 Random Tidbit #1:
I pinned this picture of Cindy Crawford* awhile back  and I knew that I immediately needed to add a neutral colored  blazer to my closet. 
(*Okay….so this isn’t Cindy Crawford.  Just a gorgeous blogger that totally looks like Cindy Crawford.  You can find her blog HERE.)
 I love how it’s casual and chic at the same time, and I absolutely adore how it is styled with the dark tank, the dark denim jeans, and the gold jewelry.
I’ve been on the lookout for a blazer like this for awhile, and I just haven’t found one that I love…
UNTIL NOW!
 I found THIS blazer at Nordstrom (the picture on the right), and I think it’s PERFECT!
(I highlighted this same blazer last week in a different color but didn’t see there was a neutral color option until today.)

And I thought it was interesting how they had it styled very similarly to the inspiration picture!
 I love the feminine lines of the blazer and how it is rounded off at the bottom.
I think both of those 2 features make the blazer super flattering!
And ladies, we all know that “super flattering” is SUPER important!

I got another reader e-mail this weekend, and I thought I would highlight it!

I’ve been looking around for a new pair of wedges, and I haven’t found any that I love.  I know that you’ve put a lot of wedges on the blog, but they are all kind of “plain”.  I don’t mean that in a bad way, but I’m kind of wanting a wedge with an edge, with some wow factor. Hi Kallie!  Thanks for the question!  I’m not sure if you are wanting more colorful (I know all of the wedges I’ve featured have been like brown or black), or just more hip.  So, I’ve pulled several choices together for you!  Some are a cool shape, some have cool embellishments (like studs), some have cool designs on the wedge, and some are just bright colors.
I hope one of these is edgy enough for you!


 THIS pair is just a regular color, but the snake skin makes it edgy!  They are 50% off!

THIS pair isn’t edgy (they actually look a bit demure), but they are unique.

    Hey Sheaffer! I have that exact outfit pinned myself- in fact I pinned it more than once (I seem to have a tendency to do that- then I know it's REALLY speaking to me!) I too decided that I needed a neutral blazer but I ended up going with winter-white seeing as it's autumn here. Anyhoo, I also assumed it was Cindy Crawford but when I clicked on the picture and went to the source it turns out it is a Cindy Crawford lookalike! Can you imagine being that lucky!!!

    LOVE selfless tanners! I liked the page and I use these things all the time right now with my ivory dresses! I'm getting married in 3 weeks and so a tan is a must for all the cremes and whites i've been wearing to parties and showers 🙂

    I love your blog!!! I could totally use some sunless tanning lotion. I've had 1 too many scares (it only took 1)with the alternative so I'm lathering up on the sunscreen and going self tanner for sure.
