It’s Friday, so y’all know what that means! It’s time to link up with Erika, Andrea, and Narci to let everybody know what some of my favorite things are right now!
Favorite # 1: Madewell Tee and THIS AWESOME BAG
This Madewell tee comes in 8 colors…and I have 5 of them. I’ve purchased them over the last 2 years, and they are my absolute favorite tee. They are thin, but only the white one requires a cami. They are great on their own, but they are also perfect for layering under denim jackets, military jackets, and blardigans! I wear a small in the tee, so it’s true to size.
AND Y’ALL! CHECK OUT THE BAG. The actual bag is smaller than I like my bags to typically be, but the strap spoke to me! If you want a bigger bag, you can check out the line of Rebecca Minkoff guitar straps (that attach to many of her bags). And let’s talk about how the over the knee boots totally kick up the sassy factor of a regular ol’ jeans and tee outfit.
Madewell tee / suede crossbody bag /similar leopard belt / teardrop earrings / arrow necklace (more on this in a second!)/ teardrop earrings / similar dark wash skinny jeans / over the knee suede boots (similar boots that are well stocked and ON SALE)

And just for fun, THIS is my favorite Minkoff strap. I mean, GORGEOUS. If I had a great black bag, I would definitely be giving it an update with this strap. There is a large choice of Rebecca Minkoff bags that have the hooks on the side, which means they are just waiting for a new strap!
And here is the same outfit from above, I just switched out the cross body bag for one of my favorite necklaces c/o Accessory Concierge.
FAVORITE #2: THIS FLORAL DRESS
This one is a favorite, because I’ve received several e-mails from some of you taller girls asking for leggings appropriate attire, and this dress fits the bill! I won’t be keeping this dress, because it’s too long on me…but I’m thinking it’s a wonderful option for those of you that are vertically blessed! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. It says a medium is a 4-6, which is what I would typically wear in a dress…so it’s true to size with the numbers (not necessarily the S,M,L). And please notice my new earrings. (I’m wearing them in the picture above too.) They are similar to the idea of my beloved Gorjana hoops, but they are a teardrop shape instead, and they are only $25! If you love your Gorjana hoops, you will love these!

Favorite #3: Round Top Finds
Last week I promised y’all that I would show you where some of my Round Top finds ended up around the house. This bowl caught my eye across a booth, and I fell in love. I thought it was stone, but when I went to pick it up it was paper mache! I love the shape, the size, the colors, and the fact it’s hand painted. The cutting board was another great find. It’s from France, and I imagine that a French grandma was cutting up veggies on it all the time. 🙂 The little wooden pedestal was something I picked up at Magnolia on the way down there and the turquoise planter used to be one of my Swan Creek candles! I burned the candle and then new it would make the perfect container for a little succulent!
The little green stand (that the lamp and blue container are on) is probably my favorite find. And it was $10! Love little items like this.
And the needlepoint pillow was $10 as well! It found it’s home on one of the checked chairs on the dining room.
Favorite #4: Denim Shirtdress
Sadly, this denim dress is from last year and no longer available. But I want to talk about how much I love it. I wear it lots of different ways. Last year I showed it to you with leggings and tall boots…but I didn’t realize how versatile it was going to be. You see it below with booties and a tassel necklace for church last week, but I’ve also worn it with converse just around town. A denim shirtdress is a great closet basic that you will find yourself reaching for again and again!

Lucky for y’all, I have several denim shirtdress options for you. Just click on what you are interested in!
Ooh! One more I just found at Anthro! Click HERE. It has a 5 STAR rating with 33 reviews, and it comes in both regular and petite. (If you use the code YAY at Anthropologie right now, you can get 15% OFF dresses, 20% OFF bottoms and 30% OFF tops!)
Favorite #5: Accessory Concierge Earring Deal
Y’all went crazy a couple of weeks ago for the teardrop dangle earrings from Accessory Concierge. Well, I have another FABULOUS deal today on these absolutely gorgeous druzy studs! They are genuine druzy (which is a natural stone) and the gold you see is 14K. Regularly $36 (and worth it!), they are ON SALE through the weekend for ONLY $18 with the code STMTdruzy. Once again, think about friend gifts, teacher gifts, stocking stuffers, and the list goes on. I love these earrings. They are soooooooo sparkly and sooooooooooooooo pretty! They are perfect to throw on for working out…great with jeans and a fun top……but they are also definitely pretty enough to wear with a little black dress if you are wearing a statement necklace and just want a little something up top!
Click HERE for the earrings. If the last earring deal was any indication, colors will go fast.
Later today I hope to have a picture of the earrings on an ear (you can see one in the comments section of facebook from my post last night), but I hesitate to post the picture because I feel like although it is an accurate representation of size, the picture makes the earrings look dull, when they are actually quite sparkly!
Favorite #6: Carter Doing His Thing
I know as parents, we are constantly saying “This is such a fun age”. But 8 is such a fun age! He is always cracking us up and we just think he is a blast to be with. I also love watching him interact with his friends.
Here he is at the Fun Run with his friends Luke, Benton, and Jude! Sweet boys.
And here he is at soccer camp with his friends (and neighbors) Mallie and Tripp.
FAVORITE #7: Stella and Dot
So I’ve loved Stella and Dot jewelry for years. Their delicate little arrow necklace is a definite favorite of mine. I wear it constantly. In fact, I go through periods of time where I never take it off. It’s just so dainty and pretty. It looks great on it’s own, but I love to layer it with other necklace, which is what I did here with another Stella and Dot piece. I’m wearing a medium in the shirt, so I went up a size.
If you are interested in either of these pieces, click HERE because my friend Narci (my Stella and Dot girl) opened up an online party! If you like the arrow necklace (I actually named it a Should Have Been a MUST HAVE back in April), write “on the mark” in the search bar found on the upper left hand side of the screen. If you like the crescent necklace, type “luna pendant” in the search bar. I absolutely love how it mixes metals. It’s hard to see the difference in the silver and gold in the picture, but it’s very easy to see in person (and quite pretty)!
And check out my cuff. Not Stella and Dot, but from my girls at Accessory Concierge. THIS one is the antelope mohair.
Click HERE for all choices, just scroll down the page a bit. Awesome bracelets for fall!

That cross body with that funky strap is adorable. I’m pretty sure it’s talking to me too. It’s saying, buy yourself a birthday gift.
Begina Proctor says
What size did you get in the floral dress? Love it!!!
Sheaffer says
Hi, Begina! I got a medium, because it says a medium is a 4-6, which is what I would typically buy in a dress! xoxo, Sheaffer 🙂

It’s kind of annoying how darling you look in those jeans and over-the-knee boots!!! And that bag strap is DARLING!!! Such great favorites this week, friend!
