. and they are super comfortable. They are straight leg with some distressing, AND I LOVE THEM. They are very on trend and super affordable, which is a great little combo. They’re awesome! Seriously get yourself a pair before they’re gone again! You can wear them with sneakers, mules, flats, booties, sandals, wedges, whatever! I’m wearing the regular length, but they also come in LONG now too!

I LOVE my Mother jeans and don’t regret buying them at all, but the Risen jeans are a great option for those of you that think it’s INSANE to spend $220 on a pair of jeans. (And let’s be honest, it is insane!) Haha! 🙂

Now I have tons of awesome sweaters to share! Lots of these would be perfect for Thanksgiving, and most of them will arrive in time to wear on turkey day (depending on where you live of course).

This sweater is the lightest weight of all the sweaters I’m featuring today, and you have 15 colors to choose from. I’m in the brick red, but the black and the ivory would be great basics to have in your closet. This is one of those items that I think that many of you will end up grabbing in a couple of colors. It looks great on its own, but it will also be perfect for layering because of the weight. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

This ultra-soft pullover really is ULTRA soft. It has great stretch, and I would say it’s a medium to thick weight that will keep you warm, but won’t allow you to burn up. This one doesn’t come in solid colors, but it comes in 9 interesting and chic patterns. I really like all of the choices. On the left, I have the fitted band out and bloused the sweater up over it. On the right, I did a half tuck. I like it both ways. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

I LOVE this sweater. I’ll be wearing it all over McKinney, TX….but if you’re going to Aspen or Vail, you totally need it. This sweater deserves to be in Aspen or Vail. It’s that good. Officially, this is the “Dark Chestnut Brown Heather/Coral Pink/Beige”. It’s very soft, thick, and quite warm. If this color combo and pattern isn’t your jam, I don’t understand you, but there are other really great choices! 🙂 Don’t pass this sweater up. It’s very well made, and it looks much more expensive than it actually is. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

This crewneck sweater is a wonderful neutral, but it’s jazzed up a bit with some neutral color-blocking. It’s like oatmeal, grey, and a camel brown and it’s so pretty! I really like the camel at the neckline and the cuffs. I’ve shown this sweater in other colors before, and I’m a big fan of it. I have it in the plain beige and the green. It’s just a wonderful basic that will serve you well.

For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but I need a small. It’s quite long on me, and there’s enough stretch that a small shouldn’t be too tight.

Okay, another seriously awesome sweater that looks like it’s from a department store. Y’all know the color is what initially drew me to this cable knit sweater. I’m a total sucker for this gorgeous deep shade of green, especially during the holidays. I think it’s festive! It is 100% cotton and has near perfect reviews. The design is beautiful, and once again, people are never going to believe that it’s from Amazon. I have to say, I’m consistently blown away by the quality of so many of the things that I order and end up featuring. Sure, I also order things that end up being total poop, but I’m not going to show you those things! If I show it, I stand behind the quality! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

I’m wearing this ribbed knit sweater in “pure rose”, and it comes in a handful of other great basic colors. This is a great hot pink. I’m wearing it with regular denim here, but I think it would look great with black and white denim as well. I’m wearing a medium, but I definitely need a small. It’s a relaxed fit, soft, and comfy.

This pleated shoulder v neck sweater is realllllllllllly soft and just a very pretty and feminine sweater. The deep v, the pleated shoulders, and the fitted waistband are all nice details.

When I pulled it out of the box, I thought it looked huge and that the sleeves looked ridiculous. HOWEVER…when I put it on, I actually loved it. 😉 I almost didn’t even put it on, so you definitely need to give it a chance. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

This sweater and the next are both a beautiful pale blush, which is one of my favorite colors. I think this color looks so pretty on just about everybody. Now, this is officially called “lilac”, but I really do think it’s more of a blush. It’s a relaxed fit, and it’s perfect for those who don’t love a fitted sweater and who don’t want to have to do a half tuck. This falls right at my waist and looks great just worn out like this. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

Another pretty blush sweater! This one is softer than the one above, it has a deeper v neck, it’s much more blousy, and the sleeves are much more voluminous. I’m wearing a medium here, but I definitely need a small. I LOVE the color and how soft it is, so I’m definitely going to order the small. Notice the drapey sleeves and the pretty pleats before the fitted cuffs!

DENIM REVIEW (and more sweaters!)

Okay, now I’m going to review 3 different pairs of Democracy jeans all found on Amazon!

I highly recommend these black jeggings, especially as we’re headed into the holiday season. And they are ON SALE right now!

First of all, they are incredibly stretchy and insanely comfortable. And if we ever needed a wonderfully stretchy jean in our lives, it’s during holiday season right? Another reason that black jeans are great during the holiday season (as well as year round) is that you can easily dress them up (or down). These are longer on my 5’4″ frame than I’d like, so I have them turned up a couple of inches.

They have excellent reviews and the “AbSolution” technology we all know and love. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4. Size down if between sizes.

The petite straight leg jeans are on sale too, as are the regular length option as well. These have fantastic reviews! Like over 5,000 5 star reviews. Even though I’m wearing petite, they are too long on me. I’m considering just cutting them off on my own, because I like the fit otherwise. They come in lots of different washes! For size reference, I’m wearing a petite size 4.

I’ve been told that these crop jeans aren’t stocked very well, but they do look like they are currently available in most sizes for now. These are the “Bl Blue”. Below, you will see that the hem has been turned up twice for a teeny tiny cuff. And this should be a surprise, but these also have excellent rating and are a phenomenal price. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4.

This batwing cocoon cardigan is one of my very favorite Amazon purchases ever. I ordered it on a whim last month, and I didn’t even really love it when I took it out of the box. However, the moment I slipped it on I FELL IN LOVE.

It’s FABULOUS.

I’m wearing the “dark khaki” here and am totally smitten with the color. The forearms are ribbed and fitted, it’s a batwing sleeve, and it’s a cocoon fit. It’s fitted more around the bottom, so it kind of just envelopes you. I think it’s awesome.

This cream crewneck sweater is a total classic. The cream is such a great basic, but there’s over 20 colors, so there’s something for everybody! It has over 4,000 5-star ratings, so lots of people love this sweater. It’s 100% cotton and once again, great quality. It’s long on my frame, so I definitely prefer wearing it in a half tuck. I’m wearing a medium here, but I wonder if the small would be a better fit.

This hoodie sweater is super luxe, feels and looks much more expensive than it is, and has a great fit. I love how you can dress it up or down even though the sweater itself actually feels very luxe. Several colors are still available, I’m wearing a medium here and would definitely need a medium if wearing with leggings. When wearing with jeans, I would prefer the fit of a small.

This fine gauge cardigan is a relaxed fit, super soft, and very lightweight. For those of you that like a cardi that covers your backside, this is going to be a great option. This one isn’t structured at all, in fact it’s drapey and kind of flowy. It runs very large. I’m in an x-small here, so definitely size down at least 1 size. I’m wearing the camel, but I think of it as more of a soft pumpkin color. I actually don’t love the color on me, so I think I’m going to order it in the basic black.

Let’s get right to it: I love this one and you should probably buy it.

This tunic sweater is leggings friendly! It’s soooo soft, it’s totally cozy, and it’s just a really great sweater. It’s a turtleneck, but the turtleneck itself is super relaxed and not tight or fitted at all. This one has near perfect ratings and everybody seems to love it. The body of the sweater is very forgiving, but you can see that the arms are fitted, which keeps the sweater from just looking sloppy. There’s a banded hem, but it’s not tight. It’s a bit longer in the back than in the front. I’m wearing the small, and I think I might could even do the x-small.

It comes in like 30 colors, and I’m wearing the nutmeg.

In addition to the banded hem, it also has these splits on each side, so it won’t hug your backside when in leggings. It just lays very nicely!

I’ll be wearing this one with leggings and cute sneakers for sure.

This color block cardigan is going to be one that I know lots of you like. I’ll definitely wear this on warm days in the fall, but this one will also be great all the way into spring. This is the “A-pink” and I really love the color combination of cream, khaki, blush/lilac, and rust. It’s super soft and just pretty! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

First of all, this runs big, so definitely size down. I’m in the medium and will be returning for the small.

I thought the color combo of this deep blush with the contrasting pumpkin colored collar, zipper, and pocket was a great combination. It’s sherpa, but it’s not super heavy. Certain colors and sizes are on sale, so maybe you will get lucky!

Let’s talk about these sandals/slippers. They are actually called sandals, but I won’t be wearing these babies out of the house, so I’m going to call them slippers. They’ve been taking the internet by storm, and if you have a teen girl, these would be an awesome gift for under the tree.

They have a hard sole, so they are definitely made to be worn out of the house. Because of the hard sole, they feel more like a shoe than a slipper when you have them on. When I first put them on, I thought they weren’t cozy enough, but I ended up wearing them a majority of my day at home and actually really liked them. They don’t come in half sizes, and I’m typically a 6 1/2, and I sized up.

I’ll be honest, I don’t love the color choices, but I do love this set! I’m wearing the peach marble print in a medium, I could have worn a small in the joggers, but I definitely need a medium in the top. This set is SUPER comfy and actually quite flattering. I’ll definitely reach for it when lounging around at home, but I’ll also throw a puffer on top to run to the store. In the spring, I think it will be cute with a denim jacket.

It has near perfect reviews and is 100% cotton! I’m wearing it in the terracotta, but instead of orange tones, I think it has pink tones. It has a shorter fit (although not cropped), and although I love the fit on me, I don’t think it will work on you taller ladies or those with really long torsos.  It’s got thick ribbing around the neck, cuffs, and hem.  For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

This is one of those items I predict that many of you will end up buying in multiple colors.  It’s a great quality sweater at a fantastic price at just under $30.

BACK IN STOCK….

Ladies, some past favorites are BACK IN STOCK!

I know you are going to find this hard to believe (or maybe you won’t)….but I ordered another one of these swingy sweaters.

Why?

BECAUSE I CAN’T STOP. And this gorgeous red was calling to me.

I usually wear a small, but I ordered an x-small this time just to compare the fit. I definitely need a small if I’m going to wear it with leggings, but the x-small is more than fine if just wearing with jeans. It’s still oversized with a great swingy fit.

This boucle turtleneck sweater is a very pretty dusty pink, one of my favorite colors. It’s thick and warm and oh so cozy. I love the ribbing on the neckline, cuffs, and large hem. It’s a really pretty sweater.

For size reference, I’m wearing a medium and it’s definitely long enough for leggings. If you aren’t planning on pairing it with leggings, I would recommend sizing down.

This cable knit sweater has a subtle funnel neck, a really great lattice style pattern, and this one is the most beautiful shade of green!  I really like the green, but the ivory is GORGEOUS, the red is festive, and the grey and black are totally classic. I’m wearing a medium, but I need a small in this one. It’s hard to tell, but there’s a lot of room and a lot of extra fabric, and it’s not supposed to be an oversized fit.

Do you need a lightweight cardigan? If so, this cardigan is for you! I showed it to you before in mustard, but I didn’t love the mustard color (it was more of a sunshine yellow when it arrived), so I sent it back and got this lavender color (officially called purple). I like it much better.  It’s a light waffle weave, so it’s not super warm or heavy. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

This fair isle sweater is actually just a different design of the same sweater directly above. It’s festive and classic. Again, I’m wearing a medium.

This green sweater is TO DIE FOR and IT’S BACK!!!  It sold out immediately when I posted it the first time, so I’m so happy to see it back!  It’s sooooooooo soft and I love the relaxed, but not sloppy fit. This sweater has fantastic reviews, and I totally agree. There are actually TONS of colors in this sweater, but you are going to have to click around to find the size you need (and just hope it isn’t sold out yet)!  These babies are flying off the shelf.

For size reference, I’m wearing a small.  I would say it runs a bit oversized, which is why the small works for me (often times in sweaters like this I would require a medium for room in the chest). I predict this will be one that you will buy in additional colors after you receive your first one.

There are a lot of options on this one necklace link, but the one I’m wearing (although you only see 2 necklaces here) is actually the 3 Layer-Snake Chain&Link Chain&Coin. The necklaces are all separate, so you can wear just 1, you can combine different pairs together, or you can wear all 3.

Today’s post has lots of great items that I’m really excited about, but I’m extra excited about this crew neck sweater. It’s got a tiny little pleated puff shoulder, and this neutral is to die for (officially called “beige”). It’s seriously fabulous and super soft, and there are several colors to choose from including a really pretty rust. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

Are you looking something with a little more punch than just a solid color sweater? This pullover sweater in this darling zebra print is so fun and unique! There are actually several patterns in this sweater that are beautiful and look very high end. It’s very soft and it has some thickness to it, so it feels very luxe on. This oversized hoodie is awesome for lounging. This is the “apricot”, but I think it’s more just like a standard cream. For size reference, I’m wearing a small and it’s still quite large. I would recommend sizing down for sure. I’ll definitely wrap up in this at home, but I’m unsure if I’ll wear it out of the house. Maybe I would consider it if I sized down to an x-small.

This quarter zip hoodie is awesome. It’s from the collaboration with Core 10 (an Amazon brand) and Reebok, so you know it’s great quality! I love the colors, I LOVE the zipper, and I love the style. It’s cropped, which I normally don’t go for in work out gear, but this changed my mind. It’s sporty and just has so much style! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

And these are the leggings I purchased back in 2019. I’ve washed them countless times, and they still look brand new. They hold their shape, they don’t sag, and they aren’t see-thru. They are a great basic. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

This pullover comes in several different color variations in this standard leopard print. This is the “pink”, but I think of it as more lavender than pink. Actually, I guess it’s a pinky lavender. It’s got splits on the sides, and the neckline, cuffs, and hem are all solid. It’s a perfect look for running around town or lounging comfortably at home. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

I’ve got yet another swing sweater for you today because I just can’t quit them! I’m seriously not even embarrassed or ashamed that this is like my 74th swing sweater. Okay, I might be exaggerating a tad, but y’all know I have several.

This is the pink-white-khaki, and I love the color-blocking on the front, back, and sleeves. One thing I want to mention…..you can see where my sweater is pretty straight across the hem in the front. It is definitely longer in the back like it is shown on the model, but the front doesn’t have the deep v cut that’s shown on the model.

I have no idea how I stumbled upon this pom pom sweater, but my goodness I am smitten. It is sooooo soft, it has a great amount of stretch in it, and it is beautifully made. I was a bit worried about pom pom placement, but it seems to be strategic, so there’s no unfortunate pom pom/nipple confusion happening. Haha! In addition to the adorable pattern, look at the sleeves! They are fitted at the cuff and so pretty. For size reference, I’m wearing a size 8.

These leggings are from Amazon too, and they are awesome. They are the 7/8 length, so they hit me perfectly at the ankles. They have really great reviews, and I’ve been very happy with them. They aren’t see thru at all and they launder perfectly. For size reference, I’m wearing the small.

This sweater is SERIOUSLY soft. And it’s a super relaxed fit (which I love). It has a bit of a bat wing design, but it’s still very flattering. I’m wearing the small here and it’s still quite roomy. It comes in 12 total colors.  

I had a lot of people asking me about the fabric content since we couldn’t find it listed on the site.  I didn’t know then, but I’ve since found an interior tag with the following info:  50% Viscose, 30% Nylon, 20% PBT. If I had to guess, I would have guessed clouds and unicorn wings.

sweater / large monogrammed disc necklace /Amazon hoop earrings / stripe fold over clutch / gold party bangles /raw hem ankle jeans / neutral booties
