HAPPY MONDAY, LADIES!
Get excited, because today’s post is about athleisure. We’re talking sweatshirt, leggings, jackets, sneakers, and joggers. You know, all the essentials!
But ladies, it’s the jackets today that I’m most excited about I think!
Let’s start out by singing the praises of this fleece jacket. I love it so much and think it is a really incredible value. It is warm, but it isn’t too bulky, and it is seriously cute. I fell in love with this bold color combo, but it also comes in a dark grey with cream accents and a pretty neutral cream with soft green accents.
The reviews on this jacket are excellent. And y’all know I can rarely say no to a stand-up collar. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
And while I love it with joggers, it will also look great with a sweater and your favorite denim! I know I’m going to get a ton of use out of this jacket. I think it will be my GO TO for Carter’s soccer games and for chilly nights at the ranch.
These contrasting colors are DARLING.
I’ve said this many many times before, but these joggers are a MUST HAVE for me.
I have them in several colors and wear them ALL. THE. TIME.
They have a slim but relaxed fit with a slightly cropped leg, side pockets, and drawstring. They are designed with Vuori’s softest premium stretch fabric, and you can trust me when I say that they’re going to be your new go-to.
These babies are the gateway product to the brand. I’m telling you, once you purchase the joggers and start wearing them, you will have an undeniable need to try more pieces from the brand. I can vouch for that because that’s how it went down for me. They definitely made me a believer.
I wear a small in the joggers.
And listen, I know they are pricey, but I’ve found them to be 1000% worth it to me. (In fact, I’m wearing them as I type this. After getting home from church, I couldn’t wait to slip these babies on!) 🙂
I love them.
If you haven’t tried them, just order them and give them a whirl!
Nordstrom’s return policy will allow you to easily return them in store or by mail if you don’t love them. BUT I’M TELLING YOU, YOU WILL LOVE THEM.
My favorite way to wear them around town is with a t-shirt and denim jacket. They are great to travel in as well.
On Cloud sneakers are having a moment right now. There are tons and tons of colors and styles to choose from, so click HERE to check them all out. Most of the styles are true to size for me, but I would recommend sizing up a 1/2 in the pair I have on below.
Yep, you definitely need the joggers, and you probably need the fleece.
I just call it like I see it. 😉
All right, I’ve got another jacket for y’all!
This hybrid puffer jacket is lighter weight than the fleece jacket above. It’s also longer, so I think it’s better suited for leggings.
I know it kind of looks like a vest here that’s worn over a black tee, but it’s really a mixed media jacket. The sleeves are just a different material than the body of the jacket.
It has a drawstring hood, it zips up easily, and I love the side and front pockets. For size reference, I’m wearing a small. Size up if you would like some additional length and room for layers.
The side pockets are perfect for your hands, but the front pockets snap closed and are great for holding items like keys or a phone.
I named the Zella 7/8 leggings a MUST HAVE several years ago, and they remain a must have in my closet and my heart. 😉
The 7/8 length is the perfect ankle length on me. I’m 5’4″ with long legs (and no torso) for my height, but I know the leggings stretch and they work lengthwise on taller people as well. For size reference, I wear a small in the leggings.
They have a high waist with the perfect amount of compression. They suck you in, while still allowing you to breathe, and they don’t roll down on you! The side pocket is perfect for storing your phone when you’re on a walk and want to be hands free (but still want to have your phone accessible).
You definitely need the black, but after you fall in love with them, I feel certain you will grab one of the fun colors as well. The color I’m wearing below are 50% OFF right now.
This jacket also comes in ivory.
I’m wearing the MUST HAVE joggers again here, but this time I just paired them with a simple sweatshirt. I’m wearing the purple opulence here, and although it’s fun, I wish I would have grabbed the basic black. It would go with so much more. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
MORE GREAT BASICS…
I laughed out loud when I read the online description of the sweatshirt because it’s so true: Do your casual lineup a solid with this supersoft and cozy, classic crewneck sweatshirt because it’s essential for the gym, coffee runs or couch lounging.
Do your casual lineup a solid, y’all.
This is the “ivory grey heather”, but it comes in 5 additional colors.
I’m wearing a medium and feel like it’s the perfect oversized fit on me. It’s got a bit of a high low hem, which means it’s plenty long for leggings. I did cuff the sleeves one time, so the sleeves are plenty long as well. It’s lightweight and perfect for now all the way into spring. Since it’s not thick or bulky, it will fit easily under a jacket as well when the weather calls for it.
Okay, it’s time to finally talk about this awesome sling bag. First of all, it’s super cute. Second of all, it’s super functional. And you’re not going to believe the price. Because it’s only $45.
So here’s a funny story about the bag…You see how I’m wearing the bag in front. I LOVE it like this. I felt like it was super easy to access everything, and I think it looked great. WELL. It seems as if it is actually designed to be worn with the bag in the back. Haha! Whatever, I liked it like this and I’m going to continue to wear it like this. (You can see it worn across the back on the site.)
I love the color combo in this one with the blush, mustard, and grey together. It also comes in a really pretty forest green color combo.
The back zipper opens the main compartment that’s super roomy. It has an additional slipper pocket and an additional zippered pocket inside the main compartment as well.
The front pocket has ample room too. There’s plenty of room for your wallet, your phone, keys, and some other essentials as well.
I felt cute and sporty in this outfit, and I of course felt oh so comfy.
A BLAST FROM THE PAST…
If you don’t love the idea of a fitted jacket with your lounge leggings, you can go in the exact opposite direction with this cozy wrap jacket. There aren’t many left, so grab it now if you are interested!
It’s got a funnel neck collar, snap closure, and a super cozy fleece lining. I think the relaxed styling is a lot of fun.
I would say it runs quite large because I’m in an extra small.
This long sleeve tee is still available and well stocked in this grey and black. It’s lightweight, super soft, and a great layering piece. It’s form fitting, so I probably wouldn’t wear it on its own, but it’s great under a sweatshirt or jacket.
That’s it for today, y’all!
These are a couple of your favorite brands too, right? I mean, how could they not be?!?
A huge THANK YOU to Nordstrom and Collective Voice for sponsoring this post. And don’t worry, I will of course continue to share new activewear favorites as I find them.
