It’s Friday, so y’all know what that means! It’s time to link up with Erika and Andrea to let everybody know what some of my favorite things are right now.

Today is a Friday Favorites, Shopping with Sheaffer Edition!
I’ve been getting lots of requests from y’all for an old school Nordstrom post, so that is what you’re getting today!!! Wednesday’s post had tons of Walmart items, and I’ve featured lots of Amazon this month as well… but today is all about Nordies!
Let’s! Get! Started!
I thought we would kick things off today with a bang.
I’m in love with this dress.
It’s a lightweight cotton poplin with a split neck, a flutter sleeve, a DARLING faux wrap skirt with a ruffle, and the cutest little sash you tie at the waist. It’s such a great dress. It’s got pockets too! This is a dress that can be worn from spring till early fall, and it would work for so many different types of occasions. You just pull it over your head, which I much prefer to a dress that has to zip up the back or heaven forbid on the side. It runs a bit big, but I’m still in a medium (which is normal for me for dresses like this). A small would be too tight in the chest for me, so I stuck with the medium.

I wanted to show it dressed down a bit too, so I threw on a denim jacket, some faux leather flips flops, and a super cute pom pom straw tote. I want to remind you that the bag is under $40 and the faux leather flip flops are under $10!

Okay…..LOOK AT THESE PANTS, Y’ALL!!!
I mean, they are DARLING.
They caught my eye online, and they were in my cart and on their way to me before I even knew what was happening.
They’ve got an elastic waistband, and they are lightweight and soft with a flowy fit. All that’s great, but what I really fell in love with were the colors and the floral pattern. For size reference, I did size up to a 6 based on reader reviews that said they run tight in the waist (because my tummy is definitely my problem area). If your tummy isn’t your problem area, I would suggest sticking to your regular size.
If you love these pants as much as I do, you should probably click HERE to check out everything else that Petal and Pup has to offer.

Not interested in flowy pants? Look at this adorable tiered skirt!
There’s a wide smocked waist, a tiered ruffle fit, and I’m in love with the olive dot print. The site suggested to size down, so I got a small and am very glad I did. I would definitely recommend sizing down.

If you love the color and pattern of the first dress, but you don’t need a dress, look how great this top is!!! It’s the same lightweight cotton poplin, but the sleeves have a double ruffle with some tiny little trim. It runs large too, but I again stuck with my regular medium to have enough room in the chest. I would suggest sizing down if you don’t have a large chest.

Let’s talk about the jeans. They are from our beloved Wit and Wisdom and have the Ab-Solution technology that we all know and love. They’ve got a straight leg and a great little cuff that hits just a little above the ankle. They are the perfect summer jeans. I’m wearing my regular size 4, but size down if between sizes.

The top is super cute with shorts too.

These denim shorts are awesome! They’re pricey, but I think they’re worth it. They are a great length at 4 1/2″, which I now feel is the perfect length on me. I still wear shorter shorts, but these are actually very appropriate for my advanced age. 🙂 They don’t have a ton of stretch in them, but they are still very comfortable. I did size up 1.

Okay, I’ve got another FABULOUS dress that I’m completely in love with.
I grabbed this dress at Nordstrom HERE, and it’s still available at Nordstrom in a great neutral color..
But if you want this dress in the black or the blue (that you’ll see next), you’ll need to grab it HERE where it seems to be fully stocked.
It’s 100% linen, lightweight, and has the cutest cut and fit. You can easily dress it up with heels and accessories like you see here.

But it’s also cute with a casual bag and sandals. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium in the dress.

And here it is in a STUNNING blue.

This next dress is from Farm Rio, and you know how I love Farm Rio.
Sadly, the fit on this one is a bit off for me. The size small was too tight in the chest, but the size medium is too big everywhere else.
It comes with a spaghetti strapped slip, so you don’t have to worry about it being see thru. I think the papaya pattern is precious, and I’m sooo sad it doesn’t work for me because I really love it. It’s just my style!

This lace shirtdress is different than anything else I have in my closet. It’s fully lined (except for the sleeves, which I love). The lace is a bit heavier than I was anticipating, but I still really love the dress. It buttons up, but the buttons are hidden for an elevated look. The pale pink color is so lovely. For size reference, I’m wearing a 6.

This little tiered skirt has 3 ruffles and a cute little flouncy fit. I will say this, if you are over 5’4″, this is not the skirt for you, because it is definitely short. I happen to like short, but I think this skirt is probably best suited for pretty petite ladies. I’m wearing a medium.

Here’s the same skirt in black.

And I’m wrapping up today’s post with these Ab-Solution Cut Off Denim Shorts. They are perfect if you want a pair of white shorts, but you are searching for a longer pair.
Keep it comfy for white-shorts season in this cuffed pair designed to mold and hold.
- 5″ inseam; 21″ leg opening; 8 1/2″ front rise; 14″ back rise (size 4)
- 51% cotton, 24% polyester, 22% lyocell, 3% spandex
Very stretchy, very comfy, and cute as can be. I’m wearing my regular size 4.

So I hope that all of you Nordstrom lovers got a good Nordstrom fix today! I certainly found several pieces that I love, and I’m excited to add several of them to my own closet! Can you guess which items I kept?
Before you go, I have a review of this week’s posts in case you missed them…
On Monday’s post So Nice, I Bought It Twice I highlighted a couple of new pieces that I bought in more than 1 color… like this cardigan.
This short sleeve cardigan has a great fit, little pleats at the shoulder, and is super soft. It’s a great piece to wear just buttoned up on its own or to layer over a tee or sundress. I’m wearing a medium.
And speaking of buying things twice, I felt like I need this dress in another color too (which you ended up seeing on Wednesday’s post).
I’m absolutely smitten with it. It’s SASSY. It also happens to be very well made and has great reviews.
It’s 97% cotton with 3% spandex, so it has the perfect amount of stretch in it. It’s a lightweight poplin that I’m in love with. It’s got a great plunging v neckline (but it’s not too revealing), and the tiered hem and pleating are perfection. AND IT HAS POCKETS! This feels very much like a J Crew or Anthropologie dress to me. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
Now get this, this dress is UNDER $30.
It also comes in a solid pink as well as a black floral, a blue floral, and a green floral. I love it so much that I was going to order the blue floral too, but it’s now sold out in my size. So now I’m thinking the black and white or the pink. Both would look great with a white cardi, should I decide to grab a 3rd cardi. 🙂

On What’s Up Wednesday I shared lots of different things, including some throwback picks of me.
I think I was in 1st grade here. I’m dying because I barely have any teeth, and it looks like I barely have any hair either! 🙂 I actually had a lot of hair, it was just pulled back in barrettes because EIGHTIES, Y’ALL. I’m also dying because my love of a stripes and a ruffle sleeve apparently runs deep.
If you want to see a handful more, head to the post! 🙂
That’s all for today, y’all! Have a wonderful weekend with your people!
