Summer Embroidered Top

This embroidered baby doll top is a new favorite for sure!  Look how fun and flattering it is!

I’m wearing a small, and it has plenty of room and is perfectly swingy.  I went with the black, but it comes in 3 other great colors.  I like it worn casually here with shorts and flat sandals.  (FYI:  I have a post coming up with ModCloth next week, but I’ve incorporated some of their pieces into today’s outfits to give you a little preview.  In the picture below, the strappy gold sandals were sent to me as part of the collab!  I love the gold and they are super affordable at $35, but I wish I would have sized up a 1/2.)

I love the top casually like above, but it also looks great dressed up a bit with white jeans and wedges!  These are my favorite white jeans (they have fantastic reviews) and they are 40% OFF!  They are true to size (I’m wearing a 27), but size down if between sizes.

Summer Outfits from The Find

Last week on facebook I told you that I was excited to start working with the online store The Find.  Well, Emily (the founder) sent me a box of stuff that arrived on Saturday, and I wore this dress to church the next morning!

It’s comfy, true to size (I’m wearing a small), is totally figure flattering, AND IT HAS POCKETS.  #andilovepockets   I didn’t wear a slip with it this past weekend, but I felt like it might be a bit sheer in direct sunlight, so I will wear a half slip with it from now on.  (My 1/2 slip is reallllllllllly old, but this one is very similar.)

And look at this embroidered off the shoulder dress!  This one is a total show stopper.  The embroidery is absolutely gorgeous, and I love the scalloped hem and sleeves.  Oh, and it’s fully lined!  This dress is ONLY $49, but it looks much more expensive.  I love it paired with the turquoise earrings and the sunshine yellow clutch.

Accessory Concierge Sale Early Access

So, in honor of the sale, I wanted to show y’all some new pieces that the gals at A.C. were kind enough to send me in several different outfits.  I did lots of outfit planning this week, and then next week you will get to see me in these outfits!

This chiquita necklace is SO MUCH FUN.  Colorful, light weight, and it screams summer.  I’m wearing it here with a solid color tee (click HERE if you want to see me in the tee and the shorts) and my favorite cut offs.  And look how cute it makes an otherwise simple outfit!  You can spiff up just about all of your summer outfits with this necklace.

The 3 products in the picture are really helping me up my summer game:  1)  I bought the red lipstick in preparation for my Get Festive for the 4th post, and I was told it was the perfect red for so many different skin tones.  I’m LOVING it (“Ruby Woo” is the shade), and I feel like it totally changes my look for certain outfits.  2)  I don’t remember where I saw the body blur, but I use it for days that I need some color and don’t have time to use self tanner.  It’s kind of like a body tint I guess, but the color can be immediately washed off.  The only time it’s ever rubbed off on my clothes was when I threw on some white jeans to grab a picture for the blog.  In the pictures above with the embroidered top, I was seriously pale.  But I put on the body blur, let it dry, and then put on some of the 3) coconut body glow on top….AND MAGIC!  Scroll up to see how tan my legs look in the picture above.

The second I saw this SUMMER FRIDAYS tee online, I knew I had to have it!  I sized up to a medium for a relaxed fit, but if you don’t have a larger chest, you can totally stick with your regular size.

If you see me on any Friday this summer, I can pretty much guarantee I’ll be wearing this baby. #summerfridayuniform  To show you the versatility of this tee, I’ve already planned 3 separate outfits with it.

I switched out the rose gold slides for the red patent flip flops (size up a 1/2 in both) and went with a wooden statement earring! I know it’s hard to believe, but these earrings really are incredibly light.  Remember, I’m wearing them above in the side by side collage with the embroidered top if you want to see the size on me.

This next top looks like it was made for these earrings.  It’s a soft cotton and is so incredibly comfortable.  I have a small, and I love the baby doll fit, but I’m actually going to order an x-small to see if I like it less blousy.  The small is VERY generous sizing, so I think most people are probably going to want to size down.

Okay, last flat lay of the day.  This dress is PERFECT for vacation, and the tassel earrings look great with it.  It’s not lined, but it’s not see thru either.  This would absolutely be a great dress to throw on and wear to dinner on vacation or even just to the pool.  I have the size 6 (which says it fits like a US 2-4).

And because I’m obsessed with the earrings, I wore them again while running around town yesterday.

And I thought they really kicked up the cute factor of my basic tee and cut offs!  And let’s be honest, my rose gold slides  didn’t hurt either (size up a 1/2).

GREAT SALES are of course always a favorite around here.

My adorable striped pajamas just went 50% OFF, making them only $34.75 for the set! They are very well made and just as cute as can be. They also come in a royal blue stripe and a navy blue stripe. Reader Favorites – Must-Have Wedges!

One of my favorite things is when I receive e-mails and messages from y’all.  I especially love it when I hear from readers that they have other friends and family that read the blog…and that they all enjoy it together!  I think that’s so much fun when people connect because of the blog!
