So Nice, I Bought It Twice — Sheaffer Told Me To

So if you know me or if you’ve followed this blog for a while, you know that if I like something (like reallllllllllly like something), I will probably buy it in more than 1 color. This is especially true if I feel like what I love is a good deal. Then it becomes more of a “Why in the world wouldn’t I buy 2?” question.

Such is the case with a cardigan and a top I have recently fallen in love with.

First up, the cardigan.

I’ve actually already shown you this cardigan in several outfit planning collages as well as on me styled with some denim shorts. Well, today you are going to see it yet again. Because yes, I love it just that much.

I pretty much always love a short sleeve cardigan, but this one is extra cute. It’s got nautical vibes, and it’s super festive with the blue and white stripes and the red accents. Imagine it with white jeans!

It also comes in a solid red (as you’re about to see), brown, black, white, and navy.

For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

Above I styled the cardigan with one of my designer bags, but here I’ve upped the fun factor with a whimsical straw tote.

But seriously, this cardi is fabulous.

In fact, it’s so fabulous that I decided to grab it in red too. BECAUSE WHY WOULDN’T I.

It’s only $22, and I love it, so it just made sense to grab it in a 2nd color. If we’re being honest, I feel like I need it in white too.

Let’s take a brief moment to talk about my $9 barely there flip flops. You’re looking at soft faux leather straps, a cushioned footbed, and they’ve got a flexible non-skid sole. It’s hard to tell in this picture, but in real life, the skinny straps make them look very chic. They come in black too, so grabbing two for under $20 just kinda makes sense. Right?

And it’s not just great with denim, it’s also a perfect choice to layer on top of a dress.

Can you think of any dresses you already have in your closet that would be great with a short sleeve cardi on top? I know I have several.

And speaking of buying things twice, I feel like I need this dress in another color too.

I’m absolutely smitten with it. It’s SASSY. It also happens to be very well made and has great reviews.

It’s 97% cotton with 3% spandex, so it has the perfect amount of stretch in it. It’s a lightweight poplin that I’m in love with. It’s got a great plunging v neckline (but it’s not too revealing), and the tiered hem and pleating are perfection. AND IT HAS POCKETS! This feels very much like a J Crew or Anthropologie dress to me. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

Now get this, this dress is UNDER $30.

It also comes in a solid pink as well as a black floral, a blue floral, and a green floral. I love it so much that I was going to order the blue floral too, but it’s now sold out in my size. So now I’m thinking the black and white or the pink. Both would look great with a white cardi, should I decide to grab a 3rd cardi. 🙂

Next up, this square neck top!

The square neckline, the exaggerated flutter sleeves, a very relaxed fit, AND THIS PATTERN. I love it all. For size reference, it runs on the big side, so I sized down to a small.

You know what else I love about this top? The price tag. It’s also a total steal at $22.

And at $22, wouldn’t you buy a blouse in a 2nd color if you loved it?

And how fabulous are these strappy sandals? They’re on sale for under $18, so I imagine some of you might buy these in a 2nd color too. They also come in a neutral and a hot pink.
