Friday Favorites

It’s Friday, so y’all know what that means!  It’s time to link up with Erika, Andrea, and Narci to let everybody know about some of my favorite things!

So although I’ve caught an episode of America’s Got Talent here and there over the last couple years, we’ve never been loyal watchers.  But we watched as a family on Tuesday night, and I’m pretty sure we are hooked.

I get so pulled in by the people’s stories!  There was a 16 year old boy  named Christian Guardino that sang.  And he broke my heart in all the best ways.  He was there with his mamma, and my heart wanted to burst with pride on her behalf.  His voice was amazing.  But more than that, he was just as sweet and thankful as can be.  Click HERE to see it all go down.   I guarantee you will smile.  Personally, I bawled.

You’ve seen everything in this outfit before in different outfits, you’ve just never seen them put together into one outfit.  And great news!  These peplum tees are back in stock in all colors!  I’m wearing a small, which is true to size for me.  It’s oversized and flowy, but that’s how it is supposed to be.  I’m wearing my regular size 27 in the shorts.

And the necklace is FABULOUS.  I get stopped every single time I’m wearing it with people asking where it’s from.

Did y’all see my post on Wednesday?  I planned tons of outfits.

In this particular outfit, the bag was from Nordstrom, but it was sadly out of stock.

BUT Y’ALL!  You can now find the bag HERE at Target!  It’s the same price at Target thas it was at Nordstrom, but Target is showing it as in stock.  WooHoo!

The picture below makes it look white, but it’s not.  It’s actually a pale blush. (The Target website picture is a more accurate depiction of the color.)  I think the bag looks very much like a Rebecca Minkoff bag.  It’s awesome and looks MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE than $29.99.

This tunic is STILL ON SALE, and since I wore it again earlier this week, I thought I would show it to you one more time.  In fact, I was wearing it so much, I went ahead and ordered the navy color (which will look great with white jeans)!  And these are the splurge earrings I showed you earlier in the week.  Expensive?  YES.  Awesome?  YES.

I wore the above outfit when I went to Northpark earlier this week.  I did some shopping, and then I got to meet my sweet dad for lunch.  We try to do this every month, but we’ve missed the last several months.  I love having this time with him, and we both love the food at the Nordstrom restaurant.  It used to be called the Nordstrom Bistro, but now it’s called Bazille.  LOOK AT MY GORGEOUS LUNCH.  Salmon over couscous.  It was a perfect summer lunch.

While at the mall, I tried on several bags…all UNDER $100….all great!  I get lots of requests for inexpensive bags that still look great, and these definitely fit the bill.

This woven tote with the cognac braided strap is ONLY $58!  It has a great slouchy shape, but the bottom does have a flat base in order to provide stability.  There is a magnetic snap closure and a couple of interior pockets, and it is lined.  You can find all bags from Street Level HERE.  THIS red and white striped one is super cute too.

This linen tassel hobo is $90.  The different textures make it interesting, and I love the braided center tassel.  It has a center tab closure, a fun lining, a zippered pocket and open pockets on the interior.

This hobo bag is $59.95 and has braided details and a tassel.  If you are looking for a large bag, this would be a great choice.   It has zipper closure and an outer pocket with a zipper, which I love.  It’s definitely big enough to hold a wallet, make-up bag, laptop, and more.

This studded tote is also a very large bag.  It’s $64.95 and also definitely big enough to hold a laptop and lots of other things at the same time.  The studs are what make this tote special.  And it comes in black and “latte” (cream) as well.

This was me headed to the pool on Wednesday.  Sadly my cover up is no longer available.  I got it at Target probably around 5 years ago, and it remains one of my favorites.  However, minus the cover up, the picture contains several SUMMER MUST HAVES for me.

My $12 sunglasses are at the top of the list, and I’ve been loving my sunglasses case (use the code PTMTSAVE10 for 10% OFF). My chunky stud earrings have been a staple at the pool for several years now and my Havianas are definitely my GO TO flip flops for the pool.

I’m holding my two new favorite sun products.  I talked about them more on THIS post, but the Perk Up (lip and cheek color) and the SPF mineral powder have definitely found their way on to my SUMMER MUST HAVE LIST.  They are both fantastic products.

I was planning on saving this until next week, but they are flying off the shelves.  They keep going in and out of stock, and in case they sell out for good, I want to make sure you don’t miss them!  These $45 leopard slides are cute as can be.  They don’t have a lot of arch support, but I don’t need that.  I think they are comfy!
