Today it’s time for the 22nd installment of Conner’s Closet!!! WOW! NUMBER 22! I can hardly believe it!
I’m just so thankful that when I had this idea a couple of years ago that Conner was excited about the idea too and more than happy to come play dress up over here once a month. I know that there are so many ladies that very much appreciate the time and effort that she puts into these posts, and I’m so happy to share her office style with all of you.
In case you are new here, Conner is my little sister, and she works in HR for a hospital system. Here she is with her little guy, Brody! I MEAN. HOW CUTE ARE THEY. But lemme tell ya, don’t let this precious picture fool you. That boy will give you a run for your money. And so did his mama when she was little. #sassy #karma
And we’ve got some news to share with you! Conner is pregnant! Conner, her hubby, and Brody are excited to welcome a new little nugget into their family in October!!! Congratulations, sister!

Conner’s thoughts on all of her outfits today will be in italics, and my thoughts will be in regular font. Let me start out by saying that her super cute outfits almost make me want to work in an office. #almost
Let’s Get Started!
AND GREAT NEWS! ALMOST ALL THE PIECES ARE ON SALE!!!!
Pull on pencil skirt and sweater
You guys! How adorable is this outfit? I absolutely love the pattern and colors of the skirt. It’s precious! More importantly…this is a PULL UP skirt. That’s right, folks. No zippers, no buttons, no restrictions – PULL. UP. I decided to wear the skirt with the “everyday sweater” and it’s absolutely perfect with this skirt. You can do the half tuck or wear it totally un-tucked. It works both ways!
I also love how you can dress this outfit up or dress it down. I wore it without the denim jacket to work with some dressier block heels, but I can also wear it to work (probably on a Thursday) with the denim jacket and wedges. The skirt and sweater fit TTS (XXS and XXS) and both are machine washable, but I will lay them flat to dry!
Follow Up – I have now purchased this sweater in every color (navy and lavender!) and bought 3 more pull up skirts. I’m telling you guys…this is without a doubt the most comfortable work outfit EVER.
Conner! This outfit is absolutely DARLING! I think I’m going to grab the sweater and the skirt for myself. I mean, I already have the jacket and some wedges, so why not!
SALE ALERT: The sweater is 40% OFF + an additional 10% OFF, and the skirt is 30% OFF + an additional 10% OFF!
sweater / must have denim jacket (in “sweet new”)/ necklace / pull on pencil skirt (online exclusive)/ wedge option (find must have wedges in black HERE)

Split Neck Blouse, Frayed Floral Scarf, Skinny Marissa Pants
Have I convinced you guys to purchase the Marisa pants in every color? If not, I hope this post makes you pull the trigger! This outfit screams professional and can be worn with and without the scarf…but I’m definitely partial to the look with the scarf. The print is SO pretty and really takes the outfit to the next level. Also, let’s talk about the sleeves on the blouse – I love a good bell sleeve and this is no exception. I neglected to take a photo without the scarf (so sorry!), but it has a slight v neck. It doesn’t plunge, but I still recommend wearing a nude color cami because the blouse is sheer.
As always, the Marissa skinny pants fit like a glove and are super comfortable and slimming! All items fit TTS (00 and XXS) and are machine washable.
SALE ALERT: The blouse, scarf, and pants are all 30% OFF + an additional 10% OFF!
blouse / scarf / black skinny pants / nude patent pump option

Floral Mixed Media Sweater and Skinny Marissa Pants
Business in the front, party in the back! You guys – this light weight sweater is probably my favorite thing in my closet right now! The front is a heather gray color and the back is a gorgeous navy blue, gold, gray, and light blue print. It’s to die for! This sweater also transitions well from business to casual – I paired it with skinny jeans and a pair of gray booties for a date night last weekend!
It’s super comfortable and it’s not sheer, so you don’t need to wear a cami underneath. And again, I’m wearing my navy Marisa skinny pants…just get the pants already! Both pieces are TTS (XXS and 00) and machine washable, but I will either hang them or lay them flat to dry.
I own several LOFT mixed media sweaters, and I love them all! They are so easy to wear and always look great.
SALE ALERT: The sweater is 40% OFF with an additional 10% OFF and the black pants are 30% OFF with an additional 10% OFF!

Floral Tie Neck Mixed Media Blouse and Marissa Skinny Back Slit pants
Hellllllo, spring! This outfit makes me excited for warmer weather! The pink, beige, and plum colors work so well together for a fresh look! One of the things I love about the top is that the front looks like a blouse, but the back is an extremely soft knit – so cozy! The description online says it has three quarter length sleeves with elasticized cuffs, but as you can see in the photo, the sleeves are full length (and I don’t have short arms, trust me)!
This top will easily transition from business to casual and looks great with skinny jeans! Also, if pink pants aren’t your thing, this top also looks great with skinny black pants! Both items fit TTS (XXS and 00). Both pieces are machine washable and I will hang them to dry.

Now I’m going to show you a couple of outfits from her post last month since some of the awesome pieces are still available!
Side Tie Wrap Sweater and Skinny Check Ankle Pants, Pearlized Dangle Necklace
I love this outfit! I don’t know how many pairs of Marisa pants I have…but trust me, I can never have enough. (If you have a curvy figure, you might like the Julie pants better.) These pants fit great and are super slimming! The check is blue, white, and black – so it looks super cute paired with white or black. For this post, I decided to wear it with this adorable side tie wrap sweater.
You guys – this sweater is awesome! It is so cozy and flattering, and it comes in a dark navy too. The side tie creates a bit of a waist and it has a deep v-neck, so you may need to wear a tank or cami underneath. It is a thick knit so it will keep you warm especially if your office is FREEZING like mine.
The pants (00 petite) and top (XXS) both fit true to size. I will wash both and lay them flat to dry.
Conner, this outfit is PRECIOUS. I think the sweater is great dressed up with these work pants, but it would also look great with jeans!
SALE ALERT: This side tie sweater is on SUPER SALE! It’s already ON SALE…and then it’s 40% OFF and an additional 10% OFF. The pants are on super sale too. Already ON SALE…and then 30% OFF and an additional 10% OFF!

Textured Stripe Tie Neck Blouse and Floral Vine Jacquard Shift Skirt
This outfit just screams SPRING! This shift skirt is unique and I received so many compliments when I wore it to work. The detailing makes it look very expensive. The colors are vibrant and really stand out. The top I originally ordered to wear with it didn’t work out – I was so disappointed, but I highly recommend wearing it with this piped collar split neck blouse. There’s a little bit of white woven in the skirt, and wearing it with a white top really makes it stand out. It’s gorgeous!
The top (XXS) and skirt (00 petite) are both true to size. I will definitely hand wash or take this skirt to the dry cleaners.
I love a shift skirt and think they are great on so many different body types. And the floral jacquard makes this one special!

Elizabeth says
These posts are very helpful to me. Thank you, Conner!
Sarah says
Love the work wear posts! Curious about the travel agency as my family loves going to Disney. I looked into using them once but didn’t understand their fee as Disney approved agencies don’t have a fee.
Sheaffer says
Hi, Sarah! We never really travel, so I’m not really sure! But I’m sure Shay can answer that question for you! Her e-mail is in the post. xoxo, Sheaffer 🙂
Laurie S says
Great outfits! I see spring in the horizon! Congratulations to Connor and her family on their upcoming addition to the family… Will Connor continue with the workwear series as her pregnancy progresses?
Sheaffer says
I think she will! She remained pretty tiny throughout her last pregnancy, and I’m almost positive she just sized up in normal clothes! xoxo, Sheaffer 🙂
Tammy says
Congratulations to Connor! How exciting! I do love these workwear posts and have purchased many items because of them. However, this time two of the outfits were repeats from previous posts. I would rather have a shorter post than the rehashing of old outfits.
Sheaffer says
Hi, Tammy! I always appreciate feedback. I almost always highlight items previously shown when I see that they are on sale. I did make it clear that they were outfits from a previous post, and I just figured that some people might have liked an item, but not purchased it when previously shown…but they might at the sale price! I’ll continue to show sale items for that reason, but I do understand how it might be annoying to some. So sorry! xoxo, Sheaffer
Jennifer says
Please please please tell me that Conner will do maternity clothing options. I am due In September and need some maternity clothing help!!
Sheaffer says
Hi, Jennifer! I will definitely ask her to share any great maternity pieces she finds! If I remember correctly though, she didn’t wear lots of maternity clothes last time. I think she just ordered up a couple of sizes. I’ll keep y’all posted! xoxo, Sheaffer 🙂
Casey says
Excited for Connor and her family! How old is her little boy? He’s adorable!!
Sheaffer says
Hi, Casey! Brody is 5! And he’s the cutest! xoxo
