Five Fun Friday Finds! and Nordstrom’s End of Season Sale!

Today’s post is short, but oh so sweet.

I’ve got FIVE really great finds for y’all today! I decided to stick to just 5 because they are all realllllllllly good. Oh, and I ended up adding a sale collage at the end because a Nordstrom sale always needs to be covered. It’s just an unspoken rule. 😉

#1 A BEAUTIFUL DRESS

Ladies. This dress is so good. In fact, it’s my favorite dress I’ve found in a long long time.

It’s GORGEOUS.

The sleeves have a subtle puff, the belted tie creates a nice waistline, and just look at the tiny pleated ruffle at the bottom of the skirt! The colors are vibrant, and the pattern is pretty and playful. Oh, and it’s a 100% crisp cotton poplin and has pockets. I KNOW. For size reference, I’m wearing an 8. I’m glad I went with the 8 because of the room I needed in the chest/rib cage. If you don’t need extra room, just go with your regular size.

I think I’m wearing it for Easter Sunday, but it will be great for all different sorts of occasions. Think graduation parties, baby showers, wedding showers, church, brunch with the girls, etc.

#2 A SWEET SWEATER

This sweater has rave reviews, and I’m so happy to have added it to my closet. I’m in the “pale teal”, but it comes in 6 color choices, and I really love the “dusty pink” too. This sweater is special. Just look at all of the pretty details! Y’all know I love an elbow-length sleeve, the scallops are so feminine, and the pointelle stitching is just lovely. I think it looks great worn casually with cream denim, but it’s definitely nice enough to wear with slacks at the office too.

We all know wide leg jeans are very on trend, and these cream wide leg jeans are so good. They’re Kut from the Kloth (a denim brand we know and trust), and I really like the stretch and overall fit. They’re definitely wide leg, but they still manage to be flattering. For size reference, I’m wearing a 4.

#3 SOME SUPER STYLISH READERS

Well, ladies. It happened.

Listen, until last year I had perfect vision. No trouble reading even the tiniest of print. Give me a grocery nutrition label… no problem. Give me a medicine bottle… EASY. Restaurant menus? Please, challenge me.

I can no longer say the same.

I now officially have issues. And it seems like it basically happened overnight! 🙁 So when Ryan Simkhai Eyeshop reached out to me to see if they could send me some glasses, I was thrilled!

I’ve bought reading glasses on Amazon (and in the checkout line at HomeGoods if we’re being honest), but I’m happy to have my first big girl readers. I LOVE that they don’t make me feel like an old lady.. and in fact, I really like the style they bring to my outfits. I mean, I’ll wearing anything at home, but when I’m out and about and have to pull a pair out of my purse to read a menu or a grocery label, I’m so happy to have these!

#4 CUTE LITTLE SET

This little set is just as cute as can be. It comes in like 18 different solid and stripe combos. I loved the solid pink set with green trim that I got last year, so I didn’t hesitate at all when I saw the new stripe options available! I’m wearing the “stripes4green”, but there’s a pink/yellow and a blue/pink combo that both look absolutely adorable. The one I’m wearing is like a green stripe on a pale blue background with very pale yellow accents.

Y’all know I’m a sucker for a cute little set, and OMG this one is a winner. You can’t tell from this picture, but it’s actually a skort! It’s soft, comfy, flattering, and you will look totally put together while you feel like you are wearing pajamas! For size reference, I’m in a medium.

#5 DENIM SHORTS

So I know I’ve been showing these denim shorts for a couple of weeks now, but I felt like they were deserving of a space in today’s five favorite finds post.

BECAUSE I LOVE THEM.

They aren’t tight at all, and they have a perfectly relaxed fit. The 4 1’2″ inseam makes them a great length on my frame. For size reference, I did size up to a 28 and I’m glad I did. I think I would even like the slouchy fit that a 29 would give me.

This cap sleeve sweater is great too. It’s a perfectly relaxed fit and so easy to throw on with denim. I’m wearing the red stripe, but I’m also really loving the sky blue and pale yellow option. For size reference, I’m wearing a small. Definitely size down if between sizes.

And are you dying over the necklace? Because I am. It’s similar to the Evereve one I’ve been screaming and shouting about, but this one is bigger, chunkier, and brighter! I really like both of them, but this one is definitely bolder.
