Happy Wednesday, y’all!
Okay, I have a question…..
HOW IS IT ONLY WEDNESDAY?
Truly, this week is absolutely CRAWLING by.
I’ve been super busy, which typically makes the days fly by, but NOPE. Not this week.
This week I’m on my hands and knees crawling to Friday.
But I’ve got good news…
If your week is slow too, I’ve got a pick-me-up for you today!
I’VE FOUND TONS OF AMAZING SPRING PIECES, and I have 3 GREAT OUTFITS to share today! I’m pretty sure everybody is going to find at least 1 piece that they have to have. I’ve got some SERIOUSLY CUTE STUFF, ladies!
OUTFIT #1
You’ve seen this denim jacket on me countless times already, as well as the sunglasses (I’ve owned them for at least 3 years), and the chunky hoop earrings (which have been my most worn earrings for 2 years now). I’ve also already spoken about these sandals several times this year and featured them in quite a few outfit collages as well.
The denim jacket is one of those pieces that I think everybody needs. You can wear it all year long, and it can be styled so many different ways. This one has some stretch in it, and I love the cut and fit (I’m wearing a medium).
BUT THIS SKIRT, Y’ALL.
This skirt is new, and it’s FABULOUS.

You just slip it on, and it’s as cute as can be. I hate a skirt with a zipper, but one you can pull on? I’M ALL IN.
God bless elastic.
It’s 100% cotton and the cutest patchwork plaid that you ever did see. I love the colors, the pattern, the length, the overall fit, AND DON”T FORGET THE ELASTIC WAIST. It’s easy, it’s breezy, and it’s DARLING.
For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
Now listen, I just checked the stock, and the availability is limited. We’re talking under 40 units in each size. That being said, if you want it, grab it!

Yep.
It’s the cutest.

Now let’s talk accessories.
The sunglasses and the earrings are two of the most worn items in my closet. I really do wear them several times a week and have for years.

The necklaces are new to me, AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOTH.
The turquoise layered necklace is so pretty and dainty, and the turquoise stone accents really make the piece special. It looks much more expensive than its $28 price tag. And y’all, I’m THRILLED with the return of a long necklace. Don’t get me wrong… I like short, pretty, and dainty necklaces too. But I’ve missed long necklaces! This long link oval necklace will go with so many different outfits.

The bag is larger than I thought it was going to be when I ordered it, but it’s dramatic and I like it! It doesn’t close at the top, so if that’s a deal breaker for you, you’ll want to keep looking. This would be great vacation bag and would look awesome styled with a beachy sundress.
I’m completely smitten with the raffia sandals. The texture! The buckle! The scalloped edge! It’s all soooo good! I sized up a 1/2 in these.

I love it all.

OUTFIT #2
And as much as I love Outfit #1, I think I might love Outfit #2 even more.
I’m wearing the same white tee as above and all of the same accessories (sunglasses, earrings, both necklaces, and bracelet set).
double patch crop jacket / white tee / mid-rise flare jeans / sunglasses / chunky hoop earrings / turquoise layered necklace / long link necklace / turquoise bracelets / slide sandals
There are several stand out pieces in this outfit, but the double patch crop jacket is at the top of the list.
It’s incredibly lightweight and a perfect spring layer. It comes in black too, but I was drawn to this pretty neutral that’s officially called “seashell beige”. I love the exaggerated collar, the large pockets, and the zipper closure. I’m wearing a medium, but I’m wondering if a small might be an even better fit.

You should probably get both necklaces and wear them all spring and summer long with me.
We can be necklace twins.

This turquoise bracelet set is totally unassuming, and I didn’t make a big deal about it the first time I highlighted it last month, but my feelings have changed. Since then, I’ve worn it pretty much every single day. The set is so easy to wear, and they are so easy to just leave on. I love the little dainty pop of color it gives to outfits.
double patch crop jacket / mid-rise flare jeans / turquoise bracelets
These mid-rise flare jeans have mixed reviews online, but I happen to think they’re awesome. They’ve got a slight flare leg, which is totally on trend, and I love the wash and the length. I’m 5’4″ with long legs for my height (and no torso! ha!). They are a shorter ankle length on the model, but they are longer on me. I like this length on me, but I think they’d be cute shorter too! They are a mid-rise, and I think they fit like a trouser jean up top with how the waistband and pockets are placed. I rarely find myself reaching for skinny jeans anymore, and I can now confidently say that I’ve fully embraced straight leg, flare leg, and boot cut options. I sized up to a 6 in these jeans for a relaxed feel.
double patch crop jacket / white tee / mid-rise flare jeans / slide sandals
These slide sandals are super casual, and I think they give a Birkenstock feel without being as clunky as Birks.

You can tell here that they have a wide footbed, and I have a narrow foot, but I still really love the look. If you are somebody that needs a lot of arch support, these sandals are on the flatter side, so consider that before purchasing. True to size for me.
I’m keeping them and am excited to have this different look (for me) in my closet now!
So what’s your favorite thing in this outfit? The jacket, the jeans, or the sandals?

OUTFIT #3
In Outfit #3 I’m wearing the denim jacket from Outfit #1 and all of the same accessories from Outfits #1 and #2.
But for this outfit, I paired it all with a striped shirtdress!
striped shirtdress / denim jacket / sunglasses / chunky hoop earrings / turquoise layered necklace / long link necklace / turquoise bracelets / leather sandals
I love a shirtdress.
I think they are super classic and totally chic, and this one is no different.
The neutral stripes are so good.
It’s a crinkled cotton poplin, which means it’s got some softness to it which I love.
It’s got a super relaxed fit and is oversized. I’m wearing a small here (and I would typically wear a medium in a dress like this), so I would suggest that most size down.

And you know me, I had to throw a denim jacket on top.

I think it’s super cute to bring the collar out and layer it over the collar of the denim jacket.

I love my raffia sandals in outfit #1, but the buckle and the material makes them feel kind of dressy.
These leather sandals are plain and simple, but in a really great way. I think this cognac color is beautiful, but they also come in a plain black, a plain white, and some sparkly options. True to size for me.

What can I say, I love an outfit that feels like pajamas, but looks totally polished.

I agree! Everything is better with a skirt that pulls on.

Those jeans look waaaaay better on you than they do on Nordstrom’s site, where they look ridiculous. I am giving them a try. Fingers crossed!
