Friday Favorites and a Sale Code!

This package I received was totally a surprise and definitely a favorite this week!  My friend Sam from Erin Condren sent me a box filled with Erin Condren goodies!!!!  I’ve been using their planners for about 4 years now, couldn’t imagine not using them, and I get seriously giddy when my new one arrives!!!  You can choose between TONS of different custom cover designs and customize it with your name or your business name.  There are even some covers that allow you to customize with personal photos if you wish.

A couple of Fridays ago I told y’all how Modcloth reached out and asked me to check out their swimwear.  I put a collage together of some one pieces and tankinis that caught my eye from several retailers (click HERE to see the collage), and I told y’all I had ordered #3 from the collage for myself.  Well, it came in, and I love it!  LOOK! HOW! CUTE! #Godblessrouching I also ordered this crocheted cover up (it’s only $39.99!), and it’s everything a cover up should be.

I’ll talk more about SuperGoop in a future post, but I’m a big believer in their products.  This year they launched their sunscreen mousse (I’m a total fan and so is Carter).   The refresh setting mist is a product I fell in love with last year, but they were able to correct some packaging issues, and this new bottle doesn’t clog anymore!!!!  Yay!

Doesn’t this pic get you all sorts of ready for summer?  I’ll be throwing all my sunscreens, cell phone, and lip gloss into the cute toucan pouch and throwing it in my beach bag when at the pool.  And I’m still in love with my $12 sunglasses.

And I thought y’all might want to see me in it.  I’m not quite ready to show y’all a full on swimsuit pic yet.  I tried.  I really did.  But it’s just not happenin’ yet, people.  I’m wearing it under the cover up, so use your imaginations.  😉

I love how the swimsuit has a large halter tie around the neck.  It’s very Gidget-esque, if you know what I mean!  If you don’t know what I mean, just move along.  🙂  The cover up is even cuter in person.

I have posts of mine that are favorites…and in the last couple of weeks THIS one (love the bow back poplin top and peplum tees) and THIS one (still dying over the navy eyelet top and the bell sleeve tee) are definitely favorites.  They give you great idea for spring and summer outfits, and they highlight some really fabulous tops!

Chris’s sister came in to town for a little visit, and I really enjoyed getting to snuggle this little butterball!  I mean, LOOK AT THAT FACE!!!

Speaking of cute faces…this kid looks so proud here because he had just made an EPIC catch of a really high pop fly at pitcher this past Wednesday.  He ran and then lunged forward to get it, he fell, and HE KEPT THE BALL IN HIS GLOVE.  And I lost my mind yelling again.

He was in a pretty good slump for a good part of the season, so it’s especially sweet now when he gets a good hit or makes a great play!  I’m so proud of this kid and his desire to better his skills.  And listen to this, last night after the game he told me that the other team’s coach told him that he had good manners!  I’m just as proud of those manners as I am of the amazing catch!  😉

And y’all….here’s another idea that the Accessory Concierge ladies gave me! They told me it would work great as a swimsuit cover up.  I came up with 3 different ways it would be darling as a cover up!  Just pretend I’m in a swimsuit.  And as long as you’re pretending, go ahead and pretend that I have a six pack and perky boobies.

Tying this scarf into these 3 different styles was so easy! And I’m sorry, but this is ADORABLE.  #ifidosaysomyself

And since we are on the pom pom train right now, look at the pom pom tassel !  It’s SO MUCH FUN on beach bags, straw totes,  Barrington totes or even a cognac tote like this!
