Today’s post is one of my favorite posts each and every month. Today I’m going to share your Top 12 picks from January.

Not surprisingly, many of y’alls Top 12 picks are in my top picks for the month as well. All of the items I’m featuring today are items that I added to my own closet or makeup drawer (or already owned), and because of that they are items that you will continue to see on the blog as long as they are in stock.

The picks that made this month’s top list are from Nordstrom, Amazon, Avara, and Colleen Rothschild. And great news! Everything (except for the last pair of jeans) that made the Top 12 is below $100.

I ordered the sweatshirt for myself after finding it for the collage…

This tiny heart sweatshirt is just the kind of top I love to throw on with jeans and sneakers. There’s a light fleece on the inside that’s soft, but not super hot. Since the sweatshirt isn’t thick, you can either wear it out or tuck it in without it being too bulky. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. If between sizes, I would suggest sizing up because the fit is a bit narrow.

2) heart cardi / This cute little cropped heart cardigan was an immediate HECK YES for me. The site says it runs large, but I actually think it runs a tad small. I’m in my regular size medium, but if you are between sizes I would say to size up.

I think it’s sweet because of the color and hearts. If pink isn’t your thing, it also comes in a soft powder blue with cream hearts and a creamy white with really soft blush hearts.

If you want some modern denim, these wide leg ankle jeans will fit the bill. I’m loving them. They’re a very soft denim with front pockets, wide legs, and a cropped hem. I’m wearing my regular size 4 (not a petite), but I’m wondering if I would like more of a cropped look, so I’m thinking of trying them in a petite too.

3) multicolor charm necklace / I just recently got this necklace and started showing it, but y’all have loved it.

This short sleeve sweater is great and so versatile. I will wear it by itself all the way through spring but will also layer it under jackets right now. It comes in a “vanilla white” too, but I couldn’t resist this gorgeous “tulip red” color. It’s a tiny bit of a boxy fit, but it’s not too boxy at all. The sleeve length goes down to the elbow, which I love. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

The Face Oil #9 is a product that I absolutely cannot live without. Like I would absolutely freak out if they ever discontinued it. If you’ve never tried it, you really need to! I’ve given it as a gift several times, and everybody that I’ve ever given it to is now a devoted user.

When I first started using it years and years ago I only used it at night, but now I use it in the morning too. I just mix it with my moisturizer and my skin absolutely drinks it up. YOU WILL LOVE IT. It is a must have product for me for sure.

Colleen touts it as the ultimate in skin luxury, and I have to agree. It improves radiance. RADIANCE!

5) sneakers / I bought these sneakers several months ago, and I’m still wearing the heck out of them. They are PERFECT for fall and winter because of the color and material. I think they are super comfy and true to size.

This sweater combines a bold pink and bold orange together for this vibrant sweater with fun wavy stripes. It’s thicker and much warmer than the above cardi. The colors absolutely pop and are so eye-catching! I do think it runs a bit big. I’m wearing a medium and like the fit, but I think a small would be just fine too.

This set has a simple crewneck and super casual. I’m wearing the brown here, but it comes in several other color options. The piping is a nice design detail, and I of course love the drawstring waist and pockets. It’s giving sporty chic vibes. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

6) striped sweatshirt / This striped sweatshirt is going to be a closet staple for me. It’s got an oversized slouchy fit, and I love it. This one is a creamy ivory with a navy stripe, but it also comes in a navy with a white stripe. It’s really soft and it has a little bit of stretch (which is awesome). For size reference, I’m wearing the medium. The small would definitely fit too, but I liked this fit.

7) modal 2-piece set / This is a 2-piece set that I’m dang near obsessed with. It’s pretty much perfection.

I’m obviously wearing the black here (and love it), but I’ve actually sent this one back and exchanged it for the apricot. Wearing black with a Golden Retriever at home just isn’t the best idea. 😉 I also love the grey, the brown, and the khaki.

It’s a modal jersey, it’s crazy soft, and it’s very stretchy. YOU WILL LOVE IT. The material is great quality, and the set is well made. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

And although this set didn’t make the Top 12 list, it’s getting a spot today because it was one of my favorite personal finds.

I’m wearing the light khaki in a medium (I think I would actually prefer the fit of a small), but it’s still sooooooooooo good. I totally compare it to the look and quality of Spanx, but for a much smaller price. I’m wearing it here with slippers, but I’ll definitely throw on UGGs or sneakers with it and run around town.

These are the only kinds of things I want to be wearing from now until April.

8) ankle jeans / NOW LADIES…THESE JEANS. They are so SO good.

They were recommended to me by my sister, and I knew I had to have them for myself because they looked so great on her. They look pretty short on the model, but they hit me just where I like them to (just showing a bit of ankle). I’m 5’4″ with long legs and no torso (to give you some reference).

They fit like a glove. But like a really comfy and stretchy glove that still has some structure to it.

I think these are super flattering, and I’m so glad I took a chance on this to new (to me) brand. Thanks for the suggestion, Conner! #connertoldmeto

They run true to size. I’m wearing a 4.

Here are several outfits with the jeans…

Do you want to be festive, but don’t want to wear hearts? Well then, this rose sweater is for you. IT IS DARLING!!! The pink is beautiful and bright and happy, and the graphic red rose is such a fun design. There’s also a creamy white option with a blush pink rose.

I love the subtle puff sleeve and the thick banded hem. I think it’s very flattering.

Now, this sweater is pricey. But as I always say, I tend to add a pricey piece to my closet here and there (if I LOVE it), and it always seems to work out. I find the pieces that I truly love are the ones that get worn the most, so the cost per wear ends up justifying the higher price tag.

This cutie sweatshirt is vibrant red with a pink metallic LOVE in bubble letters. This one has a fit that’s a bit slouchier, but it does have a banded hem. It can be worn pulled down, with the band around the hips, or with a half tuck. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. I definitely need a medium in the chest, but the shoulders are a bit wide for me (but I know a small would be too small).

I pulled this short sleeve heart cardi straight out of a vacuum sealed bag, which is why it’s a wrinkled mess. It’s very oversized and I think the fit is kind fun like this, but I would definitely prefer a small (because I think the small will still be oversized). For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

It also comes in a red with white hearts and a white with red hearts. It comes in lots of solid colors too.

This playful cardi is ribbed and features little stripes, some colorblocking, and some cutie little hearts. It’s definitely fitted, but although I typically prefer a more relaxed style, I actually like the fit of this one. I’m wearing a medium here and it’s too small for me to wear it all buttoned up, but I like the look worn open over a basic tee.

Okay. SO THIS IS CUTE.

A little blue and white pin stripe with tiny red hearts. YES, PLEASE.

It’s a crisp cotton button up. It’s totally classic, but with some festive flare.

For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

This one will be great with white jeans too.

If you’re looking for something a little more roomy, this is a great choice. It’s thick, warm, and can be worn open (like you see below) or all buttoned up like a regular sweater. The hearts are different sizes, different colors, and perfectly whimsical. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but I think a small would be a better fit (and still roomy).

This pink and white striped sweater is precious. It’s very lightweight, so it would be great layered under a denim or military jacket, but I think you could wear it by itself all the way into summer. I love the red piping around the collar, sleeves, and hem. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

February is here, and I’m totally dying over this fair isle heart sweater. It’s a beautiful soft pink with vibrant red accents, and it combines hearts and bows in the most adorable fair isle pattern. And look at the little hearts around the sleeves and the hem! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but I think I would prefer a small in this one.

9) frayed hem wide leg jeans / Now let’s talk about these frayed hem boot cut jeans, NOW ON SALE. The leg is slightly flared, and I love the frayed hem. I actually think they are kind of like a super subtle wide leg. They have the mold and hold technology that we all love, and they will make you feel like a million bucks! Again, I for sure feel taller and skinnier with them on. True to size, I’m wearing a 4.

My absolute favorite new routine right now is to wash my face at night before I get in the shower (with the balm) and then I rub the Dual Enzyme Polish in circulation motions all over my face. I leave it on during the shower, and then at the end of the shower, I do a little more circular rubbing and then splash water all over my face to get it all off. 13) Kut jeans / These kick wash flare jeans look cropped on the model, but they are closer to full length on me (I’m 5’4″ with long legs for my height and no torso). For these colder months, I actually like this length. However, I might end up shortening them for spring and summer. Since they are a frayed hem, I’m thinking I’m just going to take a pair of scissors to them and take off a couple of inches. For size reference, I’m wearing a size 4.
