Nordstrom knows how much we all love and adore their store, so they wanted to join in on the fun.
One of you is going to totally hit the shopping jackpot!

I’m highlighting my 5 ABSOLUTE FAVORITES over the last 12 months.

FAVORITE #4: Black Blazer

 I knew the minute I saw this outfit on Pinterest that I wanted to recreate it.
There is just something about a black blazer!
And I LOVE LOVE LOVE how she paired the black blazer with her brown boots!

I was seriously late to the bubble necklace trend, and after wearing it only like twice, I’m pretty much already over it.  That’ll teach  me.  There
are a couple of more outfits I’ve seen on Pinterest with bubble
necklaces that I want to re-create, but then I think I might be done.
You guys.  I loved this outfit.

Even though all of the above items in my outfit have sold out since my original post date, I have found other similar items that would help you recreate the look for yourself.

It has ruched sleeves, and the reviews say it would work well year round.  I like how it’s fitted.
Check out the skinny lapel blazer HERE.
It has rouched sleeves and is actually a tone on tone paisley fabric, so pay close attention to that.
If you’re looking for a simple black blazer, this isn’t the one for you, but if you are looking for one with a little pazazz, this one would be perfect!
I like THIS Michael kors option too.  If you are looking for a more generous fit, this could be your jacket.  There is also a petite option of the MK blazer HERE ,

I tried THIS one on (see below), and I really liked it.  
 It is WAY better in person than it looks online. (It looks too dressy online.)
They only had an x-small left in the store, but I could tell I would have loved it
 had it been the appropriate size.
This would be a perfect addition to your closet if you wanted to have
a classic blazer that would last you for years.  (Remember, mine is 12
years old and I am still wearing it!)

this jacket would look amazing with the jeans, a t-shirt, and a great necklace.

If you notice in my recreation picture, even though I had on a black blazer,

I really embraced the black and brown trend last year, and I can’t wait to wear it again this year with lots of different outfits. It’s soooo much more interesting than just pairing black with black.
I even got a new pair of brown wedge boots this year and look forward to mixing them with
black all fall and winter long.

closet every morning and can’t wait until fall so I can bust them out.  I
promise you that the first day it dips under 70 degrees I’m gonna throw
these babies on.
The wedge is sooooooo comfortable.
I love the height it gives me without the dressier look of an actual heel.
And the detail on the back?  Swoon.

I got my leggings at a boutique in downtown McKinney, but I think that THESE
are VERY similar to mine.  Mine actually feel like leotard
material (yes, I realize how crazy that sounds) than they do denim or
even actual leggings.  I love them.
 If you aren’t a fan, THESE HUE leggings are a great option, and they have stellar reviews.
I bought a grey pair of HUE leggings last year and absolutely fell in love with them!

    Such a fun celebration week! You do a great job showcasing plus size and petite clothes along with regular ones, but how about any long length options for us tall girls? Blazers are my nemesis – never the right proportions on my 5'11" frame (and I refuse to pay $400 for a tall JCrew one). The Vigoss jeans are sadly way too short on me too 🙁 Keep up the great work, though! I love your blog! Lots of fun inspiration!

    This morning as I took my WIWW pic and looked in to the camera lens, I thought about your posts. For all these months of reading your blog it has kind of irritated me that you look at the phone/camera instead of the lens.     I love black and brown together. I'm not sure what the controversy was over this color combination back in the day, but I've always found it beautiful! I just purchased a navy schoolboy blazer from J.Crew when they went on sale and I love it. I am keeping my eyes out for their next sale to purchase in black.
