March Top 12

Today’s post is one of my favorite posts each and every month. Today I’m going to share your Top 12 picks from March.

Not surprisingly, many of y’alls Top 12 picks are in my top picks for the month as well. All but one of the items I’m featuring today are items that I added to my own closet or makeup drawer (or already owned), and because of that they are items that you will continue to see on the blog as long as they are in stock.

The picks that made this month’s top list are from Nordstrom, Amazon, and Walmart. And great news, ALL of items are under $100 and several are under $50. 4 are even under $25! And 3 of this month’s items were in last month’s Top 12 too!

1) double patch jacket / This jacket was in a couple of outfit planning collages earlier in the month, and then I highlighted it on me in styled shots just last week. It became a fast fan favorite!

It’s incredibly lightweight and a perfect spring layer. It comes in black too, but I was drawn to this pretty neutral that’s officially called “seashell beige”. I love the exaggerated collar, the large pockets, and the zipper closure. I’m wearing a medium, but I’m wondering if a small might be an even better fit.

2) embroidered top / This embroidered top is fabulous. The embroidery is gorgeous, I love the black and white combo, and the fit is great with the elastic at the sleeves and waist. This neckline is my favorite, and I think very flattering for those of us that aren’t blessed with long and graceful necks. 🙂 The relaxed and blousy shape makes the top very forgiving. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

I showed it with cream denim a couple of weeks ago, but I think it looks awesome with regular denim too.

3) turquoise layered necklace / This turquoise layered necklace is so pretty and dainty, and the turquoise stone accents really make the piece special. It looks much more expensive than its $28 price tag. And y’all, I’m THRILLED with the return of a long necklace. Don’t get me wrong… I like short, pretty, and dainty necklaces too. But I’ve missed long necklaces! This long link oval necklace will go with so many different outfits.

4) boyfriend wide cuffed jeans / I’m so sad to see these jeans are almost sold out. If your size is still available, grab them!

These are a modern fit with a wider leg and a really large cuff at the bottom. A totally updated look for spring! And you guessed it, they have the Ab’Solution technology. WooHoo! For size reference, I’m wearing a 4.

Warner’s Women’s Easy Does It No Bulge Wire-Free Bra

It’s UNDER $22 in most sizes and colors right now, but I’m not sure how long it will be on sale.

This bra is really great for all day wear as well as lounging at home. It will provide the support you need and the comfort you desire.

It’s got perfectly rounded cups (I don’t enjoy a pointy boob), and the entire thing is stretchy and feels amazing on. Doesn’t it look SO COMFY?

And because of the stretch, the sizing is so forgiving.

6) embroidered sandals / I cannot say enough great things about these embroidered sandals, but I’m sad to report that it looks like this color is sold out in most sizes. Good news though, the black sandals still appear to have quite a bit of stock! They are DARLING, and I think they look very expensive. They are super easy to dress up or down, which makes them quite versatile. The embroidery is perfection, I love the square toe, and I think the cognac color is beautiful. Don’t y’all think that they look super high end? I cannot believe they are $17.

7) white boot cut jeans / I’m in love with these white bootcut jeans, and I have been for over a year now. They are Democracy, so they have the Ab-Solution technology like the Wit and Wisdom jeans we all know and love. They are stretchy, comfy, and incredibly flattering. I think white jeans look so crisp and fresh, and the boot cut styling will make you look and feel taller and thinner that you actually are.

9) cross body bag / This crossbody bag, y’all! It’s got a faux leather strap and trim, and the body reminds me of a thick linen. As one of my readers said after she grabbed it the first time I talked about it, “it looks much more spendy than it is!”. I couldn’t agree more. 🙂

10) heeled sandals / These heeled sandals are such an incredible find. They are simple, pretty, and the cognac color is perfection. True to size for me and under $25! The reviews are excellent.

11) plaid skirt / You just slip this skirt on, and it’s as cute as can be. I hate a skirt with a zipper, but one you can pull on? I’M ALL IN. God bless elastic. It’s 100% cotton and the cutest patchwork plaid that you ever did see. I love the colors, the pattern, the length, the overall fit, AND DON’T FORGET THE ELASTIC WAIST. It’s easy, it’s breezy, and it’s DARLING. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

12) gauzy button up / This gauzy button up is so good. It’s not sheer, it washes beautifully, it’s lightweight and very soft, and it doesn’t require an iron. I mean, WHAT’S NOT TO LOVE! It also comes in classic white, a light blue, and a cornflower blue.

I stuck with my regular size (a medium) and it’s long and quite blousy, but I wanted it to be very blousy. I actually think this top would be great as a cover-up too. If you want it to fit more like a standard button up, you are probably going to want to size down.
