It’s Friday, so y’all know what that means! It’s time to link up with Erika, Andrea, and Narci to let everybody know what some of my favorite things are right now!
Easter weekend was definitely a favorite, and we had a wonderful time celebrating with family. This is Carter with my sister’s little guy Brody, and these two love each other big. But I’ll say this, if you haven’t seen the confetti egg video on my instagam, go check it out HERE. #confettieggfail #ouch
Don’t worry, the little guy is okay. My sister joked that he started walking around in circles that night, but now he’s as good as new. 😉
And a year cannot go by without me posting this little bunny. #holdme

I received lots of great feedback from my mom’s skincare review, and I’m so happy it was a favorite of y’alls! I’ve been in contact with Shelby at Colleen Rothschild, and I’ve shared some of the glowing reviews I’ve already received from a number of readers with her. They are so thrilled that you ladies are loving the products that they’ve offered to reinstate the 20% OFF code (STMT20) for the weekend!
If you want to take advantage of the code, but don’t know where to start…click HERE for my mom’s post where she gives really in depth reviews of her favorite products.
And y’all. Not only did they reinstate the 20% OFF deal with the code STMT20, but there’s another deal going on right now that you can benefit from at the same time! Today through Sunday, they are giving away two free deluxe samples of the Radiant Cleansing Balm and the Sheer Renewal Cream with any $75 purchase. This is an AWESOME deal! You can get 20% OFF, and if you spend $75 you can also get the 2 deluxe samples!
Also, this next product is already on sale (so you can’t use the 20% OFF code on top of the sale price), but I received two e-mails from readers about this specific product grouping: The Discovery Kit. People are loving it, and it’s a really great deal.
Here’s one of the reader comments: Sheaffer!! I bought the discovery kit and in TWO days my very broken out skin is almost completely clear! I just ordered 2 more products to try. I had previously used the clay detox mask and duel enzyme polish so I think the combo of all 6 products in the kit working together is what did the trick! Thank you to you and your mom for putting together this great review! – Christina
Thank you so much for the comment, Christina! Click HERE for Discovery Collection if you’re interested.
And these are the samples you’ll receive with a $75 order (no code needed)! Yipee for great deals and great skin!

I’ve been on a dress hunt lately because of several events I have coming up, so over the next couple of weeks I will be showing you most of the ones that I’ve ordered…unless they are terrible. Because there have been some terrible ones. (Heck, maybe I’ll even show those too for a laugh!) Even if they don’t work for me, they might work for some of y’all!
This first one isn’t a dress, it’s a fun romper. Now, it’s pretty short, so only try it if you are okay with showing a little leg. For size reference, I think this runs small. When putting the small romper on, I pulled it up over my hips, but I could only get 1 of my arms in a sleeve. Ha! The medium fit much better and I liked the blousiness of the top.
I didn’t style it for this picture (since I was just trying to decide if I wanted it for my event), but I’m thinking some fun bright earrings and THIS clutch.
Look at the clutch. How cute would it be with the romper? Let’s be honest, it would be cute with pretty much anything. For example, a white flutter sleeve sundress (OMG at the cuteness!), a maxi with a denim jacket, a little black dress (this one is under $50 with excellent reviews), and the list goes on. I have the clutch in a bright blue, but it sold out in a hot minute. I think I might like this citron even more, but I’ll be carrying the blue since it’s already in my closet. I think this citron one just became available yesterday. It definitely wasn’t online over the weekend when I was making the clutch collage for Monday’s post.
Here’s another dress I tried, but this one (although gorgeous lace and a great fit) wasn’t quite what I was looking for. I thought it was a little too sweet for my event, but it’s a really great dress and one that might be just what you need. I’m wearing a 6P, and I often wear that size in dresses, so I would say it’s true to size.

New to Sale items are always a favorite…I crossed out the items that are already sold out…fingers crossed for good stock in the remaining items.
basket weave clutch / gorjana necklace / gorjana earrings / teardrop earrings sold out / gratitude necklace / kate spade i phone case / cross body bag / oval drop earrings / pave open ring / turquoise necklace

So not only have I been on a dress hunt lately, so have many of you ladies. I’ve been getting quite a few requests for dress recommendations! I know most of you are looking for dressy dresses….but while hopping around online last week, I noticed that two of my favorite casual dresses from last year are back!
THIS dress is available again in black, as well as a beautiful royal blue and pretty coral! This maxi is perfect for those of us that aren’t blessed with height. So many maxi dresses are too long for my 5’4″ frame, but the high-low hem of this one makes it perfect for us shorter gals. And I like how the hem shows off the shoes!
high-low maxi dress / MUST HAVE jacket / UGG t-strap wedges / earrings / necklace sold out :(, but other turquoise necklace found HERE
This knit shift dress isn’t back in the navy stripe, but it is back in black, blue, a black and white stripe, and my favorite…the red and navy stripe (SO CUTE!)! It’s the perfect thing to throw on when you want to look put together, but also be insanely comfortable. I got a petite small in the dress. If over 5’4″, I would recommend the regular sizing. I also suggest sizing down a 1/2 size in the shoreline converse.
dress / wooden tassel necklace / similar cross body from same maker/chunky stud earrings / White Shoreline Converse / enamel bracelet / sunglasses
Get The Look For Yourself Here:
There’s also a terry one with lace that’s ON SALE HERE (comes in a soft grey with lace too)! This is so stinkin’ cute, and at 40% OFF, it’s an amazing deal!

This dress is from this year….and I’ve already shown it to you once….but it’s now a DEFINITE FAVORITE. I wore it Easter Sunday and got lots of compliments! And here’s the best thing about it…it’s INSANELY comfortable. Like it legit feels like you are just wearing a long t-shirt around the house. Just another dress option for those of you that are looking!
striped dress / earrings (type in “Tala” ) / long necklace (type in “Dalilah” ) / similar wedges
wrap bracelet (type in “gilded wrap bracelet) / druzy bracelet

My Mother’s Day Gift Ideas post on Wednesday was a big favorite for me. I highlighted tons of ideas, so I hope it helped a lot of y’all out. One of my recommendations (of course) was a blardigan. I got an e-mail asking me what the heck a blardigan was. And this was the moment I realized I had failed some of you.
So although I’ve been talking about the blardigan for over 3 years now (and some of you have heard the word 74,000 times)…I haven’t really talked about it since Christmas….and we have a lot of new friends that have started reading/following since then.
SOOOOOO….I feel like it’s BLARDIGAN PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT TIME.
“Blardigan” is a word I made up when I first found this little piece of heaven, because it’s part BLanket part cARDIGAN. See? BLARDIGAN!
If you don’t have a blardigan or a baby blardigan, GET ONE. They are pricey, but you will wear it every dang day. And each time you wear it (that is me below wearing it earlier this week after getting home) you will feel cozy and happy. And I know this sounds dramatic, but it will improve your quality of life. And I’m not even kidding. You will look forward to putting it on each and every day. If you don’t have one, I realize you are probably thinking I’m a little nutso right now. If you do have one, you totally get it.
If you have one, please leave a comment. And feel free to say if I’m crazy. Also feel free to say if you feel it’s improved your quality of life as well.#admitit #ittotallyhas
If you’re a mom and don’t have one, ASK FOR IT. (It’s a WONDERFUL gift for new moms!) If you are buying for your mom or mother in law and she doesn’t have one, GET HER ONE. I promise it’s the BEST GIFT EVER. Click HERE to see the facebook post from yesterday morning where I asked people to sound off about their feelings for the blardigan….when I last checked it had over 60 comments of people professing their love!
Concerning both the baby blardigan(what I’m wearing below) and the original, I like both for different reasons. When at home, if I want to really wrap up, I prefer the blardigan. If I leave the house in one, I prefer the baby blardigan. There’s not as much fabric and it has pockets!!!!!!
Here are just a couple of comments on that post:
Love my blardigans…2 originals that I wear everyday. And a baby in Navy. Love the color you have too…might have to look into that. Also, definitely a splurge but I got my second blardigan during the anniversary sale! So worth it! Side note: I text people about my blardigan so much my phone automatically knows what I’m talking about now and it comes right up!! ???? it’s totally a real word! – Katie
I now have 2 blardigans, one baby blardigan, and the robe. I love them so much! They are great for traveling. I wear the original with leggings and the baby with jeans. I wear both with shorts. 🙂 When my children are sick they reach for my originals, they are super comforting. I’ve given 2 as gifts and I can totally see myself owning every single color eventually! ☺-Season
I have two blardigans. A gray one in small/medium and a black one in large/extra large. I recently wore the black one on the plane when traveling. It’s like having your own super soft blanket on the plane. I bought both of my daughters their own for Christmas last year. Love the softness and comfort of my blardigans! – Kathleen
Absolutely love my blardigan! I finally bought one for myself after gifting my mom and my mother-in-law with them! I agree, you’re not nutso Sheaffer, your are speaking the truth! 🙂 – Melissa
See! I’m not nuts! 🙂

One more thing before you go. At the end of the Mother’s Day Gift Guide post, I posted a picture of THIS bag as a luxury item to give or receive. And then I saw the bag (and other items in the same pattern) at the mall this week. They are expensive, but DANG THEY’RE CUTE!!!!!! Click HERE for the large tote. I can’t find the other pieces online. But y’all, when I was looking, I saw THIS TB embroidered bag. At $360 (on sale!) it’s not for everybody, but it’s definitely a special bag.
That’s it for today, ladies! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend with your people!!!
Erika Slaughter says
That video with Carter and Brody had me LOLing!! I’m so glad you caught it on video. That romper is CUH-UTE on you!!
Shay Shull says
Oh Carter and Brody!!! How sweet are they?!
Naomi says
Love this romper! The lace- up neckline is cute and the length is appropriate for those of us beyond the teen years. This one looks very wearable to me. And you are right, the clutch would look fabulous with it. I’m dying over the citron one! And the TB tote design is beyond gorgeous ????
Narci says
Baby Bunny Carter is pretty much the cutest thing ever!! And, you were precious on Easter! Love that Dalilah necklace and gilded patch bracelet!!
Christina says
Everything you say about the blardigan is true! Two anniversary sales ago I bought the original blardigan and during the last sale the baby. I set an alarm to wake up during the night as soon as the sale went live to make sure I got one! It’s that good! I also find the baby blardigan easier to wear out of the house. Thank you for featuring my comment on the Discovery Kit. Everything I said is so true! It’s been about a week now and my skin looks amazing. I still have some spots left from old blemishes but I feel certain they will fade. And I’m now down to just a few little “bumps” under the skin that’s still congested but a HUGE improvement from cheeks and jawline covered just a week ago. I think the kit would make a nice Mother’s Day gift as well. Last thing, that clutch is too cute! That color is a new “in color” for a brand of craft supplies that I buy so it’s safe to say we will be seeing a lot of that color! Have a nice weekend!
Jessie Edwards says
Hi Sheaffer! I wanted to ask you about the UGG wedges—how would you rate them? I’m also curious as to the height….are they really tall? Thank you!! 🙂
Sheaffer says
Hi, Jessie! Mine are last year’s version, so I’m not sure how they compare. Mine from last year are extremely comfortable, and not to high. They are very easy to walk in! xoxo, Sheaffer 🙂
cheryl says
YES and TOTALLY on the blardigans!!!! I have given my mom one, my mother in law one and my sister one. They all totally agree that they are the BEST. My friends have them as well. I have a black baby blardigan and a gray regular one. I’ve even thought of buying more…. I totally have a blardigan problem!
April Parrish says
That video…too funny!
Love that black romper! And yes everyone should own at least one Blardigan!!! Love all of mine. You know your obsessed when you have your daughter take her Senior picture on the beach wearing a blardigan!!! Yep!!! Lol!!!
Have a great weekend!!
Sarah says
The STMT20 code does not work with the CR Discovery Kit, just FYI…love your blog!!
Sheaffer says
Hi, Sarah! The code doesn’t apply to items already on sale! So sorry! Xoxo, Sheaffer
Carol says
You are NOT crazy! I have 1 blardigan, 2 baby blardigans and the cozy chic wrap. They are so cozy I wear them at least 3-4 times a week (probably more????). I especially love them when traveling. I wear a baby blardigan on the plane and also bring the wrap to use as a blanket or a pillow. They are all definitely MUST HAVES!
Alexis deZayas says
I have a baby blardigan, blardigan pants and just got blardigan shorts for Easter! Needless to say, I’m a fan 🙂 (Not sure why I still refer to their other items as blardigans but it’s just stuck with me now??)
Bernadine says
Do you know if the Colleen Rothschild products are available in South Africa?
Sheaffer says
I don’t believe so, Bernadine. So sorry! 🙁
LeAnn says
Hi, Sheaffer! What size did you get the hi-lo dress in? It’s super cute!
Also, did you try on any of the dresses that your sister showed us in the other post? Thanks!
Sheaffer says
Hi, LeAnn! It’s a small. No, I haven’t tried on any of her dresses. So sorry! 🙁
