FALL OUTFITS
This bubble hem jacket is darling, and at under $100 it’s an incredible deal right now! It has a relaxed fit, it’s slouchy and a tad bit oversized, but it’s not sloppy at all because of the bubble hem. I also love the color and the collar. I often wear mediums in jackets, but the small was still a relaxed fit, so I would suggest sizing down.
The dolman sleeve sweater is perfect for early fall. I’m wearing the “deep cherry”, but it comes in 5 color options all great for fall. It’s super soft and the site describes it as having an “elevated slouch” which I totally agree with. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but I probably could have sized down.
These jeans are the Mother fray hem ankle flare jeans. Some Mother jeans are like 4 inches too long on my 5’4″ frame, but not these! They adjusted their proportions for shorter people, and I really liked the fit on these. They’re very soft with some stretch, but not too much that they will sag during the day. For size reference, I’m wearing a 28.

This cardi is such a great red and a fun chunky knit. The ribbing makes it super casual, and I really like the vibe. It also comes in black and ivory. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

I love a pea coat, and this boucle coat is giving pea coat. It’s a very pale pink with double breasted styling, an oversized collar, and a nubby boucle fabric. It’s so good. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but it was definitely too big. I would need a small, so definitely consider sizing down.

Like I said earlier in the week when talking about the chocolate brown crewneck I was highlighting, there’s no better time to buy cashmere than during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. And this cashmere cardigan is yummy. It’s a bit of a splurge, but you will have it and wear it forever. This baby will NEVER go out of style. For size reference, I’m wearing a small here (but you can see me in a medium in the black cardi several pictures down).
These Kut from the Kloth kick flare jeans weren’t even on my radar when looking online, but they immediately caught my eye in store. They’ve got the patch pockets, the raw hem, the ankle length I love, and they are soft and stretchy. The interior portion of the leg also has some cool seam work (that you will see in the next picture).

This next pair of jeans is a pair that I wasn’t able to try on in store, but I follow several influencers that are singing their praises and saying we all need them. Everybody is saying they are a high sell-out risk too, so consider me #influenced. I’m grabbing a pair. (Just saw there are only 3 sizes left. Boo.)
This striped cardi was in my WHAT I’VE GOT MY EYE ON collage, and I love it. It also comes in a navy stripe, but I like this taupe stripe more. It has a relaxed fit and a little bit of a texture to the knit. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

SHOES
I love a Mary Jane flat. I really love the color of this pair (taupe suede), I love the perforations, and I love the buckle. Oh, AND I LOVE THE COMFORT. I’ll be wearing these all fall long with my ankle jeans (seen in the picture directly above). True to size for me.
These sneakers were one of the very first things I grabbed this year. This is the “orchid fade” color combo, and I know I’m going to wear the heck out of them. In addition to loving the color, I’m a HUGE fan of the bungee cord laces. I really like the ability to slip my sneakers on and off without having to tie them. These are light as a feather and incredibly comfortable. I have a different colorway from last year and I have zero complaints about the style or fit. They’re awesome, and they’ll probably be an early sell out. True to size for me. (DANG! Just saw they only have 1 size left. Keep checking back for returns if you really want these!)

These loafers were perhaps one of the biggest surprises of the sale for me. I don’t even remember seeing these when previewing the sale, but I thought they were super cute as soon as I laid eyes on them. AND THEN I PUT THEM ON. They are incredibly comfortable and really really cute. I got the “bamboo brown”. True to size for me.

Kut kick flare jeans / loafers
In addition to the On Clouds, I also got this pair of street neakers to wear with denim. They are going to be great with my ankle jeans and tees, sweatshirts, and sweaters. They are super comfy and are a perfect neutral with some style.
They are called a “runner sneaker”, but I can guarantee you there will be no running happening. There will just be walking around and looking cute with a bit of a retro vibe. True to size for me. They also come in different options with a black accent and a silver accent.

There wasn’t a great bootie selection at my Nordstrom (I thought a lot of the heels were skinny and weird), but I did think these were very pretty. They come in this chocolate suede or a black leather. I wish they came in some sort of a taupe or neutral suede because that’s what I tend to gravitate towards, but this deep chocolate brown is totally on trend.
I love the buckle, the classic styling, and the heel height. True to size for me.
The rest of these shoes I’m about to highlight are shoes that I tried on and liked a lot. (There are several other shoes I tried on – like these boots in particular – that although I loved the look and initially had them on my favorites list… I thought they were very uncomfortable, so they’re not getting a highlight obviously.)
The Western boots below were very comfortable! Yay!

ACTIVEWEAR
This North Face rain jacket is awesome. I actually liked the white the best, but I got the black because I thought it would be more practical because I know I’ll be wearing it at the ranch a lot (and I feel like the cream would just get too dirty). It has over 150 excellent reviews, so I guess it must have been available last year too. Now I’ll be honest, I’m probably going to cut the little ties off on the bottom because I just think they dangle there strangely. I won’t cinch the jacket in, so there’s really no need for them. For size reference, I’m wearing a small, but I think I would like the extra length a medium would give.

Both of these pieces are new to the Zella line, and I’m totally digging both of them. I think they are meant to be a set (they were hanging together), but if you look close you can see the color difference between the top and the pants (so you’ll need to decide if that will bother you or not).
They’re both incredibly soft and comfy and remind me of Vuori. I’m wearing a medium in the top and a small in the pants.

This just might be my favorite athleisure set I tried on.
The piped half zip pullover is the stuff that pullover dreams are made of. Because for me, a stand-up collar is at the top of my list! It’s a roomy fit with a kangaroo pocket, and the deep blue with the light blue piping is so sporty, and I love it. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium in the top.
The leggings are super stretchy, they’ve got moisture wicking technology, and they’re just so darn cute! The piping really helps make them extra flattering. The 7/8 length always works the best on my build (5’4″ with no torso and long legs for my height). For size reference, I’m wearing a small in the leggings.

These pajamas are 100% cotton and 200% charming. They’re just adorable. I’m in love with the babydoll top with lace trim and the wide leg drawstring pants.

Another splurge item… for the ultimate in luxury… check out this beautiful Barefoot Dreams robe. I actually like the robe more than I like the blardigans in the sale this year. The robe is made of the OG material that I love, where this year’s blardigans are a chunkier knit. And how ’bout those gorgeous scallops!
I’m wearing the XXS/SS in the robe, but I think I might prefer the fit of the S/M.
This Barefoot Dreams lounge set is to die for. DID YOU HEAR ME? IT’S TO DIE FOR. Is it expensive? YES. Is it worth it? ALSO, YES. Last year’s set sold out in most sizes and colors by the end of day 2.
Now I’ll admit, it’s not like you put it on and think “this is the cutest thing I’ve ever had on my body”. But you will think it’s the softest and most comfortable thing you’ve ever had on!!! It’s got the softness of a blardigan, but with lounge set styling. It’s lightweight and INCREDIBLY LUXURIOUS. I’m wearing a small here. I tried the medium to see if I liked the more relaxed fit, and while I did like the fit of the top, the medium pants were too big.
I WILL WANT TO WEAR THIS EVERY SINGLE NIGHT.

The 3-pack will last me until next year’s sale. I get that it’s a total bougie move to wear deodorant that’s this expensive, but I can’t help it. I LOVE IT. I think I told the story about my friend Meagan complimenting how I smelled one day (we were working side by side while volunteering at the Manda Strong Golf Tournament a couple of years ago), and I was like “Thank you, it’s my armpits“. It’s true, y’all. Plus, it not only smells great, it also WORKS.
And really, when you think about it, $72 for armpits that are dry and smell delightful FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR is actually a super deal. 😉
This is a product that I’ve been devoted to for many many years. I added into my routine after reading about it on several blogs and in several “BEST OF” beauty articles. Lots of users compared it to the much more expensive La Mer line, but they said they preferred this product! That was it, I was convinced I needed to try it. I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT IT. Officially it’s a cream that floods skin with moisture for a glowing complexion in a flash. A little goes a long way with this cream, and it’s not greasy, but it is incredibly hydrating. There is a very light rose scent to this cream, and I don’t normally care for rose, but it doesn’t bother me at all. I buy this set during the N Sale every year, and it lasts me all year long.

Another ride or die product for me is the Unseen Sunscreen. This product does an incredible job protecting my skin and keeping new sunspots from creeping up. It goes on like a makeup primer and completely absorbs into my skin immediately. It’s not oily or greasy at all, and I love it. I also like that this set doesn’t include any random products, it’s just the good stuff!
I’m so excited, y’all. I bought this on Wednesday. I saw it while browsing in store on Tuesday and took a picture of it because I know light therapy is all the rage and thought some of y’all might be interested. But then my girlfriend Cassie was talking about it saying how incredible this specific mask is… and then I hopped online to read the reviews… and then I immediately bought it. Because here’s the deal. I’m at the age now where I need alllllllllllll the help with elasticity, firmness, sun damage, and fine lines. And since I don’t do Botox or anything like that, I felt like this is an investment that I could make. There are some reviews about charging difficulties, but from other reviews I’ve read online, I think it might be a bug that they’ve since worked out. Just file this under I’M NOT GETTING ANY YOUNGER.
