Happy Monday, y’all! I hope everybody had a great weekend. We’ve been at the ranch with lots of friends, and we’ve spent two days on the front porch telling story after story, laughing our heads off, singing along to 90s country, floating around in the lake, and eating some of the yummiest food you can imagine. We’re talking maybe the best steaks I’ve ever had, pulled pork sandwiches that would make you want to slap your mama, and a fish fry with homemade French fries. YES M’AM.
And while that’s all really good, I’ve got something GREAT for y’all today. And all of these awesome and affordable summer finds are at Walmart!
Look how DARLING these pink slides are. The color is perfection, the canvas fabric is so chic, I love the wide band, and my word the tortoise buckle is just about the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. And while I think they look like $128 sandals, they’re actually just $24.99.
I got my regular size, but I wish I would have sized up a 1/2.
I’ve styled them sooooooo many ways since I got them a couple of weeks ago. The buckle and the fabric makes them very easy to dress up, but I also think they are super cute with a really casual outfit. Like, imagine how cute they would be with a plain white tee and distressed denim shorts!
Pink and green is always a favorite color combination, so styling them with this green dress was a no brainer.
You’ve seen me highlight this dress in 2 other colors already, so for those of you that are keeping track, I NOW HAVE 3. #nojudgementplease
The dress is 100% cotton and 200% DARLING. It’s a crisp cotton poplin and absolutely looks like it costs at least 4x more than it actually does. It’s very well made, and I feel like a million bucks in it.
Size wayyyy down. I’m in an x-small, and I’m most often a medium in dresses.
If you want to see me in the dress in the black or the vibrant pink and orange floral, click HERE.
I’m telling you, these slides are fabulous.
I decided to continue with the pink and green theme with this next look, but with this green and blue plaid smocked number.
This smocked dress is just as cute as can be. I’m wearing the green and blue plaid, but it also comes in a pink plaid as well as a really pale light blue solid (that almost looks white). This is a really sweet little dress with a smocked top, smocked straps (you’ll see these in a minute), and a tiered skirt with pockets. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
The smocked top and straps make this dress incredibly comfortable. And look how cute the tiny little pleated ruffles are! The dress has excellent reviews, and once again, the price will shock you. Would you believe me if I told you this dress was just under $25? Because it is!!!
And I love it styled with the pink slides.
You’re about to see a really simple dress, but I’ve styled it with WOW accessories to really create a great look.
I mean, look how cute.
First of all, THIS COLOR! This is the “orchid bloom” and I love it. You might remember when I featured this same dress in the coral/rose stripe (click HERE to see me in it).
It’s 100% cotton and both comfortable and flattering. It’s not thin, but not too thick either. It’s a perfect medium weight for spring and summer. There are slide slits at the hem, which allows for ease of movement. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium here for a roomy and relaxed fit. When I featured the striped dress several weeks ago I was wearing a small, so just decide on the fit you prefer.
This dress has a couple hundred 5 STAR reviews, so I’m not the only one that loves it.
You can see in this shot how it’s not a totally solid color. I can’t figure out how to describe it, but it’s almost like it’s a really aggressive heathered look. Does that make sense?
Gosh I love these sandals!
If you want to feel like you’re wearing pajamas while still looking totally pulled together, grab this dress. 😉
And for the final look today, I paired the pink slides with a simple black t-shirt dress. I love how the brighly colored accessories really pop against the black dress.
You’ve seen this dress before in both a blue and white stripe and a solid bright pink. Click HERE to see me in both.
Because let’s be real, at just $18, you might want to grab more than 1.
The dress is super simple.
AND super fabulous.
For size reference, I’m wearing a small. I do think it runs a bit big, so I would suggest sizing down 1 size.
I absolutely LOVE these slides and this bag together.
An easy, but totally cute summer look.
So what do you think? Personally, I’m so happy to have these pink slides in my closet! They add so much style and fun to so many different outfits! Can’t you see yourself styling them in lots of different ways too?
If you love the sandals but aren’t sure about committing to the pink… they also come in black and neutral.
That’s it for today, y’all!
A huge thank you to Walmart for all of their super affordable and on trend pieces and for sponsoring this post.
