Yay, Meredith!  I’m so glad to hear that you love the balm just as much as I do! This balm truly has a cult following.  For those of you that haven’t tried it yet, it’s different than any other cleanser I’ve ever used.

First of all, I apply it to a dry face.  I scoop out a small amount of the balm with dry hands and slather it on to my dry face.  And as I rub it on my face, the heat from my hands changes the balm into more of an oily texture and it just feels incredibly luxurious.  It melts my makeup away, leaves my skin feeling amazing and hydrated, and the light citrus smell is PERFECT.

Not only do I use it to cleanse my face morning and night, I also use it as a type of leave on mask when I’m battling dry skin.  If my skin is dry, normal moisturizer tends to just sit on the surface, and my skin won’t absorb it enough to be properly moisturized.  But when used as a mask, the cleansing balm hydrates my skin like nothing else can, and I cannot recommend it enough.

MY MOM’S FAVORITE COLLEEN ROTHSCHILD PRODUCTS

When I did a post with my mom last month, y’all were FLOORED (for good reason) that my mama is 73 years old!!!

And here’s the truth, she used to not bat an eye at spending serious bucks on skincare.  Like, SERIOUS bucks. MY FAVORITE COLLEEN ROTHSCHILD PRODUCTS

If you haven’t seen it before, you need to check out my Colleen Rothschild Told Me To post! That’s right, I told Colleen my personal skin issues and concerns, and she personally recommended a routine for me!

Let’s wrap things up by talking about my favorite new product:  the Micro-Mineral Resurfacing Scrub.  If you’re like me and don’t do professional microdermabrasion, this is a great alternative for you!  I know it is for me!  Do you see those little pink particles in the product?  They must be magical unicorn horn dust because my skin has never felt so soft.  After 1 use, I walked into the family room and insisted Chris rub my cheek.  He was  seriously impressed too and was like, “WOW.  That IS soft.”

The pink particles feel like really tiny bits of very fine sand, but apparently it’s rose quartz combined with additional mineral nutrients to gently exfoliate and even skin texture.  I mean, MAYBE.  But I’m pretty sure that unicorn dust is in there somewhere.  Right after cleansing with the cleansing balm, I pat my face dry, and then apply a small amount of the scrub in circular motions on my face.  I don’t press hard, but I do lots of circular motions all over, and then I rinse with water and then pat dry again.  And POOF.  Baby soft skin.  Correction…baby soft skin with improved brightness.   Ladies.  It’s soooooooooooooo good.  It’s right up there with the cleansing balm!!!!!

Then I apply the Micro-Mineral Smoothing Toner.  It’s different than any toner I’ve ever used before.  It’s thicker and creamier, almost lotion like.  It further softens and conditions the skin, leaving it balanced and ready for the next step in your skin care routine.
