SHOPPING WITH SHEAFFER

I’ve got a mini Shopping With Sheaffer for part of today’s post, and I’m highlighting some new finds from Nordstrom, Amazon, Walmart, Social Threads, and Kohl’s.

We’re going to kick things off with this wonderful spring sweater. The color combo is adorable, and it has the zip up collar I’m always drawn to and a split hem. It looks great here with ankle jeans and sneakers, but it will also be adorable with white denim and with denim shorts. And I’m dead over this color block sweatshirt. It’s exactly the type of thing I like to wear all spring and summer long. First with jeans, and then with denim shorts. I shared this pink cardi on Monday in my outfit planning post, but it’s even better in person. The shade of pink is super punchy and vibrant, and the pointelle knit is lovely and feminine. For size reference, I’m wearing a small. It will be great with white denim too, and it’s dressy enough to pair with nice slacks or a pencil skirt for the office as well. Well, I recreated it!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND every single thing I’m wearing. Everything is stretchy, comfy, and an awesome basic.

I’m wearing a medium in the denim jacket, a medium in the tee, and a small in the pants.

And do y’all notice something different in this picture? That’s right, I’m wearing glasses. They’re actually just reading glasses, but I’m so happy that I finally caved and bought myself a pair.

These glasses actually came in a 5 pack that’s under $15 for all 5. I got the +1.0 frames, and they seem to be just what I need. Seriously, they are a total game changer when reading. I don’t think I need glasses other than when reading small print at a close distance, but I’ll make an eye appointment soon just to get everything checked.

This next outfit is almost exactly the same as the outfit directly above, I just switched out the dressier khaki drawstring pants for the must have joggers and it looks like a completely different outfit! It’s a perfect example for how really great basics are needed in every closet.

And how fabulous is this bag?!? It’s a vegan leather, and the entire bag is soft and pliable with a zippered pouch in it. I love that the handles are long enough to fit comfortably over my shoulder.

And my bracelets are so good.

The matte gold stack has been in my closet for over a year now, and it is my most worn bracelet set to date. I love stacking it with this colorful bracelet stack too. This stack will bring the perfect pop of color to all of your spring and summer outfits.

And now this outfit is super similar to the one directly above, but I switched out the denim jacket for this cardigan. I’m wearing a small in the cardigan.

Here’s the outfit in real life. It’s chock full of basics that would serve anybody well.

The sweater is lightweight, and I love the length (covers the booty) and the classic stripes. I’m wearing a small here and it’s still a relaxed fit.

Here it is in real life…

Y’all, this cardi is soooooooooo soft and cozy. It’s lightweight, so you will be able to wear it through the spring. I fell in love with this blush, cream, raspberry, and mustard color combo – but it also comes in a blue and green combo as well as a solid black and a solid blush. The reviews are fantastic, and I agree. For size reference, I’m wearing a small and it’s still quite roomy (so you might want to consider sizing down).

This navy striped number is another example of a perfect spring sweater. I love the nautical vibe of the navy and white stripes as well as the button detail on the right shoulder. It also comes in white, yellow, and pink. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

And here’s a great outfit for the office.

The blouse went on sale just this morning, but I’m not sure how long it will remain on sale! It’s got a flowy fit and is beautiful! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but I think I could probably do a small.

These must have black pants really are the PERFECT pair of pants for a business casual environment. They’re also great for church and for other all sorts of other events. They can be dressed down with flats, but they can also be dressed up with even dressier tops and jewelry. They are really stretchy and comfortable, and they seem to be flattering on everybody. For size reference, I’m wearing a 4.

ONE PIECE SWIMSUITS

It seems many of y’all are starting to grab new things for upcoming Spring Break vacations, so I’ve had quite a few requests for swimsuit and cover up recs. I threw this together last night.

Y’all better believe I ordered this cover up the second I saw it. I got it in black last year and loved it for a totally chic beach moment, but I think this wide stripe is DARLING. Everything you see is from Amazon and totally affordable.

I’m working on a more comprehensive post, but I did want to show y’all these swimsuits I’ve highlighted before. They are both still available, and I know they’ve been a big hit with those of y’all that have already ordered them.

The ruffle swimsuit has over 25,000 5 STAR REVIEWS! WOW! It comes in several solid colors (the white and black are both so chic) as well as several different color florals, AND IT’S UNDER $35. That’s an incredible deal. If you head to the link and scroll down to the reviews, there are lots of pictures of people with all different body types in the suit. Some even leave their weight, height, and bra size for reference.  For size reference, I grabbed a medium in this suit. The straps are a little long for me (I have the shortest torso in the world), but the fit is fabulous otherwise.

The strapless swimsuit is a classic Anne Cole suit. I own two of these Anne Cole swimsuits already from year’s past (1 is a paisley and 1 is a floral), and I absolutely LOVE the fit of her strapless suits. I’m excited to add the black to my collection now. The reviews on this suit have pics too. For size reference, I wear an 8 in her suits.

COUSINS

We went to go see my nephew play in his basketball game over the weekend, and I must say, it was the absolute highlight of my week. Full disclosure, he doesn’t seem to fully understand the game of basketball :), but he is PASSIONATE about it and it sure is fun to watch. Haha!

SOME NEW FAVORITE FOOD FINDS

This Everything But The Bagel dip paired with these TJ’s pretzel sticks makes an excellent little snack.

Crunchy, creamy, tangy, salty, and a little bit sweet (the pretzels have a touch of honey in them). YUM. This dip is great with veggies too.

And if you have a Costco membership, you need to add this queso to your list asap. It’s great on its own, but we like to add leftover taco meat and/or the Pico de Gallo that I love from Walmart. It’s DELISH.
