NEW Colleen Rothschild Product and a NEW Avara Fall Launch

Today there are a couple of big launches with a couple of my favorite brands!

AVARA FALL LAUNCH

Let’s start with Avara. There’s a huge fall collection that launched this morning, and it’s fabulous.

This top is totally charming. It has a cream background which means it’s appropriate all year long, but the colors in the small floral pattern actually make it great for fall. The top has a relaxed fit and puff sleeves, but it’s more understated than a lot of the puff sleeve tops out there right now. It also comes in olive HERE.

The banded collar features a ruffle with tons of tiny little pleats and the covered buttons are lovely. This top is feminine and adorable. The split neck is deep (but not too deep) and very flattering. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. If you have a large chest, you might consider sizing up. This top is actually on the shorter side (see the online picture), but since I’m short waisted, I’m still able to do a half tuck with it.

BECAUSE THIS JACKET IS THE REAL DEAL.

I pulled it out of the box and immediately knew I was going to like it. But then I put it on and OH MY WORD. I walked into Chris’s office and started jabbering about how great it was. He was all, “Is this going to be a new MUST HAVE?” 😉 Haha! I love it that he knows the lingo. And you know what, it just might be!

Now listen… it’s simple (so pretty timeless), it’s stretchy (so it’s comfy), it’s versatile, it’s flattering, and you will reach for it all the time. These are all things that must have pieces need to be, so it has a real good chance of claiming MUST HAVE status.

Truly, this jacket is a perfect layering piece that you will be so happy to have in your closet.

As long as it doesn’t sell out (I’m guessing it’s going to go F*A*S*T*), I plan on styling it in several different outfits for Friday’s post. I just ran out of time and couldn’t do it for today, but I needed to show you today because of the high sell out risk.

These Aliyah jeans are amazing too. They are stretchy, comfy, flattering as all get out, and what I consider to be a perfect straight leg option. I know that wide leg jeans and barrel jeans are all the rage right now, but I have to say, I still find a nice straight leg jean to be the most figure flattering by far. These are a mid to high rise with a frayed hem. I like the length with these booties, but I might actually cut a bit of length off so they will show a little ankle on me when wearing sneakers or flats. For size reference, I find them to be true to size. I’m wearing a 27.

If you want a dramatic look, this could be the top for you.

First of all, the color is vibrant! It’s a really gorgeous deep red. The embroidered flowers are oversized and placed on the shoulders and puffy sleeves, and both the sleeves and the embroidery make quite the statement. This top would also look great with boot cut jeans. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

For a different look, I will style this top with my favorite cream jeans (ON SALE) and my new leopard Mary Jane’s (49% OFF)!

I’m also thrilled to announce that they brought back the adorable denim jacket I showed earlier this year (that is an Avara exclusive).

I’m IN LOVE with this denim jacket. I’m wearing a medium here, but I think the large might be better on me. It has little to no stretch in it, so I need some extra room in the chest and back. It’s the puff and pleated sleeves that I’m completely smitten with. This jacket is absolutely adorable and perfectly feminine.

Y’all know I think a denim jacket is a MUST HAVE, and I love the extra details on this one.
