LADIES! We are talking ALL ABOUT BEAUTY today, and I am super excited to share my BEST OF SEPHORA picks.
I did my first ever Sephora Haul last May, and I’ve been hooked on shopping Sephora ever since, ESPECIALLY during their Bonus Events. I also covered their Summer Bonus Event in August, and then I did another post in September.
I reviewed lots of products during those 3 posts, and I gave honest reviews of everything I tried. I genuinely loved many of the products, but over the last year, I’ve had definite favorites emerge. They are products that I use EVERY SINGLE DAY and am now incredibly loyal to. So, the majority of today’s post is dedicated to these personal tried and true favorites of mine. I will also be sharing 1 new to me product AND letting y’all know what I got for myself during this event.

WHAT I GRABBED YESTERDAY
I thought I would start out telling y’all what I grabbed for myself yesterday. I’m VIB, so I got to shop for 15% OFF! I restocked some of my favorites that I was running low on, but I also added new things to my cart as the result of being #INFLUENCED.
* I’m so pumped to try this lip gloss stick (I grabbed the “One Mauve Time” described as a soft berry-mauve ). It’s been described as glossy (but not sticky) with a great universal color and staying power! #influenced
* I can’t remember if I’ve ever talked about this before, but I’m OBSESSED with this Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. I honestly cannot go to bed without sweeping this mask over my lips. I use it EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT. I use it during the day too, but I’m telling you, I HAVE TO USE IT AT NIGHT. I love the vanilla.
* Because I love the above lip mask so much, I new I had to get this lip glowy balm (from the same maker) the second I saw it. I got the grapefruit and will throw it in my purse for use during the day.
* This make up brush cleaner spray has excellent reviews. It’s quick drying and is being called dry shampoo for your makeup brushes. At only $15, I felt like I had nothing to lose.
* When I went to the Drybar to get a blow out before the Manda Strong gala, they put this finishing cream on my hair after they styled it. And I fell in love. It makes my hair sooo incredibly soft and gives it a boost of shine as well.
* I grabbed the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream even though I still have half a jar left because I couldn’t resist 15% OFF.
NEW TO ME PRODUCT
The one new to me product I’m talking about today is the SuperGoop Glow Screen. I picked it up at Nordstrom about a month ago (and have been using it ever since), but I’ve waited to talk about it until now so y’all could grab it at the sale price! I’ve loved Supergoop products for years and highly recommend them (click HERE for all Supergoop products) , so I was super excited to see this new offering.
It’s a makeup primer with SPF40! And the best part is that it has a pearlescent finish which gives you an immediate glow. On a no makeup day (I’ve had A LOT of those lately), I sometimes wear only this. I feel like I get a tiny bit of coverage, and I of course love the SPF.
MY TRIED AND TRUE FAVORITES
Let’s start out by talking about the Drunk Elephant Sunshine Drops. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT AND HAVE USED IT EVERY DAY I’VE WORN MAKEUP SINCE I FIRST DISCOVERED IT. I combine them with my Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream…and I’m telling you….MAGIC happens.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream / Drunk Elephant Sunshine Drops
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream – This is one of the new products I added into my routine after reading about it on several blogs and in several “BEST OF” beauty articles, and now I’ve been using it for close to a year now. Lots of users compared it to the much more expensive La Mer line, but said they preferred this product! That was it, I was convinced I needed to try it. Officially, it’s a cream that floods skin with moisture for a glowing complexion in a flash. A little goes a long way with this cream, and it’s not greasy, but it is incredibly hydrating. There is a very light rose scent to this cream, and I don’t normally care for rose, but it doesn’t bother me at all.
I’m now devoted to it. It has a cult following and a large group of women that absolutely swear by it. I’m now a part of that group.
Drunk Elephant Sunshine Drops – This product is awesome. AWESOME. You can wear it by itself, or you can mix it in with a moisturizer or serum. I obviously mix it with the magic cream. It gives you a really pretty glow with a bit of coverage immediately! It’s very sheer, and I love the amount of color and coverage it gives. I used to think I would only use this on occasion, but it has replaced foundation for me, and I now just use this. These drops also have a lot of amazing ingredients in it that are great for your skin. It’s made of vitamins, antioxidants, platinum peptides, and barrier-supportive fatty acids that defend skin from environmental free radicals. YES, PLEASE!
Below you can see how I just add a pump to the magic cream and then blend it together before applying it all over my face and neck. I’m telling you, it just gives your face a wonderfully healthy looking GLOW.

Isle of Paradise Self Tanning Drops – This is one of those blogger products that I’d been hearing about for well over a year. I’d been dying to try it and had tried to purchase it several times, but it was always sold out.
Well, it finally got restocked and I jumped on it last summer.
The verdict? Did it live up to all of the blogger hype?
The answer is HECK YES. This product has blown me away.
Here’s what you do. You mix drops of it into your favorite moisturizer (again, I use this Charlotte Tilbury one). The more drops, the deeper the tan. You rub it all over your face, being careful not to miss any spots. And within a couple of hours, a “tan” develops. It’s magical really. (Make sure you wash your hands very well afterwards.)
I appreciate that you can control the deepness of your tan with the number of drops you use. They call it “controlling your glow”, and I’m here for it.
I grabbed the medium formula, and I’ve been using 3 healthy sized drops with moisturizer. I feel like it gives me an even bronze glow that’s not streaky or orange. Now that we’re getting closer to summer, I’m going to up the number of drops to achieve a deeper glow, but I’m going to do it gradually.
I think it’s best to apply it at night so it can develop while sleeping. When using 3 drops, the color fades in about 3 days, so I think I will probably use this product about twice a week right now. When I up the number of drops, the “tan” might stick around longer and I might go longer between uses.
I would like to direct your attention to my arm in the picture below. Do you see the horizontal stripe below my wrist and the vertical stripe down my forearm? That’s my sun-kissed glow’, y’all! I tested the product on my arm before using it on my face, and I think it shows the results quite nicely!
If you are still on the fence, I highly recommend hopping over to the site to read some of the other reviews. Because MY GOODNESS, people are obsessed with this product.

NARS blush / Fenty highlighter duo / Charlotte Tilbury Magic Powder / bronzer brush
NARS blush – I like a bright pink blush (my shade is called “Amour”), and this one does the trick. I love the rosy hue! For those of you that don’t love a pink, the Nars “orgasm” shade is supposed to be a universally flattering color.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Powder – Believe the name. This powder is magic. Officially, it’s “a loose setting powder that blurs imperfections, veils shadows, and visibly boosts radiance.” I swipe it on, and I love the look. It really does seem to just even everything out and give a beautiful matte finish, without settling in lines! Some reviewers complain of a smell, but I haven’t noticed anything! I’m Color 1, which is fair.
Bobbi Brown Bronzer Brush – I like my brush and have used it for years, but it doesn’t have great reviews, so click HERE for other brush choices.
Fenty highlighter duo – This highlighter duo has 2,688 5 STAR reviews. It’s a cream powder hybrid that “melts into skin”. I like it a lot, but I don’t think I know how to use it to its maximum potential. I need to go back in to Sephora for a little tutorial, but right now I just put it along the top edge of my blush line and down the bridge of my nose. It definitely gives a radiant boost to my face.
One review made me realize the fact that I probably need pointers on how to use it….she said “Trophy Wife” makes my face look like God himself descended from heaven, grazed his almighty fingers across the highlights of my face, and said “let there be light.” I mean, that’s a rousing endorsement!
**********************************
This Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask is a product that I now swear by. I keep it on my nightstand and use it every single night. Like, I can’t go to sleep if I don’t have it on, and I travel with it too.
I don’t suffer from dry and flaky lips, which is what this product really targets, but I do love going to bed at night with super moisturized lips and my goodness does this product deliver. It has a great little silicon applicator that it comes with so you don’t have to stick your finger into the product, and the product totally glides on your lips. For me, it just gives me extra silky and smooth lips. If you suffer from dry and flaky lips, this is going to be a game changer for you. If you apply a thick layer at night, when you wake up the next morning, the flakes are going to be sitting on top of the skin. They then recommend taking a damp wash cloth to wipe the flakes away.
I got the vanilla because I didn’t want any color on my lips to transfer to my pillow while sleeping, and applying this is now definitely part of my nighttime routine. It has over 5,000 5 star reviews, and I have several friends that swear by it as well.
(Please take a minute to look in the background to see the sweet fuzzy baby head up top and my super skinny and toned arms peeking out in that picture on the right. #thattonedarmdeservesrespect)

The eyeliner and the lash primer are products I’ve used for years and absolutely swear by.
Stila Eyeliner / Diorshow Eyelash Triple Volume Lash Primer/ Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes mascara
Stila Eyeliner – This liquid eyeliner is one of my tried and true products that I cannot live without. It is by far my favorite eyeliner product I’ve ever used, and I can’t imagine ever switching. I use the grey (called “alloy”) because the black is too stark for me. It glides on SO easily, and it stays on with no smudging during the day. Now, don’t let the “liquid” title scare you. It is like a very fine tip marker that you just easily glide on for a very clean line, and you can decide if you want a thin or a thick line. It doesn’t skip, it doesn’t smudge (it really does stay all day), and it’s so easy. I can apply it in 1 stroke using only one hand! No need to pull the eye taught or anything!
Diorshow Eyelash Triple Volume Lash Primer – I SWEAR BY THIS PRODUCT and have for years. I sweep it on my lashes right before I put on my mascara. It both lengthens and plumps my lashes with white fibers, but they don’t fall off into my eyes. It’s pretty magical. It goes on white, so you do have to wear mascara over it, but the white doesn’t show through after the mascara goes on. I do one eye with the lash extender and then the mascara before moving to the other eye. I’ve found that my results are best when the mascara goes on before this product dries.
**********************************
I’ve been wearing Jo Malone scents for at least 3 or so years now. They are all light scents that I can wear all day long without being bothered (lots of perfumes bother me after a couple of hours). I enjoy wearing them on their own, and I enjoy mixing them as well. Right now, my two favorites are the Peony and Blush Suede and the Lime, Basil, and Mandarin. I love the smaller bottles because they are awesome to travel with too.
**********************************
Moroccanoil– I’d been hearing about this product for years from friends, and I finally tried it. And now that I have, I feel so stupid for waiting so long. BECAUSE IT’S AMAZING. It’s used for conditioning, styling, and finishing. It claims to detangle, speed up drying time, and boost shine. It does not contain Parabens, Sulfates, or Phthalates.
The main benefits I’ve noticed is that it tames flyaways and BOOSTS THE SHINE LIKE CRAZY. My hair is silkier, softer, and more manageable. It’s seriously SO SOFT and SO SHINY.
I do wish it came with a pump dispenser, but I just turn it over with my middle finger placed on top to make sure I don’t pour too much out at a time. I rub it on my palms or on my fingertips, and then I apply the oil all throughout my hair. It’s not greasy, but it’s incredibly moisturizing. It doesn’t weigh my hair down, and it smells amazing.
My hair has never looked or felt better.
**********************************
Kevin Aucoin Eyelash Curler – I’d never used an eyelash curler in my makeup routine until I picked this one up last year. I threw this one in my cart on a whim based on reviews I read, and I love it. There was a bit of a learning curve for me since I’ve never used one before, but I’m getting the hang of it. I start at the base of my lashes and pulse up for a nice curved curl. The first several times I used it I didn’t pulse (and I squeezed too hard), and I had bent lashes instead of curled lashes. Not a good look.
If you are used to using an eyelash curler, you should be able to use this one without any trouble. No pinching and incredible reviews!
Huda Beauty New Nude Eye Shadow Palette – This “all-in-one eye shadow palette consists of 18 highly-pigmented shades, ranging from flattering mattes to shimmer-drenched hues, and has everything you need to transform your lids.”
This Huda Beauty Palette is gorgeous, and I’m having fun with it, but I don’t know enough about applying eye makeup to really use it to its full potential. I have played around with it some, and I find that I like to apply one of the matte colors all over the lid, and then I wet a flat brush to press in the glitter shadows. If you do know a thing or two about applying eye shadow, I’m thinking you will be OBSESSED. I mean, it does have over 1,000 5 star reviews.
Look how pretty the colors are. I wish that a brush was included, but that’s the only complaint I have.
There are 18 eye shadows in all that include matte shadows, glitter shadows, and pearlized shadows.
**********************************
Sol De Janeiro Bum Bum Cream – Okay, this product has been all over blogger’s feeds for a good long while. People scream and shout about it. People say it smells like a little piece of Heaven. People says they will never go without it. But even with all of the hype, I’m going to be honest, I had no idea what it was for. WELL. It’s what it sounds like. It’s cream. For your bum bum. But not just your bum bum. For your whole body really. It’s thick and rich, and it’s supposed to combat dryness, dullness, and uneven texture. And it’s formulated to promote firmness and elasticity. In a nutshell, after reading tons of online reviews (and seeing some before and after pictures), users are reporting that it combats cellulite! WHOAH.
I like that it’s not oily or greasy, and it really just absorbs into the skin. It has a very subtle shimmer to it, but don’t let that scare you! It’s VERY subtle.
If you have issues with cellulite, the reviews on the site will convince you that you HAVE to try this cream. Other reviewers say it’s worked wonders on their dry and cracked heels and hands, so I’m going to start putting it on my heels for sure.
If you want to pamper your skin and perhaps have smoother and less dimply legs, try it!
**********************************
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick – When I did my 5 Minute Face post back in the Spring, I wanted to give 3 varying shade choices for lipsticks (a berry, a red, and a nude). I went with “Pillow Talk” for my nude, and I’ve been very happy with it.
I’d never owned a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick before, and I found that I really liked the brand. It stays on well (YAY!), and it wasn’t drying to my lips (YAY!). I grabbed the “berry pink” and love it so much. I especially love it paired with the gloss below.
Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Glass Bomb Lip Lumizer – I’m a lip gloss lover, but I’m SUPER picky. It can’t be sticky, it can’t have a weird smell, it needs to have staying power for a gloss, and it needs to be VERY SHINY. After seeing the number of 5 star reviews and reading the words “explosive shine”, I grabbed this one. It goes on very smoothly, the applicator is a good size and shape, it’s hydrating, and it truly offers explosive shine.
This very well could be my favorite lip gloss ever. I got the shimmering rose nude, but I’m definitely going to grab the shimmering pink as well. One more thing I love about it? The scent! It smells like peaches and vanilla. It’s not overwhelming at all though, it’s just delightful.

Erika Slaughter says
That Bum Bum cream is incredible!!
Genna Fincher says
1. My all time favorite lip gloss is Lancôme lip lacquer gloss. It stays on and is not sticky. Great colors. My favorite nude is 308. I have recommended to many friends and they love it!
2. I was late to the brow game! I recently tried Anastasia brow definer and it is subtle, but makes my eyebrows stand out a bit. When I don’t have much make-up on this can really help!
3. It was hard to find the right bronzer. I felt most were too heavy or dark. I love Hourglass Ambient lighting bronzer in nude bronze light. It’s soft, pretty and part of my daily routine
Sheaffer says
Hi, Genna! 1 and 3 sound right up my alley!!!! xoxo
Courtney says
Can you share a link for your organizers? Thank you!!
Sheaffer says
Hi, Courtney! I talk about them in the bottom of this post: https://sheaffertoldmeto.com/amazon-winners-2019-part-ii/ There’s a picture of the lazy susan organizer, but right above it there is also a text link for the other organizer I have! Just copy and paste that post link into your browser! xoxo
Courtney says
Perfect! Found them. Thanks so much!
Michelle P says
My 3 favorite:
1. CT Magic cream
2. Dior lash primer
3. Living Proof dry shampoo- the best dry shampoo and I feel like I’ve tried them all.
The first 2 are already your favorites and they became mine after you told me to buy them last year. ?
Ashley says
Tarte shape tape and amazon clay foundation! And I really like the Naked palates.
Erika says
Hello! I don’t have anything I truly recommend to you! I’m trying all the things you share so that I can find what is my must haves!! Thank you for everything you share and the information you give!!
Erika says
My email was not right
Tabitha says
I want to try the tanning drops but I ordered a new Laura mercier powder and the Gucci mascara.
Alexis deZayas says
Try the Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray!! You can of course use it on bare skin but can even use it over your makeup throughout the day if you’re feeling like you need a little moisture and it won’t mess it up!! I keep a bottle at home and at work and love how refreshing it feels!
Sheaffer says
Hey, Alexis! That sounds great! Going to go over and read about it now! Thanks for the tip. xoxo
Kathy says
Olaplex has helped my hair so much! It’s been a lifesaver for thick, wavy, and coarse hair.
I really want to try Charlotte Tilbury’s pressed powder.
Lancôme’s primer is really good.
Thanks for your recommendations
Sheaffer says
Hey, Kathy! I’ve been hearing so much about the Olaplex from friends! I totally need to try it! And I use Charlotte Tilbury’s loose powder, I need to try the pressed as well. Thanks for the tips! xoxo
Taylor says
I’m a loyal user of the entire Drunk Elephant line, but my 2 favorites are the vitamin c spray and the babyfacial. I bought the CT magic cream and the sunshine drops because of you and love them so much. I’m grabbing those Isle of Paradise drops as soon as I can shop tomorrow!
Sheaffer says
Hi, Taylor! That reminds me that I’ve tried and loved the babyfacial! It must stuck at the back of a cabinet or drawer or something because I’ve totally forgotten about it. The vitamin c spray sounds awesome! xoxo
Stephanie says
The Tatcha primer has been a complete game changer for me. My make up looks so much better at the end of the day as a direct result of this product. You totally need to try it.
Sheaffer says
Thanks, Stephanie! I’ve heard great things about Tatcha products and this one sounds great. Thanks for the recommendation! xoxo
Stephanie says
Hi Sheaffer! Well, thanks to your recommendation months ago, I purchased the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream and the Drunk Elephant Anti-Pollution drops. I use this combo daily and love it!! I have always loved Drunk Elephant’s B Hydra Intensive Serum. “It’s like a cool drink of water for your skin,” (from the Sephora website) I would have to agree. I mix one pump of it with their marula oil and vitamin C drops before anything else goes on my face. I have used the Bum Bum cream for over a year. The smell makes me happy. Always look forward to your reviews.
Sheaffer says
Hi, Stephanie! I’m so glad you love the Magic Cream and Sunshine Drops combo too! I love it so much and wish everybody would give it a try! The serum sounds awesome, I’m going to read more about it right now! xoxo
Brianne says
I love the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream thanks to your recommendation!
I have a bit of a mask problem (like a drawer full). I love them. The two I recommend from Sephora are the Glow Watermelon mask and the Drunk Elephant Babyfacial.
Sheaffer says
Hi, Brianne! The magic cream is truly amazing, right? That glow watermelon mask sounds amazing!!!! xoxo
Georgia H says
I see the Melanie Shankle book on your nightstand. I love her books and I don’t have that one. Have you done a review on her books? Do you know her? I think she is so funny and very real!!
Thanks for the Sephora reviews- my basket is full!!
Sheaffer says
Hi, Georgia! Yes, I know Melanie and we have been able to hang out on a couple of different occasions! She is hysterical (both on the page and in person), and I’ve absolutely loved all of her books (and y’all know I don’t even read)! I don’t think I’ve ever done official reviews, only to say things like “this book is awesome”. I think I’ve laughed and cried with each of her books. xoxo
Christy says
Thank you!! Can’t wait to try some of these things and I already had some in my basket! I’m curious what you use for daily SPF? My day moisturizer has spf that I need. I don’t know if that plus your other two combos of drunk elephant and Magic cream would be too much?
Sheaffer says
Hi, Christy! I’ve used many different things in the past, but right now I’m using the Supergoop Glowscreen Primer as my SPF! I love both the protection it gives and the finish on my face! xoxo
Allison D says
I recently discovered the Kaja heart Melter Lip Gloss Stick. I have it in the shade Too Hot and it is a lovely red without feeling like it is an over the top red.
If you need brushes the Sephora Pro line is excellent!! They make some sets for eyes and face if you need more than just one.
And if you don’t have a Makeup Eraser you definitley NEED one of those. It is a game changer!!
My last recommendation isn’t sold at Sephora but it has become my Holy Grail of mascara…it’s Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extension Mascara.
I haven’t tried any Charlotte Tilbury as of yet bt plan to pick something up during this sale. What is your favorite?
Sheaffer says
Hi, Allison! I’ve heard great things about the Thrive mascara! And yes, I have a makeup eraser and love it so much. I’m going to go check out your other recommendations now. I don’t need new eye brushes, but I definitely need some new bronzer and powder brushes! xoxo
Nancy A says
Sheaffer, thanks for your honest reviews! I purchased the Isle of Paradise drops to try. I have several things I love from Sephora, the St Tropez self tanning mousse is great and the Anastasia Brow Wiz pencil is a must for me every day. I love the bonus event time to grab my favorite foundation, Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk, which is pretty spendy even with the discount but it’s the best!
Sheaffer says
Thanks for the recs, Nancy! I have a self tanner I love, but I keep hearing about that mousse! xoxo
Annie says
Do you use both the Drunken Elephant drops and the Isle of Paradise drops at the same time? Are they both self tanners?
Sheaffer says
Hi, Annie! The Isle of Paradise is a self tanner, but the Drunken Elephant drops is more of a sheer foundation (not a self tanner at all). Hope this helps! xoxo
Annie says
Thanks!!
Ginny says
I love the Josie Maran Argan Cleansing Oil. I am on probably my 8th bottle. I use it for my double cleanse and it takes everything off effortlessly. It was recommended by a Sephora employee when I said I wanted to try something new and I highly recommend. I also love the Peace Out Acne Dots. They really work! Put them on a blemish and when you wake up all of the yucky stuff is sucked up on the dot. It clears your blemishes super fast. I also love the Laura Mercier loose powder it is one of the best and goes on so well over your foundation.
Sheaffer says
I’m adding those Peace Out Acne Dot to my cart right now, Ginny! I’m officially intrigued!!! xoxo
Shay Shull says
That glow screen is my new fave!!
Veronica Jones Sheehan says
Hi! I know this is crazy pricey, but at 20% off it might be worth it! Would love if you would try and review this before the sale is over!!! DYSON

That looks amazing, Veronica! And the reviews are fabulous. Hmmmmmmmmm……
Kim says
Hi!
I was wondering where you found your clear makeup organizers? I’ve recently refurbished an old sewing table my dad made for my mom when they were newly married to use as a makeup table. I’m now in the process of looking for organizers for whatever doesn’t fit in the one drawer. Yours look perfect.
Sheaffer says
Hi, Kim! They are from Amazon!
Kim says
Thank you!
Kimberly Clayton says
Drunk Elephant “Night Bright”—a combo of two products—TLC Framboos Glycolic Night Serum and Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil. A drop of each mixed together and patted on your face at night. Game changers!
LeeAnn says
If you love the Moroccan oil, you’ll love the Protect & Prevent Spray. And it smells great! I use that and the oil.
I use and love so many of your recommentdations!
Stacy says
Question – so I use the isle of paradise drops and love them! Because I use those, I’ve never gotten the sunshine drops. Can you explain the difference or should I be adding both to my routine???
Stacy says
Nevermind you answered above. Thanks!!!
Sheaffer says
Hi, Stacy! The Isle of Paradise drops are a self tanning drop, and the results will last several days. I use the Drunk Elephant Sunshine Drops as a really light coverage foundation, so the sunshine drops are simply makeup that I apply each day! Hope this helps! xoxo
Jessica says
DR. DENNIS GROSS SKINCARE Alpha Beta Extra Strength Daily Peels are awesome! They really help smooth and clear your skin – they create a glow!
Michelle Diniakos says
Hi! I have a question…been dying to try the Isle of Paradise tanning drops, but here is my concern. I have brown sun spots on my face and I’m wondering if the tanning drops will make them darker. Thanks for all your great content!!
Sheaffer says
Hey, Michelle! I have them on my face too :(, but I haven’t noticed that they are any darker. Great question! xoxo
Robin OSBORNE says
I am very curious about the Isle of Paradise drops because I have freakishly sensitive skin and can’t seem to find anything that won’t make me break out in an itchy rash. Red, irritated bumps are not the looks I am going for. I’ve tried Clinique, St Tropez and Rodan and Fields self tanners. I wonder if using the drops with my hypoallergenic lotion (Vanicream) would work? Have any readers remarked on having reactions to the drops?
Sheaffer says
Hi, Robin! I’ve talked about the Isle of Paradise drops several times, and I can’t recall ever seeing anything about the drops causing an adverse reaction. It does seem like a great idea to combine it with your lotion that you know and love! If you try it, let me know if it works! xoxo
Kellie Clouse says
I have so many favorites it’s hard to name one but if I had to it would be Hourglass Veil setting powder, or the Tatcha Silk Canvas primer or The Fenty Brow MVP, see I can’t name just one ?. Anyway hope you have a great day and you and your family stay happy and healthy.
Beck says
Good morning! Thank you for your honest reviews. Always so helpful. I got the bum bum cream last time and LOVE it. Question – you show the Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes mascara above but I don’t see your review of it? Or did I miss it? I’d love to know what you think. Thank you!
Sheaffer says
Morning! I reviewed it in one of my previous Sephora hauls and liked it, but after extended use, I fell out of love. I don’t remember why exactly (I think the formula ended up getting really clumpy), but I no longer give it two thumbs up! xoxo
Alice h says
I love the Sephora brand face masks and lip balms. They are around $4-$7 and I buy them often to use on myself and to include in gifts for friends/teens/teachers/etc.
Sheaffer says
Great gift idea, Alice!
Melanie F says
Hi Sheaffer! Love all of your recommendations and ordered several from this post!
Here are my three favorites: It Cosmetics CC+ Cream Illumination, Ole Henrikson Goodnight Glow Creme and Lancôme Genifique Youth Activating Serum. (I do not go to sleep without putting the last one on! It is THE best!)
Jennifer says
I love loveee all of the drunk elephant products!
Sarah says
Love your reviews. I am obsessed with all things Laneige! I’m hoping to get ahold of the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream.
Susan Sodek says
Thank you for all of the recommendations! I love Drunk Elephant and took advantage of this sale to pick up some of my favorites. I love La La Retro moisturizer. It is a great everyday moisturizer…not too heavy, not too light. I also picked up DE’s F-Balm. I mix that with La La twice a week for an overnight facial. I wake up to super soft skin. The third item I picked up Tarte’s In Bloom eye shadow palate. Great shade for every day. I haven’t tried Charlotte Tillbury but I am interested in the shade of lipstick you mentioned along with the magic cream. Thank you again for sharing!
Kathryn says
I’m a mascara snob, so when I got a sample of the Sephora brand mascara in one of theIr monthly play boxes, I was pretty skeptical. Wow, I was blown away! It was really impressive, especially for the price. It’s as good as many high-end options! https://m.sephora.com/product/lashcraft-big-volume-mascara-P420612?skuId=1921709&om_mmc=ppc-GG_1165716881_53825938700_aud-299050440198:pla-419487282909_1921709_257731947962_9027253_m&country_switch=us&lang=en&ds_rl=1261471&gclid=CjwKCAjw-YT1BRAFEiwAd2WRtgErBecr5vjP5bBH1XIN6-U4WEqVP6dyy3AS7Q9OLdiuDMZeE0vhIxoCH0gQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

I love the opalex hair products! They have been a game changer for my hair!! I also recently discovered Mario bedescu drying lotion for my teen- anger’s acne. They love it and have me ordering it on repeat. For my husband he loves jack black beard lube. He has tried countless shaving creams for his sensitive skin and this is his favorite (think Father’s Day). There are so many products I love and my family loves I could go on and on!! Thank you Scheaffer I ordered some of your recommendations – I’m on my way to Rogue! Lol! Kim

Hi Sheaffer,
Another great post. I can’t wait to try the magic cream.
Here are some of my faves:
1. Bobbi Brown vitamin enriched face base. Wonderful primer/moisturizer that smells heavenly.
2. Laneige water bank essence. The entire Laneige line is amazing but this essence is light weight but super moisturizing.
3. Too Faced better than sex mascara. Hello lashes!
Heather says
I cannot live without My Laneige lip mask. I use it all day, not just at night, so I am interested to try the glow balm you recommended.
Although I am sure I have room for improvement, I love using the Anastasia Dipbrow pomade. It makes such a difference, in a subtle way.
I recently have fallen in love with the Brazilian Bum Bum cream. I love that the scent makes me feel like I have not been in my house with two kids for over a month.

Love the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer! Very light and has SPF. I use it as a foundation for sheer, just enough coverage. Just ordered the Laura Mercier Pure Canvas Primer as I’ve heard really good things about that when you just want a bit of coverage and glow. Also ordered the Drunk Elephant antipollution drops to go with the CT magic cream!

Hi!
I know that you swear by the diorshow lash primer – I truly think that it can’t compare to the Lancôme CILS booster XL mascara base. I love, love, love this primer and then pair it with the new Nars Climax Mascara and my lashes look amazing…thick and long!
My other fav thing is Milk long wear Gel eyeliner in sparkle brown. Beautiful color and long lasting- doesn’t pull/tug at all when putting on.
Megan Lang says
Such a fun post- thank you!
BTW, I also adore the Moroccan Oil hair serum- and if you buy the larger size, it comes with a pump…. great product made even better!!! xoxo

The CT Magic cream sounds amazing!
My reps are:
1. True Cream Moisturizing Balm from Belif. It is light and smells great.
2. Perfect Brow Pencil from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I think it gives a softer look than the Brow Wiz
3. URBAN DECAY
24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil In Demolition

Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara or Monsieur Big from Lancôme are outstanding! I have blonde lashes and they make them look fuller and longer. Prime with the Lancôme Cils Booster XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Base and you’ll be even more impressed 🙂
My sorority sister at OU let me in on these little gems – try them out! And Boomer!
Arika says
Do you use the magic creme just at night, or during the day too?
Sheaffer says
I only use it during the day, Arika! But you can totally use it at night. xoxo
Arika says
OK, thanks. You have converted me to CR products and I love the extreme creme at night but sometimes I feel like the daytime renewal creme isn’t quite enough for me. The magic creme sounds like it would be good to try instead during the day.
