FAVORITE #2: THIS SUMMER TOP!!!

I’ve had this top for a couple of weeks now, but I haven’t shown it because it’s been sold out.  Well, earlier this afternoon I saw it was BACK IN STOCK IN ALL SIZES!  Hurry though, I’m not sure how many there are!  I’m wearing an x-small, so it definitely runs big.  The material is thin (it’s 100% rayon), but it’s not see-through, and I think it’s the perfect weight for a breezy summer shirt. I haven’t washed it yet, but although it says to hand wash I’m guessing you probably don’t have to.  Has anybody had any luck washing it in the machine yet?  If so, please leave a comment!

FAVORITE #3:  STRAPLESS BRA

So THIS strapless bra has already been named a MUST HAVE (see all of of my MUST HAVES HERE), but I’ve been receiving lots of inquiries for strapless bra recommendations (due to off the shoulder, strapless, and tanks this summer), and I realized people that are new here might have missed my glowing bra recommendation!

My friend Shay launched her new site on Monday.  And it’s AWESOME!  Shay has had 2 blogs for years…her family blog, and her food blog.  And now they are combined!  The new site looks great, and it just makes sense!  Click over HERE to see the new site and look around!

FAVORITE #5:  Conner’s New Stuff!

Back in April,  I told y’all I had been named a brand ambassador for Sole Society!  Well, when it came time for me to pick out a new pair of shoes and a new bag to try, I asked them if I could treat my little sister, and they said YES!

She absolutely loves the wedges she picked out.  Look how cute they are!  And she says they are true to size and very comfy.  I absolutely love the contrast between the black leather and the brown wedge (kind of like my vintage inspired wedges I showed you earlier this month)!  The bag is way bigger than she thought it was going to be when she ordered it, but she is excited to use it as her carry on bag on her next trip.  And look at her rocking the MUST HAVE jacket.  #goodgirl  I gave it to her for her birthday a couple of years ago, and I think she loves it as much as I do.  Thanks for modeling, Conner!

FAVORITE #6:  ANNIVERSARY SALE AND SPECIAL MAMA GIVEAWAY

I mentioned this briefly in my post on Monday.  But the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is just around the corner!  Click HERE if you don’t know what it is and want to learn what I think about it.  And like I said on Monday, I highly recommend getting a Nordstrom debit or credit card so you can shop early access with us and get to shop a whole week before it goes live to the public!

My FAVORITE part of the Anniversary Sale…actually, one of my favorite parts of my entire year is the Special Mama giveaway I host during the sale.  Start getting your nominations ready, because sometime in the next couple of weeks we will start the nominating process!  If you are new around here and don’t know what the Special Mama giveaway is, it’s a way for me to celebrate moms of kids with special needs.  As a speech therapist, I not only had a heart for the precious kids I was working with, I also developed a heart for their incredibly sweet and giving mamas.  Click HERE to read a little bit more about how the contest came to be, thanks to a recommendation from a mom of one of the kids I used to work with!  In a nutshell, these moms spend so much time and money pouring everything they’ve got into their kids, and I wanted a way to honor them!  So the SPECIAL MAMA giveaway series was born!

FAVORITE #7:  JUICE CLEANSE

So I’m doing a 3 Day Juice Cleanse next week.  I know.  I’m already hungry.  And grumpy.  I know I can’t really classify this as a favorite yet since I haven’t done it…but I’M HOPING that the results are my favorite.  Plus, I wanted to tell y’all about it before I started it, and today seemed as good of a time as any since today you can get $30 off the 3 day cleanse with the code JUICENOW.

In addition to the reviews on the site, I also read a ton of reviews on YELP.  Most of the reviews were EXTREMELY favorable.  Many said that they do juice cleanses a lot and that this was their favorite.  Many reviewers mentioned more energy and weight loss.  And you can sign me right on up for weight loss.  Now sure, there were a couple that said “I only lasted 1/2 a day” and one that said “I threw up”…but most people were recommending the cleanse and saying they would definitely be doing it again!  I’m just going to think positively and hope I don’t fall in the small % of people that puke.  🙂  Click HERE for the 3 day cleanse I’m doing.  The plan is to do it Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of next week. I can’t do Tuesday because we have a group date night with friends at Mexican Sugar, and I’m not about to miss that.  #quesoandtequilapriorities.

FAVORITE #10:  TAN TOWELS!!!

I added this final favorite at the end of today’s post after receiving the comments from Lori and Elizabeth today about my “tan”.   I had actually received several comments earlier this week about my “tan”, specifically because of the picture (seen below) that I posted on the blog and social media on Monday.  Lots of you ladies wanted to know about my “tan”.

I am definitely spending time at the pool this summer, but my tan is really a result of THESE tan towels from Dr. Gross.  I’ve used tons of different self-tanners over the years, and last year I got spray tanned several times, but I have gone back to using these this year after seeing Shay’s “tan”!  And I’m loving them so much, I don’t really know why I ever strayed away from them.  I guess I was trying to be more cost effective, but the color with these tan towels is so much more natural than any other product I’ve used that it’s definitely worth the extra money!  I highly recommend them!  p.s.  I can never use “quotes” without thinking of Joey from friends!  🙂
