The second I saw the Pinterest picture I knew I was really going to love the look,
and I TOTALLY did! Even though I didn’t totally love my shirt, I still loved the overall look.
I only had 1 sleeveless white shirt in my closet, and I was so glad I had it to pull to create this look.
In case you don’t have one in your closet, I found lots of good options for you!
(And..this outfit helped me realize that I really need a good white summer shirt
that I DO love!)
I really like THIS one. It’s more expensive than the other options I’m about to give, but I think it would be a great basic for my your our closet!

just a great look!
I also have some pendant options for you too! I have 2 different pendant necklaces in my closet (the one above and the Kimberly necklace that I ADORE) and I find myself reaching for both all the time. I think it’s good to have some long pendant necklaces in your jewelry collection. Sometimes an outfit just needs something long like one of these to help break up the shirt and add interest to the outfit! If you don’t have a pendant necklace, you might want to strongly consider picking up one of these babies! I think #3 and #4 are probably the most versatile.

The shirt comes in several colors and looks like it could definitely be a very versatile piece in your wardrobe. The tweed jacket is DARLING. I’m a little worried about the length of the collar, but I love everything else about it so much that I will definitely be giving it a try. “Wine” definitely seems to be the color of the season. The boot cut jeans are from Kut from the Kloth (which is who made my beloved denim jacket). I’ve heard great things about their jeans, so I’m excited to try them. I think the “LOVE” necklace is so sweet, it’s a great price, and it comes in both gold and silver. The cognac color of the cross body is perfection. I also think the bag is a great size (and of course a great price)!
I will continue to scour nordstrom.com for amazing deals from the Anniversary Sale, and I look forward to showing you my picks that I actually got to see and try on later in the week!

Do you sometimes update your posts? Like do you publish a post but then go back to add a link or another item or a picture or an update on a sale? I was also getting your posts like a million times on Feedly, and I thought that might be why (although if you don't update, then that would not be why). Anyway, I switched over to Bloglovin' and am not having that happen there. And if anyone else wants to switch to Bloglovin' as their reader, there are good instructions on there for migrating your feeds from Google Reader. And there is also an Android app and an iPhone/iPad/iPod app for those who use one. I actually ended up liking Bloglovin' a smidge better than I liked Feedly.

i love clothes too, but since i wear scrubs 5 out of 7 days, my shopping consists mostly of old navy.
i am 34 and have a 10 year old boy. we are getting some pictures made in a few weeks and would love a few outfit pieces to get for both of us… not to matchy matchy, but coordinating.
