If you missed my Bachelor post from yesterday, make sure you go back and read it!
But make sure you come right back for what I have for you today!
—————————————————————————————————–
If you have ever doubted my love for you, you won’t after you read this post.
How will I prove my love?
So glad you asked.
I will put on 8 different outfits…..in a row….and take pictures of myself in those outfits…….
with no plans to even leave the house.
That my friends is love.
Still, I didn’t even have mine yet because they didn’t have my size in the store. They were on the way to me. So, I knew I really liked them, but I had no idea how much I truly loved them yet.
Several of you asked:
“I’ve never had distressed denim before? Will I really wear them?”
And even more of you asked:
“Are the jeans really that great? How can they be for only $38?”
Well, check out my collage of Pinterest examples.
They might have holes in them, but they somehow look polished!
Weird, I know.
But true!
Here I am trying my new fav distressed denim on in the dressing room a couple of weeks ago. When I tried them on they weren’t cuffed, and I liked that look! (At that time I had no idea I would like the cuffed look even more.)
And then, my pair finally arrived at my house, and I fell hard.
So, just in case you need further convincing that you NEED this $38 pair of jeans,
DID YOU HEAR ME? A $38 PAIR OF JEANS!!!!!!
I styled them like 37 different ways.
Just for you.
First up, 2 casual ummer looks.
On left: J Crew v-neck, Scarf (Nordstrom, sold out), and nude flats (exact pair HERE)
On right: GAP neon Henley (sold out), sequin bag from Target (HERE), circle TOMS (HERE)
Then I did three fall-ish outfits (1 casual, 2 dressy):
On the left with a dressy shirt and some black patent heels (similar options HERE).
In the middle with a t-shirt, cardigan, and my nude flats (exact pair HERE).
And on the right with a coral button up and my putty wedges (exact pair HERE).
And then two fall/winter looks.
On the left: J Crew White V-neck, Kimberly necklace (HERE),
black patent heels (similar options HERE)
On the right: Grey cowl neck sweater (around 8 yrs old),
Military Jacket (similar HERE at 60% off! only 2 sizes left and awesome!),
and BP wedge boots (HERE , but different color and only 2 sizes left).
SO…
they look good with casual tops, dressy tops, blazers, military jackets…..
and as shoes go…..they also go with heels, flats, and wedges…..
AND DID YOU NOTICE THE LAST PICTURE…
YOU CAN EVEN TUCK THEM NICELY INTO BOOTS!
(Which I think further proves my love. I put on a cowl neck sweater, a jacket, and boots. IN JULY.)
They are SO versatile!
Flats….wedges….heels….and boots!
Dressy and casual!
Plus, don’t let the $38 price tag make you think they aren’t awesome.
Because they are.
They TOTALLY are.
Please tell me my extensive research has convinced you.
Your closet is BEGGING for a pair of distressed jeans.
(And if you haven’t read the reviews of the jeans on the Nordstrom website, it’s worth your time. The reviews are outstanding. My favorite part about the jeans is they have just the right amount of stretch in them. The waistband has a little bit of give to it, which is delightful!) 🙂
Again, click HERE for the jeans.
And
listen……it took everything I had not to label these a MUST HAVE
item.
I even consulted with a couple of my girls (Shay and Andrea). I really really wanted
them to have MUST HAVE label, but I felt like it was too soon to name
another official MUST HAVE. Plus, I know that lots of people are super
picky about their jeans,
so I didn’t know if they would appeal to the
masses.
And, when I label something MUST HAVE, I want it to hold a certain weight.
I was afraid naming something again so soon would diminish the impact that the “MUST HAVE” label would carry in the future.
Okay.
Now I sound like a crazy person.
I am aware that it is possible that I over-think things.
STILL. I THOUGHT YOU SHOULD KNOW.
Must Have status was definitely considered.
(And if I’m being totally honest, I wanted to name THESE nude flats as a MUST HAVE also.
I’m having to learn to practice some serious restraint ladies.)
Also, on this nice July 4th weekend, I thought you might want to know about the Blueberry Pomegranate smoothie from good ol’ McDonald’s.
I almost flew into a fit of rage (not really) the other day when the Micky D’s guy told me they no longer sold the Wild Berry shake. Luckily, he offered this as an alternative.
It was delightful.
Here I am.
Without a stitch of make-up.
About to go to the bank drive-thru one morning.
In my swimsuit cover up.
Even though I wasn’t going swimming.
cuz that’s how i roll
Now, before you go,
Click HERE to be directed to Nordstrom’s new markdowns that just went live.
It is categorized well and very easy to shop.
REMEMBER TO USE THE “NARROW BY” options to streamline your shopping.
For
example, if you click on shoes, put in your shoe size and your price
range. This will take down your options considerably so you won’t be
wasting precious shopping time.
And LOFT is 60% off of LOTS and LOTS of their stuff!

Love you ladies!

now sheaffer, be real with me here… I'm a new mom (and by new I mean my baby is almost one) with some leftover baby weight, only a couple extra pounds, but that baby weight has decided to camp out in the form of a gnarly muffin top, can I still pull off these awesome jeans?!you have me sold but I'm not sure how low rise these jeans are?
Xoxo
needing to replace my mom jeans
Sheaffer says
Sorry I'm just now responding to you..I was out of town all weekend! These jeans are a low rise, but I still think you should try them out. They are super flattering, and you definitely can't beat the price. If they don't work out, just return them! 🙂
Mix and Match Mama says
When I saw you in the swimsuit cover up, I was like, "we didn't go swimming this week???"…and then I read your comment. This is why we're such good friends!
Ok and the jeans…they are seriously perfect and even though they're not labeled Must Have…I think everyone really must have them. The masses appreciate how hard you work to find us the best stuff! Thank you!!
Danielle says
I love the jeans with every single look! I'm checking them out now. You have me convinced 🙂

What size do you recommend ordering if I usually wear a 4 or 6 normally? I don't live close to a Nordstrom's so I will be ordering online. Thanks!

I love your style…you always look so cute!! Could you come to IL & do my shopping for me?!?!?!?! LOL!!
Kellyann Rohr says
You are the best!!!! I ordered the jeans in the size I thought I needed but they seemed a little too big so I went back and ordered them in 2 other sizes so I can compare and find the best fit. My store did not have them in stock so I was unable to try them on before ordering. The reviews were helpful and so are you! I love the fact that Nordstrom's offers free shipping and free returns – no risk shopping. LOVE. I also got a fab pair of nude flats at J Crew for 50% off!!!!I shop with you in mind!

Those jeans have the perfect amount of distressing. And can I just say how much I LOVE the blazer and heels with them. Hot dang, that's awesome!

love all these looks with those cute jeans!!
Tiffany {A Touch of Grace} says
Sheaffer, I totally agree with you on the jeans. They just arrived the other day and I love, love, love them. I ordered them a size bigger thinking "juniors, I'll need a size up," but no. They really do fit true to size so I am going to head to the mall today (oh bummer) and exchange them for my regular size. And if anything I may have to go 2 sizes down (makes me love them even more!) Thank you for continuing to keep us all in style!

Love all your outfits paired with the jeans!!!! You've almost got me convinced!!! 😉 I am super picky about my jeans! Have a great day!
Narci D says
My first thought was the same as Shay's–hey! When did we miss swimming! 2nd, from a full-fledged denim snob–these jeans are perfect, and it is a crime to not buy a pair for $38!
Tracy says
Thank you for recommending those awesome jeans! I got them and love them! They fit so much better than some of the really expensive designer ones I've tried. I also love the BDG ones from Urban Outfitters. They're a great price too!
Jenna {Real Simple Girl} says
Thanks for all your hard work finding and showcasing these great items for us! I think I need to order those jeans! They look great on you, and I've been wanting some distressed denim anyway. I'm hoping my normal size will fit. It seems like they run pretty true to size.

I recently ordered the Vigoss distressed jeans and I wore them for the first time last night for a Fourth of July celebration. THESE. JEANS. ARE. AMAZEBALLS! I am super petite (4' 10"), on the curvy side and have had two wonderful babies (not kind on my petite frame). Jeans are extremely difficult to find that fit. I repeat, these are awesome. They look great as skinnys or rolled up. Work with flats, heels, or tucked into boots (yep, i checked. I laughed when i saw this mornings post). The distressing gives them great detail. The best part is that they have a bit of stretch but they don't stretch out and get "baggy butt" like so many of my other jeans do. Am I the only one with that problem?
Lisa Rogers says
I'm convinced the nude flats need to be moved to the "must have" column. I received mine Wednesday and haven't left the house since without them on. And the jacket came yesterday; it's all you said it was!!! Can't wait to wear it.

Ok, maybe Im cheap, but the lower price tag actually appeals to me more! I enjoyed all your outfit renditions, Sheaffer! Way to be dedicated and thorough! Thats why youre the best 🙂
