SHOPPING WITH SHEAFFER
I went to the mall last Friday and got an in person sneak peek at the Evereve necklace I ordered last week (but hasn’t been delivered yet). I LOVE IT SO MUCH and can’t wait to get my hands on it. (UPDATE: It came in last night and it’s awesome. I’m on a girl’s trip this weekend, and I’ll be wearing it with a couple of different outfits at least!)
I grabbed the multicolor one, but I also really love the green one. I love the idea of wearing one with a collared button up, or just on top of a crewneck sweater. They are so punchy and fun!
Since mine hasn’t arrived yet, here’s a reminder of what it looks like on…
This smocked lace minidress didn’t work for me because it was too much fabric for my frame. However, I’m still showing it because I do think a lot of you will like it. And right now it is 40% OFF! It’s a cotton blend (more soft than crisp), and it has great ruffle and smocked detailing at the neck and the sleeves. I love the tiered skirt, and it’s got a skinny little tie belt that helps define your waist. As I said before, I thought it was too much on me, but I think lots of you will like it (especially you taller gals).

This striped sweater is good for right now on warmer days, but you will for sure be able to wear it all the way into late spring. It’s a little boxy, a little oversized, a little sporty… and a whole lotta cute. It’s a mid-weight with some stretch, and I really like the longer sleeve length and the cream layer peeking out underneath the crew neck for a double collar. I think it’s meant to be worn out, but as you’ll see in the next picture, I also like it with a half tuck. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

Here it is with a pair of black jeans and a half tuck. I’d talk about the black jeans, but they’re sold out in every size, so I won’t bother. 🙁
If you want to wear the sweater to the office, just pair it with a black or neutral trouser pant.

You can’t get more simple OR MORE CLASSIC than this roll neck sweater. I’m wearing it in “oat milk”, but it also comes in “light heather grey” and “heather” (that looks like a soft pale blue to me online). It does have a bit of wool, but I thought it was soft and not at all scratchy. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
If you’re looking for a fun and modern pair of denim, I GOTCHU’. These patch pocket wide leg jeans are soft, stretchy, roomy, and I love the patch pocket vibe. They are almost full-length on me (5’4″ with no torso and long legs for my height), but I think they would be cute a little shorter too. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4. I would suggest sizing down if between sizes.

And the same neutral sweater of course pairs perfectly with black denim too.
These black Wit and Wisdom jeans are higher waist, an ankle length, and a flattering flare him silhouette. They’ve got a great amount of stretch (they’re from Wit and Wisdom after all!), but they hold their shape. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4.

This floral blouse has a bit of a boho vibe, and I have to say I’m diggin’ it. It’s a beautiful navy, rose, mustard, and cream floral pattern. It has billowy balloon sleeves (see picture on left) that hit a bit below the elbow with an elastic fit, and it’s got a tie at the neckline that can be tied into a knot or a whimsical bow. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium here, but I think I would prefer the fit of a small. I think it looks great with these wide leg jeans.

This puff sleeve sweater is a perfect spring piece. The colors are soft and lovely, and I love the combo of the pink, cream, and light brown. It’s got a wide ribbed hem at the waist (which is very flattering) and some ribbing at the bottom of the sleeves as well. It also comes in a powder blue colorway, but I definitely prefer this soft pink. For size reference I’m wearing a medium, but size down if between sizes.
THESE JEANS are so SO good. They were recommended to me by my sister, and I knew I had to have them for myself because they looked so great on her. They look pretty short on the model, but they hit me just where I like them to (just showing a bit of ankle). I’m 5’4″ with long legs and no torso (to give you some reference).
They fit like a glove. But like a really comfy and stretchy glove that still has some structure to it. They make me feel great, and I’m so glad I took a chance on this to new (to me) brand. Thanks for the suggestion, Conner! #connertoldmeto They run true to size. I’m wearing a 27.
I also ordered this pair from the same maker in the “medium blue”. Hoping I love them just as much!

And here’s the look with the cropped jacket I first highlighted last week. This cropped jacket is fabulous. Like seriously fabulous.
It’s made from a performance fabric that has a water-resistant finish, but I’m telling you it looks and feels like a lightweight and super soft leather. It’s beautifully made, and it looks very expensive and totally luxe. The cropped silhouette is so fun (hits mid-hip), and it’s got a swingy little fit. Pleated details across the shoulders, the back, and the cuffs are so pretty and feminine. And y’all know I love the stand-up collar. Ooh! And the tortoise shell buttons are a great touch too. For size reference, I took the online advice and ordered 1 size down and it was perfect. I’m wearing a small.

So this denim puff sleeve blouse was a no brainer for me. Y’all know I’m a sucker for a denim top, and this one has a deep (but not too deep) neckline and a tiny little ruffle on the hem of the sleeve. It’s classic and feminine! Sign me right on up. I love it here with black denim, but just imagine how great it’s going to be with white denim!!! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
It comes in standard, petite, and plus sizes and has near perfect reviews.

I love a short sleeve sweater. Always have, always will. They are the just so versatile! Great on their own all the way through spring, but also great to layer under jackets.
It comes in a “vanilla white” too, but I couldn’t resist this gorgeous “tulip red” color. It’s a tiny bit of a boxy fit, but it’s not too boxy at all. The sleeve length goes down to the elbow, which I love. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

MY NEW PERSONALITY
Y’all. I’ve officially reached Grandma status over (without actually ever becoming a grandma). My favorite place to be now is snuggled up in my living room with this neck and shoulder heating pad that Chris got me for Christmas.
I’VE GOT NO SHAME.
