It’s Friday, so y’all know what that means! It’s time to link up with Erika, Andrea, and Narci and let everybody know what some of my favorite things are right now!
FAVORITE #1: A GREAT SPRING OUTFIT
I love an outfit where I’m comfy, the outfit is cute, and it was kind of a no-brainer to put together. This outfit meets all of those requirements! If you’ve been reading the blog for awhile now, you know I wore the heck out of my rainbow wood bead tassel necklace last year, and I plan on doing the same this year. #sorrynotsorry #itmakeseverythingcuter
And my AG skinny jeans rarely come off my body during the spring. They are the perfect length for all sorts of flats, converse, wedges, and sandals. I also love the color of the wash and the minimal distressing. And the fit is perfection.
white v neck tee / rainbow wood bead tassel necklace / military jacket / ag skinny ankle jeans / chambray TOMS sandals / circle stud earrings
Size references: I’m wearing a small in the tee (true to size), a small in the military jacket (true to size), and a 27 in the jeans (true to size). The sandals are true to size as well.

And the shoes are from my shoe post on Wednesday! Girls. These chambray sandals are VERY comfy. On Wednesday I received lots of comments from ladies that already had these shoes saying they couldn’t believe how comfortable they actually are for a flat sandal! Other colors from TOMS HERE.
FAVORITE #2: CUTE READERS!
This picture was posted by a reader on facebook last week, and my goodness did it make me smile.
It included this caption: These teachers are huge fans of your Must-Have-Shirt and leggings (and you!)! Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Well y’all are DARLING, and I’m so happy you took the time to take and send me the picture! These girls all work together at a school in Plano, TX and they broke out the olive green LUSH tunic for St. Paddy’s day!
You can find the tunic HERE and the leggings HERE! And both are are ON SALE! If buying for the first time, remember that I prefer the dark grey to the black leggings because I just feel like they hold up better. My black leggings have faded over time, but my grey leggings still look brand new!
FAVORITE #3: THESE TWO
I just can’t get enough pics of these two together. Our sweet Scout is almost 12 years old, and Carter loves him so much. We all adore him (he is the sweetest dog on the planet), but it’s just been so amazing to watch Carter’s love for him grow. He really does think of him as a brother. Spring ball started up this year, and I snapped a pic of the brothers before Carter headed out for his first game! I about died when I realized Scout was basically smiling!
FAVORITE #4: My Barrington Bag and Make-Up Bag
Here’s another one of those perfect spring outfits! Cute – check! Comfy – check! Easy to put together – check! 😉
I highly recommend this cardigan, and it comes in 22 total colors and patterns. TWENTY TWO. And several colors are on sale HERE. This spring monogrammed tote from Barrington gives me all the heart eyes. See how it kicks up the cute factor on my outfit SEVERAL notches?!?
cardigan / similar striped tee / ag skinny ankle jeans / nude leather flats / Savannah tote c.o Barrington / Make-Up bag c.o Barrington
Size References: I’m wearing a small in the cardigan (true to size), a 27 in the jeans (true to size), and the flats are true to size as well.
One of my friends (thanks for the pic Jenny!) gave the monogrammed accessory cases (I use mine as a make-up bag) as hostess gifts for her baby shower. What an AMAZING gift to give and receive! Click HERE for these cases! this would also be the perfect Mother’s Day gift, don’t ya think? And if you want to get bonus points with mama, go ahead and get her the bag too! 😉 Use the code PTMTSAVE10 for 10% OFF your entire order.
FAVORITE #5: Emily’s Book
I’ve been a fan of Emily Maynard since she was a contestant on The Bachelor. And I became even more of a fan when she was The Bachelorette. I just thought she was cute as a button and as sweet as can be. And now that I’ve started reading her book I SAID YES, I have a whole new understanding and respect for her. She is so open and honest in this book (which I appreciate so much!)…and this girl is STRONG, FAITHFUL, and SUCH AN INSPIRATION!!! She’s been through a lot in her life that I didn’t know about before reading. Even before losing her fiance, she went through some difficult times as a teen. Well, I’m only partially through her book, but I’m amazed at her strength. It’s a story of “heartbreak, redemption, and true love”.
Emily and I started following each other on instagram a couple of years ago, and I even got a chance to meet her at a conference awhile back. And let me just say this, she’s even cuter in person than she is on t.v.!
Anyway, Emily is definitely a favorite of mine, and I’m honored to help get the word out about her book! I thought it would be fun to run a contest over on instagram! Hop over HERE, tag 4 friends, and all 5 of you will win a copy of her book! And you can of course get the book for yourself HERE!
FAVORITE #6: THIS STRIPED TOP
I wore this top 2 days in a row this week. The first day I wore it with skinny jeans, booties, and a pendant necklace. And I had showered and was wearing make-up. Yay, me. 😉 The second day I wore it my hair was dirty, not a bit of make-up in sight, and I accessorized with a Ford hat. And I was wearing my pajama jeans.
striped v-neck sweater / pajama jeans / similar shoreline converse / cross body bag (similar without basket weaving HERE)
Size References: I’m wearing a small in the sweater (true to size) and a 6 1/2 in the converse (true to size). I sized down 2 full sizes in the pajama jeans (I’m wearing a 25), and I suggest to everyone to size down 2 sizes. I know it’s hard to believe, but I promise that’s what you need to do!
FAVORITE #7: My Shoe Post
I worked really hard on my Wednesday post. I wanted it to be super comprehensive and very helpful…so if you didn’t get a chance to check out my SHOE post, click HERE now! I talk about flats, converse, wedges, and sandals. I give lots of options, and you are sure to find at least 1 pair you will want to add to your closet!
FAVORITE #8: BEST WHITE JEANS EVER
So, here’s something funny. A couple of weeks ago I had a post about THE BEST WHITE JEANS EVER (THAT ARE NOW RE-STOCKED)!!!! Well, here’s what I’ve realized. Some of you LOVE, ADORE, and WANT TO MARRY THESE JEANS (just like me)! On the opposite side of the spectrum, some of you HATE them! I had no idea that these jeans could be so polarizing! I get it, jeans are hard. And white jeans are REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY HARD. That being said, I still really love them….and lots of you agree with me.
white jeans (I have a 4, so I think they are true to size.) / cork wedges (I recommend ordering a 1/2 size up.)
But the shirt? Well, the shirt seems to be a hit with EVERYBODY. Seriously. EVERY SINGLE PERSON that got this shirt LOVES this shirt.
white jeans / green blouse (I’m wearing a small, so I think it’s true to size.) / gold earrings / cork wedges (I suggest ordering a 1/2 size up.) / arrow necklace / $18 bar necklace

FAVORITE #9: My Friend Manda
Earlier this week I shared that my friend Manda needed prayers. And all of you showed up in a big way and prayed for her. I was so touched, and she was so grateful. Sadly, Manda and her family did not get the news that they had hoped for. The decision was made to discontinue her participation in the trial she was on in San Antonio, and she came home to her family. Please continue to keep Manda and her family in your prayers as they are making decisions about what direction to go now. Please pray for wisdom and continued faith as they fight this fight. Manda knows that God is in control and she continues to keep the faith. Still, she is frustrated and tired and covets your prayers. Please continue to pray for Manda, her family, and the doctors.
FAVORITE #10: Good Friday and Easter
This weekend we celebrate the fact that Jesus loved us so much that he laid down his life for us. We celebrate that Jesus, perfect in every way, paid the price for all of our sins. We celebrate the fact that 3 days later he rose from the dead as our personal Savior.
It is my hope everybody has a wonderful Easter weekend with friends and family, and that we all stop and feel the love that God has for each of us. It is by His grace that we have all been saved. God’s love for us knows no end, and it is my hope that we all celebrate His love and our redemption!
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16

Cate says
Happy Friday!!! In favorite #6 you mentioned that you sized down two sizes in the pajama jean but then say you got a 27. I think you meant 25. 🙂 Just FYI that you may want to fix so others are not confused. Have a wonderful Easter weekend!
Sheaffer says
Hi Cate! You are right, and I fixed it! Thanks for pointing out the mistake!!!! xoxo, Sheaffer 🙂
Amanda @ Cupcake N Dreams says

I tried that jacket in 3 sizes and none of them worked. It really is too boxy. Sadly I had to return it. So FYI, if you like your jackets semi fitted, this isn’t it.
Lori says
Love Friday favorites! I have a question for you- where do you like your skinny jeans to hit on your ankle? I’m quite, ahem, short (5’1″) and I’m planning to get some jeans hemmed but I keep putting it off because I’m not sure exactly what length I want them shortened to? I like the length of your AG jeans on you- is that about your ankle bone? Where do those hit on you? Thanks for being our easy fashion guru!!
Sheaffer says
Hi Lori! Yes, I would say my ankle bone! Xoxo, Sheaffer 🙂
heidi says

Excellent post today. I requested Emily’s book from the library last week and can’t wait to read it. I have to admit, when I saw this section of your post though I had to double check which blog I was reading! 🙂 Glad to hear you’re enjoying the book. Sending prayers for your dear friend Manda. Happy Easter.
Laurie S says
Happy Easter Sheaffer! Hallelujah – He is risen! LOVE the picture of Carter and Scout. My Golden is almost 12.5 years old, and her smiles are precious. I think of her as a little girl in a furry body, and she’s pretty smart and perceptive. Prayers for Manda and her family they look to the Lord for direction and His plan for their lives.
Erin says
AAAAHHHHHH!!! Yes! I have the green shirt you have on with the white jeans and LOVE it!!
Cheri says
I’m wearing my Lush olive green tunic as I scrolled down to see the picture of the readers wearing it too. LOL
Catherine says
He has risen, indeed! Happy Easter!
April Parrish says
Love all of your Friday Favorites!! I received my white jeans a few days ago and I’m so disappointed! They are way too short for me. I love EVERYTHING else about them though so it’s a huge bummer. I’m 5’7″ and they are the length of capris–no where near my ankle.
Happy Easter to you and your sweet family!!
mouni says
I always check the inseam before buying jeans.
Sarah says

Does your friend Manda have any kind of blog or page so we can send encouraging thoughts and follow her journey?
Thanks!
Sheaffer says
Hi Janet! Manda doesn’t have a blog, but you can follow updates on her journey at facebook in the group Manda Strong. Thank you so much! xoxo, Sheaffer 🙂
