Today’s post is one of my favorite posts each and every month. Today I’m going to share your Top 12 picks from March.
Not surprisingly, many of y’alls Top 12 picks are in my top picks for the month as well. All 12 items I’m featuring today are items that I added to my own closet, and because of that, they are items that you will continue to see on the blog (as long as they are in stock). And what’s extra great about this favorites list is that all 12 items are UNDER $100, the majority are under $80, several are under $50, and a couple are even under $30! The picks that made this month’s top list are from Amazon, Nordstrom Aerie, and Colleen Rothschild.
So, what were our favorites for the month? Let’s look and see…
1) cover-up / 2) eyelet blouse / 3) swimsuit / 4) lounge set / 5) raffia earrings / 6) Colleen Rothschild hair mask / 7) Bogg bag / 8) Supergoo0p Unseen Sunscreen / 9) denim shorts / 10) ecru jeans / 11) must have sheets / 12) Havianas flip flops
Here’s how you’ve seen the above on the blog this month…
So much great stuff, y’all.
Here’s my new favorite sweatshirt with my favorite pairs of denim shorts from last year (that they brought back this year)! These are what I affectionately refer to as the toddler denim shorts because they have elastic on the back part of the waistband. ELASTIC! YESSSSSS! I lived in these shorts last summer and will again this summer I’m sure. For size reference, I’m in a medium.

The ecru jeans made it in to the Top 12 again. But hey, I totally get it. They were actually#1 in February, and they were still in the top 3 in March. THEY’RE THAT GOOD.
This particular pair is a perfectly neutral “ecru”, but they come in 3 other color options as well. They are ankle cropped flares with a frayed hem, and I love them so much. They do have the Ab Solution power mesh panels that we all appreciate, and they enable the jeans to be super flattering and super comfy at the same time. I’m wearing my regular size 4.
If you’ve been with me for a while, you know I used to wear the “whisper thin” Madewell v-neck tee all the time. It was a good tee at a good price point, but it wasn’t the best quality because it was pretty thin. This white tee is my new favorite white tee. It’s made of a 100% cotton jersey, the fit is perfect, and it’s not see-through at all. Heads up that is does run small. I’m in a medium, and the fit is actually great for a base layering piece, but I would probably want it a bit looser if I was wearing it on its own.

Here’s the same tee in black. Both the white and the black are perfect closet basics.

How fun is this striped quarter zip! I’m completely smitten with the pink and green stripes, and y’all know I always love a quarter zip. I’m wearing a medium here and it’s quite oversized. I think I would actually prefer the fit of the small. There are 15 striped combos to choose from, so there’s something for everybody.

Tell me this isn’t a perfect outfit to help you transition to warmer temps.

This bright red hoodie also comes in navy and cream, and it’s an awesome option at ONLY $24. WAIT! It’s on sale for ONLY $12!

This pearl button cardigan is just plain sweet. The color combo is so interesting (I love it), and the pearls are such a wonderful touch. I think it looks great all buttoned up like this, but it would also look great with a cami or tee under it. There’s also a blue, green, and cream combo and a brown, rust, and cream combo that I love as well. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

I’m obsessed with the Unseen Sunscreen. This stuff is incredible. It’s velvety in texture and it totally just glides on your skin, even over your makeup. I put this product on every single day. If I’m wearing make-up, I use it as a primer, but I can also reapply it over make-up. It’s one of my very favorite products EVER.
My skin absorbs the Unseen Sunscreen very quickly (like IMMEDIATELY!) and there is NO TRACE of it. It’s not oily or greasy, it gives a matte finish, and it doesn’t leave any white residue behind either. Also, from reading reviews, it seems it’s awesome for people with super sensitive skin. I’m telling you, the product is absolutely incredible.

I named these sheets a MUST HAVE years ago, and I love them even more now than I did then. They are incredibly soft, and they launder beautifully. I have some sets that are several years old, and they still look brand new. They don’t pill at all.
We started out buying 1 set when my friend Cassie kept raving about them, and now every single bed at our home and at the ranch house have them. They are a total steal at 42% OFF! I’m not kidding when I saw just trust me and go ahead and buy them for every single bed in your house. THEY HAVE OVER 300,000 5 STAR REVIEWS, so I’m serious when I saw everybody loves them.

Next up, the hair mask!
quench and shine restorative hair mask
The QUENCH & SHINE RESTORATIVE MASK is a color-safe conditioning treatment to soften, detangle and revive all hair types without weighing your hair down. An ultra-rich blend of Kokum, Shea, Capuacu and Bacuri Butters quenches thirsty strands, enriching hair with nourishment and hydration. Argan and Moringa Oils smooth unruly split-ends and deliver a healthy-looking shine. Improved hair elasticity and strength help reduce frizz and texture, resulting in supremely soft, irresistibly touchable hair. This mask can be used daily as a conditioner or as an intensive weekly treatment.
So before they came out with the conditioner, I would use small amounts of this mask as my daily conditioner. In fact, I loved how my hair felt so much after using it that I was pretty sure I wouldn’t love the conditioner as much, and I would just continue to use this mask as my conditioner.
HOWEVER, I fell in love with conditioner too, and now I use the mask more as an intensive hair treatment. My goal is to use it once a week, but the truth is, I just use it when I have some extra time to spend in the shower. Instead of using just a tiny bit like I used to, I now use a good amount, massage it all over my head, and I like to leave it in for a bit to get the full benefit. I like to leave it in for a minimum of 5 minutes, but a couple of times I’ve even been known to get out of the shower and vacuum the house or something with it in before rinsing it out.
My mom loves the mask too. She absolutely SWEARS by this product and the serum that we’re going to talk about in just a minute.
Here’s my mom’s story with the hair products…. A couple of years ago she started noticing that her hair was “getting old” – her words, not mine. 😉 My mom has always had great hair, but she said it had all of a sudden started to become dry and brittle. WELL. She swears that the mask and the serum completely revitalized her hair.
I called her to hopefully get a couple of quick quotes for today’s post and she went ON AND ON! Haha! I actually asked her “So you really think these products changed your hair too?” And she was all “I KNOW they changed my hair.” 🙂
She told me how before using the products she had noticed a while ago that “a chunk of hair on the left side of her head” had become “extra dull and dry”. She said that she started applying small amounts of the mask to her dry hair at night (specifically just to the patch that was giving her trouble), and when she would wake up in the morning the patch would be more hydrated and more manageable!
She also said that she when she first got the mask that she was using it every single time she washed her hair, but now she doesn’t have to use it nearly as often because her hair is in so much better shape now! She truly feels it has REPAIRED her hair. It doesn’t just LOOK better, but it IS better. It’s healthier!
Just look how thick, rich, and creamy the mask is.
