Friday Favorites

It’s Friday, so y’all know what that means! It’s time to link up with Erika, Andrea, and Narci to let everybody know what some of my favorite things are right now!

Heading up my favorites list today is my new monogrammed camo tote!  I had it monogrammed with a dark and light pink stripe, AND I’M OBSESSED.  It’s the Savannah tote, it has a zipper, it has lots of interior pockets (1 zippered pocket, 2 open pockets, and 1 deep pocket on each side that can hold a water bottle), and yes… it can even hold my laptop!  And don’t worry, if you don’t like camo, you can design your own tote by choosing from TONS of different patterns and TONS of different monogrammed stripe combos.  It’s SO MUCH FUN.  If you haven’t ever been to the site, take a minute to go play around!

I’m also wearing my camo wedge sneakers from last year that they brought back this year!  Now, I wouldn’t normally double down on camo, but IT JUST FELT RIGHT.   So I went for it.  #andiwoulddoitagain   I would recommend sizing down a 1/2 size in the sneakers.  Some readers have said that the site says to size up, but I definitely sized down.  I normally wear a 6 1/2, and I got the 6s.   And if camo isn’t for you, you should totally get a neutral!  The “Rock Perf” is a perfect neutral that would go with everything.

Did you see Wednesday’s post?  I talked about 8 items that you need in your Fall closet.  A great cognac bag was one of those items, and I gave several options from different retailers at various price points.

Then late Wednesday night I found THIS ONE online.   Look at the tortoise shell handle! And I couldn’t believe the price.

Again, a cognac tote is at the tip top of my NECESSARY FALL ITEMS list…and this one is an awesome price.

Remember my post with JCPenney earlier this week?  I took an entire outfit I highlighted on Monday, and just switched up the jeans from boyfriend jeans to these grey skinny jeans, and I totally changed up the look!  I thought the blouse looked great with the grey jeans.

This top is from last year, and I still wear it.  A lot.

Last year I didn’t purchase it until cooler weather had already arrived, so I was wearing it with jeans and boots a lot.  I think this was the first time I’ve ever paired it with shorts, and I thought it was a great combo as we are now just about 1/2 way in to September.  For size reference, size down for sure!  I’m wearing an x-small (it says it’s for 0-2, and I’m not a 0-2), and it’s still over sized.  You definitely need to wear a cami, tank, or bralette under it.

AND I LOVE MY SNEAKERS (true to size).

I’m still over here crushing hard on my blush poncho.  It is most definitely a favorite. (Click HERE if you want to see the poncho with my boot cut jeans.)

For size reference, I sized up to a medium in the poncho, but I think I could have probably stuck to my regular small.

I bought this dress for church this Fall, AND NOW IT’S ON SALE!

The dress is flowy, but not shapeless.  My perfect kind of dress!  It’s just a really pretty fit and is so comfortable.  I’m wearing a small and I still have some room in it, so you might consider sizing down if between sizes.  I’m 5’4″ for reference.  If you are taller and worried about the length, I also think it will look great over leggings, and maybe even skinny jeans!  It has a little bit of a Free People boho vibe to it!

I’ve been receiving some requests lately for non-distressed jeans.  I’ve ordered a couple to try at various price points that are on their way to me, but I wanted to remind y’all of these that I featured a couple of weeks ago!  If you loved the Blank NYC distressed denim from last year, these are the same jeans with no distressing!

The blouse is very similar to a wrap top that we all loved from last year (and it’s from the same maker)!  You definitely have to wear a cami under this because of the neckline and the sheerness, but it’s a great top.

I’m wearing a small in the top and a 27 in the jeans.

After I posted the below screenshot on instastories earlier this week, I started getting lots of questions about the Kopari deodorant from people that want to try it but are scared!  Haha! I get it, I was unsure too! I’m working on a post where I will talk all about it, and I will share all sorts of information in that post.

In response to my prompt, I received tons of comments on stories, and it apparently doesn’t work for everybody.  However, the great majority of people who have tried it love it like I do!  Again, I’ll talk all about it in my upcoming post!

SIZING TIPS: Size down for sure in the cardi, I’m wearing an XX small. I’m wearing a small in the tee, and it’s still quite loose. I sized up in the jeans to a 28 and size down a 1/2 in the similar wedge sneakers.

I got an order on Friday, I opened it on Saturday, and I was so dang excited about everything that I just couldn’t wait to share it….so I posted it on facebook, instagram, and stories!

The Madewell tote is AWESOME! It’s just what I’ve been looking for, and I’ve ordered probably 10 cognac totes trying to find the perfect one.  It’s a great size, and I’ll be carrying it cross body!  If you want to carry it over your shoulder, the handles aren’t long enough, so keep that in mind. The sweater is GORGEOUS, the earrings are light and soooo pretty, AND THE BOOTIES Y’ALL!  The sweater and booties are both true to size.

My absolute favorite Urban Decay palette is 50% OFF.  It’s the only eye shadow I’ve worn for the last 2 years, and I’m still using the same palette!

When I put this on facebook earlier this week, I had a reader comment that they are discontinuing this particular palette, which is why it’s on sale.  WHAT?  SAY IT ISN’T SO!   Anyway, that means you need to get it while you still can!

First of all, it’s a GORGEOUS book.  Second of all, I’M IN IT!  Y’ALLLLLLLLLL!
