It’s Friday, so y’all know what that means! It’s time to link up with Erika, Andrea, and Narci to let everybody know what some of my favorite things are right now!
I’ve got TONS of wonderful things for y’all today!!!! First of all, I want you to refer back to THIS post for some awesome present ideas. The post has my full review of each product, but the graphic below shows all of them. The main reason I’m re-posting it is because right now the SHAMPOO and CONDITIONER (which seriously changed my life, and I’m not even being dramatic) is Buy 2, Get 1 free right now! And these big ones will last you a sweet forever. The sale only lasts through Saturday! If you have a person on your list that’s a product person, these are some great ones!

And since we are talking about products, we’ve got to talk about the Lash Boost. I told y’all that I ordered it, and I finally started using a couple of weeks ago. I’m a bad blogger and don’t have any personal before and after pictures. BUT I’M TELLING YOU. IT’S WORKING. I haven’t noticed that my lashes are necessarily fuller yet, but they are DEFINITELY longer!!!! DEFINITELY! E-mail Erika at alittlebitofeverything83@yahoo.com if you want to order some for yourself OR for a Christmas gift! She actually has a limited number at her house that if you are one of the first to contact her, she will ship it to you for free! If you aren’t able to snag one of those, then she can get it ordered for you!
And while talking about lashes, a great stocking stuffer is THIS lash primer. I’ve been using it for several months now, and I think it’s awesome. It extends the length of my lashes right before I put on my mascara.

And I don’t know what it is about Christmas pillows, but THIS one hopped in my cart. And I think I’m going to ask for THIS laundry cart for Christmas. I’ve let my laundry room get OUT OF CONTROL, and I’m hoping that this laundry basket might inspire me to get back on track. Are y’all the same way? Like, I can get a new candle, and it makes me want to clean the whole house! 🙂 #itsthelittlethings

A sweet reader e-mailed me to let me know about THIS devotional book that her husband had written for men. Here’s what the author has to say about the book: It is aimed at men who don’t know how to have a daily devotional. Many men don’t journal, spend 30 minutes with the Lord, etc. and we are trying to meet them where they are and drip one value/thought a day into their life. My hook is primarily sports stories, headlines, etc, but my heart is to instill vision into their lives to live to a higher standard, calling and purpose. It literally will take men one minute a day.
I love the idea of men starting their day with a quick little read. Click HERE to buy the book. The book’s dimensions are 4.5 x 1.1 x 6.6 inches, so it is the perfect size for a stocking!!! You can click HERE to read some personal testimonials about the book from some famous athletes who are men of faith! They sent one to me, and it’s already in Chris’s stocking!

Y’all saw this GORGEOUS clutch several weeks ago. I called it an outfit maker, and it totally is. Lucky for us, Jenny has reinstated the code for the next 72 hours and STMT50 will get you 50% OFF this weekend! This is an INCREDIBLE deal. The bag with a custom monogram is typically $98 so this makes it $49 including the monogram. I know many of you already have a monogram (from when I talked about the DARLING cork clutch over the summer) so you could actually just order only the clutch. That would make it it only $30!!!!! WOW!!! It comes in this gorgeous cranberry color (which adds such a beautiful pop of color to an all black outfit), but it also comes in a classic black velvet.

I put THIS cowl neck on Facebook yesterday, but in case you didn’t catch it there, I knew lots of you would want to know about it because THE TURQUOISE IS NOW ON SALE! So many of us have this in multiple colors (I have it in grey and wine) and I wear one of them at least once a week. I’m not going to lie, it’s hard to resist buying a third. Like a reader said on facebook yesterday, “Is four to many?” 🙂
I’ve received lots of questions on if it’s long enough for leggings. For me, it is. I’m almost 5’4″ (long legs, but a short torso), and it’s long enough for me. I’m guessing it will work with leggings for some, and it won’t with others. If you have this top, feel free to comment with your height and if you are able to wear it with leggings or not!

My favorite booties (maybe of all time) are THESE perforated ankle booties with a low heel. They are COMFY AND DARLING. Mine are the sesame, which have been sold out forever. But the “brindle” suede color is nearly identical, it’s just the heel color that’s different. And now they come in several new colors. They are STILL ON SALE, and I love this dark “storm” color. It’s a great neutral. I do not wear socks with these booties.

A favorite each year for me is the girl’s Christmas party that Shay hosts. This year the theme was Ugly Christmas Sweaters, and we all brought appetizers. And I won the recipe contest!
Click HERE for the recipe. If you can even call it that. You layer 3 items: Softened cream cheese, caramel, and Heath pieces (without chocolate). I bought the caramel sauce in a tub by the apples in the produce section, and I bought the Heath pieces already chopped up like that in the baking aisle (by the chocolate chips).
I piled up the layers in a pretty pie plate, placed the plate on a wooden platter, and surrounded it with red and green apples. A big shout out to Jill (one of my high school besties) who gave me the recipe over the phone a couple of weeks ago. She said it was always a crowd pleaser, and boy was she right. Love you, Jill!

Here are some wood serving pieces that would be great in your kitchen (I leave the above wood platter just leaning against the backsplash in my kitchen) and would also be great gifts!
Here we are in all of our ugly Christmas sweater glory. I’m so thankful for these girls.
Lisa won the sweater contest, and apparently we felt like we all needed to do jazz hands around her. 🙂

I want to end today’s post talking about one of my very favorite people. My friend Manda. (When looking at the below picture, she’s on my right.) I’ve talked about Manda on the blog several times before, but in case you are new here, Manda is currently fighting cancer for the 3rd time. She first battled and beat cancer at the age of 5 years old. Many years later, it recurred right after she had her first child at 28, and at that time they made the difficult decision to amputate her leg. Then 5 years after winning her 2nd battle, it came back again. She has been fighting this last battle with FAITH OVER FEAR for the last 2 years. She has an incredible love for and faith in God, but she needs our prayers. Please click HERE to join her #MANDASTRONG facebook page so you can keep updated on her progress and very specific prayer requests.
Please join me in praying for Manda, her doctors, and her family. This is a family picture from 2 years ago, but I like to know the faces of those that I’m praying for and thought y’all might too. Let’s all get on our knees and STORM THE HEAVENS for precious Manda! We serve a BIG GOD and we know that He can do immeasurably more than we can ask for or even imagine.
WE LOVE YOU, MANDA! “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.” -Mark 10:27

I actually made that dip for a party I hosted last week after Shay posted it. Super yum and festive! Praying for your sweet friend. God is still in the miracle making business, of that much I’m sure.

I put your friend Manda on my prayer list and I’ll be praying for her and her family! I wanted to tell you that I ordered the turquoise cowl neck before it went on sale…I love it enough to pay full price…but it is not the same color as it appears online. It is much darker. Still pretty but not that bright, cheery turquoise that it appears in the online picture. It’s an amazing top but since I already have 2 colors I love, I sent this one back. I’m 5’6″ and it is long enough for leggings on me in the back but barely in the front. I wear it with leggings but only my super thick opaque leggings! Thanks for a great post!
Sheaffer says
Hi, Erin! Thank you so much for praying for Manda. That’s so disappointing about the color of the top!!! 🙁
Sara says
Most importantly, praying for your friend Manda and her family!
I have the Free People cowl neck shirt. I’m 5’7″ with a long torso and it is too short for me to wear it with leggings. The back is fine but it is shorter in the front. I still love the top because it is super soft and looks great with jeans and boots/booties!
On a somewhat related note since I mentioned leggings, I see so many (usually younger – in their 20s) women wearing leggings like they are pants. I think you need to make business cards that we can hand out with a link to your Leggings Are Not Pants post so Ryan can help them see the light!
Sheaffer says
Hi, Sara! Thank you so much for your prayers. They are so very appreciated. And those business cards are a great idea! Hahaha! 🙂 xoxo, Sheaffer 🙂

Hi Sheaffer. I’m praying for your friend and pray God will heal her from her cancer. I have a question about the scarves. Do you know if the colors are in order of the drop down menu? When I click on the picture for the color I want it doesn’t change anything in the drop down menu and vise versa. I want the 3rd scarf which I think is “fleetwood” but nervous to order it not knowing if that is what I’ll get.
Sheaffer says
Hi, Christina! Thank you for your prayers! I just forwarded your comment over to the girls at A.C. Try refreshing your screen, they think they fixed the glitch!!! xoxo, Sheaffer 🙂
Deanna says
Have those booties and love them!
Praying for Manda!
Stacy Grant says
Bought the Kenra blow dry spray when you first blogged about it. LOVE!! Have the booties in 3 colors but am contemplating a 4th pair. Ever since Shay posted about your ‘dip’ I have been waiting for the perfect time to try it. Tonight, is my daughter’s fall softball party. I can’t wait to try it! And the Free People top, I have in FIVE colors so no, FOUR is not too many. 🙂
And lastly and more important than any product or clothes item, we serve an almighty God. We lift Manda up in prayer and love. Father, please hear our prayers and surround Manda with love, peace and healing.
Sheaffer says
THANK YOU, STACY!!!! I love knowing that so many people are praying for Manda!!!! xoxo, Sheaffer 🙂
Charmaine Ng says
Ahh, you guys look so adorable with your ugly Christmas sweaters! It makes me nostalgic about the year when all my friends wore the same one at our Christmas party. Now we’re all over the world so it’s impossible to get everyone together again. 🙁

LeAnn says
Sheaffer, definitely praying for your sweet friend. What size do you wear in the cowl neck shirt?
Sheaffer says
Thanks for the prayers, LeAnn. I wear the x-small/small. xoxo, Sheaffer 🙂

I have the laundry basket you mentioned. I keep mine in the family room with all my cozy throws in it. Keeps them put away but easy to grab one when needed. Plus, it looks cute. Sending a prayer up for Manda.
Sheaffer says
That’s a great idea, Kristine! Thanks for the prayers. xoxo, Sheaffer 🙂
