Happy Friday, Everybody!
Well, it’s that time again….it’s time for my monthly Amazon haul!!!
And no surprise here, I found TONS of great stuff to feature this month. A lot of today’s items are perfect to help start transitioning all of us to fall, and I. AM. READY.
However, we are going to kick things off with a dress that I ordered for July’s haul, but I forgot to take the pic for July’s post and it’s too good to not share it. I’ve shared Mexican dresses before, but this dark chambray color is definitely my favorite I’ve ever ordered. The material is soft (not stiff like the others), and the embroidery looks great on it! For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
embroidered dress / rattan earrings / sandals (size up a 1/2)
I’ve already shown you this shirt dress in Kelly green and a slate grey/blue, but I feel like we all needed to see it in classic black too. It’s SO GOOD. I love the collar, I love the tiny little pleats all around the waist, and I just think it’s a great casual dress. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
I’m out of my Tom and Sheri’s ironing spray (my new bottle is supposed to come on Saturday) and I couldn’t find my steamer (it was on a shelf in my closet), so you are just seeing a wrinkly dress today. I pulled it right out of the box and put it on, so just look past the wrinkles. #pleaseandthankyou
Styled on the left for right now with sandles, styled on the right for fall with the jacket and booties.
And look for the black and floral mules later in the post! They would be so cute with this dress!
shirt dress / denim jacket (A Azure Mood) / dainty cross necklace / beaded necklace / neutral patent sandals (size up 1/2) / block heel booties (1-light brown)
By the way, I’m not sure if I mentioned this to y’all, but I had to get a new steamer because my old one started spitting water all over my clothes. I got this one AND I LOVE IT. LOOK AT THOSE REVIEWS! I don’t think it would be very easy to travel with (it’s bigger than my last steamer), but it definitely works better than my last one (and I liked it too). It’s awesome. If you don’t have a steamer, GRAB THIS STEAMER. Between this and the Tom and Sheri’s ironing spray, I haven’t ironed anything in YEARS.
I couldn’t find the steamer before taking this next picture either. Again, look away from the wrinkles. 🙂
Y’all have seen this tee and denim jacket MANY times before, but this maxi skirt is new. This is the “peach” and it’s ON SALE! It comes in tons of color options, is cool and easy to wear, and I think you could definitely wear it into early fall with booties or flats. I’m wearing a small in the skirt. I’m wearing a medium in the tee and denim jacket.
white v-neck tee / denim jacket (A Azure Mood) / dainty cross necklace / maxi skirt / neutral patent sandals (size up 1/2)
How cute is this dress! This is the “khaki spots”. I’ll be honest, the reviews on this dress are mixed, but I really like it a lot.
For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but I’m returning it for a small. There was lots of extra material, so I have it roller clipped in the back. Haha! It’s like a silky but stretchy fabric, so it’s super comfortable because of the stretch. I love the tiers and the little ruffle around the sleeves. It’s cute on its own, and it’s great layered under a denim jacket and all different sorts of styles and colors of cardigans.
Let’s ignore the fact that I didn’t use self-tanner before I took these shots. Shame on me.
dress / chunky gold hoops / dainty cross necklace / bracelet stack / floral mules
Here’s the same dress with a cardi and a tote.
This is the camel heather cardigan, and I think everybody needs it. there are thousands of 5 star reviews, and it’s UNDER $30. I’m wearing a small.
dress / cardigan / work tote / chunky gold hoops / dainty cross necklace / bracelet stack / floral mules
Okay, let’s talk about this work tote that you see in the picture above.
When I showed the black teacher tote earlier this month, I got a handful of requests for a “nicer” work bag. I found this one and think it’s AWESOME. Look at the internal structure, how much it holds, and how organized you will be!
And styled one more way, the khaki spot dress with a blush cardigan. This is officially called “mauve”, although I definitely think it’s best described as a blush. The other color options are awesome too. I can’t wait to wear it with denim and a tee. It’s soooooooo soft and cozy. This is one of those cardigans that I think many of y’all will end up grabbing in at least 2 colors. It’s super versatile, and as one reviewer said, “it’s super snuggly, but still office appropriate”. I’m wearing a small, so size down if between sizes.
dress / cardigan / chunky gold hoops / dainty cross necklace / bracelet stack / floral mules
Okay, first of all, let’s talk about the fact that I’m wearing a small in this dress, but I definitely need a medium. It’s definitely too short and tight for me in this size. If it was a more relaxed fit, I think I would really like this look. I’m wearing the “dusty pink”, but I think of it as more of a really light coral/rust. It’s just a standard crew neck t-shirt dress. I’m wearing a small in the cardigan, and I like the fit, but to get the look with it like the model is wearing, I should be wearing the medium. It’s just personal preference, so decide on your size accordingly.
dress / cardigan / work tote / chunky gold hoops / turquoise necklace / bracelet / neutral mules
This maxi dress is FABULOUS. I feel like most of y’all would really like to have one in your closet, and it comes in several colors, so there’s something for everybody. For size reference, I’m wearing a small. You can see it’s quite long on my frame, which is great for you taller ladies.
It’s a thin fabric, but drapes very nicely. You can wear it without anything else, but I prefer to wear it with a layer on top.
maxi dress / cardigan / chunky gold hoops / turquoise necklace / bracelet / floral mules
And again, but with the denim jacket and work tote.
dress / denim jacket (A Azure Mood) / work tote / chunky gold hoops / turquoise necklace / bracelet / floral mules
I love the stripes, I love the drawstring waist, and I love how comfy this dress is! I also like the length. The below knee length is a great option for those of you that don’t like the shorter looks. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
striped dress / denim jacket (A Azure Mood) / chunky gold hoops / dainty cross necklace / neutral patent sandals (size up 1/2)
Now…
If you didn’t see my TEACHER DRESSES post earlier this month, GO THERE NOW! There are some DARLING dresses, AND THEY ARE ALL SUPER AFFORDABLE! Here’s a little peek at just some of the dresses. Lots more dresses and all my thoughts and sizing tips can be found on the post. This post was one of my favorite posts from the month.
v neck swing dress / belted shirt dress / v-neck mini dress
belted midi dress / green shirt dress / tank maxi dress
belted midi dress / ruffle hem dress / v neck swing dress
I really want to encourage you to head to the post because I also show different ways to style several of the dresses. Like this ruffle hem dress.
Here I have it styled 3 different ways! Worn by itself in the middle, with a denim jacket, and with a cardigan. 3 great looks!
ruffle hem dress / chunky gold hoops / dainty cross necklace / turquoise necklace / sandals
OTHER AWESOME TRANSITIONAL OUTFITS…
And here are more outfits, all perfect for transitioning to fall.
This dress is DARLING. Don’t ya think? It’s a washed linen with tiers, a split neck, and ruffles. It’s adorable without being too sweet, and I think it’s so cute styled with booties for fall…although it would be just as cute styled with sandals for now. I’m wearing the “tan/black woodblock floral” here, but it comes in several solids as well as some other seriously cute patterns (including an awning stripe and an indigo ikat).
It’s 55% linen and 45% cotton, so it definitely has a bit of structure to it. It’s a great dress! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. It doesn’t have any give at all, so I definitely needed a medium for room in the chest.
tiered dress / chunky hoop earrings / layered necklace / block heel booties (1-light brown)
Okay, another dress I love! This flutter sleeve dress is a really pretty red color and has lots of great details. It has fantastic reviews AND IT HAS POCKETS. I don’t know what it is about pockets in a dress that we ladies love so much, BUT IT’S A THING. #welovepockets
It appears that the red is no longer available, but it comes in tons of colors that I love including a black floral dot, olive, and a grey stripe.
flutter sleeve dress / similar denim jacket (I have this one and love it too – in A Azure Mood!) / chunky hoop earrings / layered necklace / block heel booties (1-light brown)
This bracelet comes in several styles and colorways, and this is the “teal/red/box”. It’s one cuff bracelet, but it looks like lots of single layered bracelets that combine red, blue, turquoise, yellow, green, purple, pink, gold, silver. It is so bright and colorful and will go with so many things.
Here’s the dress without the jacket so you can get a better look at it. It’s styled for right now, you know, when it feels like 108 degrees outside. It’s got a little flutter sleeve, a v neck, and it’s tiered. I put it on straight out of the box here, but it could definitely benefit from a good steam.
flutter sleeve dress / denim jacket / chunky hoop earrings / layered necklace / neutral patent sandals
While both dresses above are a linen/cotton blend, this dress is 100% cotton. It’s a classic t-shirt dress with just a little flare with the flutter sleeves. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
ruffle sleeve dress / chunky hoop earrings / layered necklace / neutral patent sandals (size up 1/2)
And once again, I wanted to show you how this dress can transition perfectly into fall!
ruffle sleeve dress / similar denim jacket (I have this one and love it too – in A Azure Mood!) / chunky hoop earrings / layered necklace / block heel booties (1-light brown)
Now I’ve got a much more casual dress for you. This sweatshirt dress is sooooooo soft and comfy. It’s not clingy, just a nice and relaxed fit (without being too big and boxy). For size reference, I’m wearing a small. At 5’4″, it’s longer than I would like it, but that’s great news for you taller ladies.
Go read the reviews! People love this dress!
sweatshirt dress / chunky hoop earrings / layered necklace / sneakers
Okay, I’ve got lots to say about this sweater. I’m wearing the crewneck in A-red. First of all, I think this rust color is absolutely beautiful and love it for fall. It’s officially called “red”, but it’s definitely more of a pumpkin or rust. It also comes in black, blue, grey, beige, khaki, and a light pink.
This sweater has mixed reviews, but I really like it. In fact, I like it so much that I’m going to grab the v-neck version in beige. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
sweater / chunky hoop earrings / layered necklace / similar cropped straight leg jeans / block heel booties
This scoop neck swing tee is soooooooooooo good, y’all. I’m sad to say that the stripe appears to be sold out, but I’m thinking that it would be great to own in black, white, and grey! They would be awesome basics.
It’s a smooth luxe jersey, it’s super soft, and it’s got a great little swingy fit. I prefer tees with a little room and a more relaxed fit, and this tee fits the bill. It’s perfect on its own, but it’s also a great light tee to layer with. It will look great under a cardi, a denim jacket, or a military jacket.
For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
scoop neck swing tee / chunky hoop earrings / layered necklace / gold bracelet / similar cropped straight leg jeans / block heel booties
This sweater has a great color block pattern, a v neck, and a banded hem at the bottom. It’s got a nice fit, and I actually like some of the new colorways that have been added more than I do this one. I think the white, grey, oatmeal, and blush color combination is so pretty. For size reference, I’m wearing a small. I do want to give you the heads up that the little holes you see at the border of each color block are a bit see thru. I think you’ll be fine as long as you are wearing a neutral bra.
color block sweater / chunky hoop earrings / layered necklace / gold bracelet / similar cropped straight leg jeans / block heel booties
I love this waffle knit cardigan, but I don’t love the color I got. I ordered “beige”, but I think it has a lot more yellow undertones than brown. I think I would much prefer the A-khaki or the pink (looks like a dark blush). It’s super casual and lightweight and I love it.
For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
waffle knit cardigan / white tee / denim shorts / shoreline converse
EVERYBODY needs a military jacket has been a stance I’ve taken for years.
But to be honest, now I think everybody needs at least 2 military jackets. Listen, after years of collecting them, I have several. #letsnotmakemecount More often than not they are perfect layer to grab, and they are all in constant rotation.
An olive one is completely necessary (it functions wonderfully as a neutral), and I’ve also had and loved a grey one. I think this red is an awesome color for fall,
For size reference, I’m wearing a medium here, but I definitely need a small. The medium was way too big, so I would say that most need to size down a size. I mean, I sometimes wear a small in jackets, but more often a medium…and this one was really big on me.
striped tee / military jacket / layered necklace / chunky hoop earrings / frayed step hem grey jeans / wedge sneakers
This “mama” graphic tee is super simple, but I think it’s super cute. It’s super soft too. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
mama tee / chunky hoop earrings / layered necklace / multicolor bracelet with turquoise / similar cropped straight leg jeans/ chunky booties
And listen, I identify with “Mama Tried” so hard. Again, I’m wearing a medium.
And remember, both the chunky hoop earrings and the layered necklace are both from Amazon, they are both under $15, and they are both awesome.
Mama Tried tee / chunky hoop earrings / layered necklace / multicolor bracelet with turquoise / similar cropped straight leg jeans/ chunky booties
This one made me lol. Wearing a medium. It comes in several colors.
Even if you don’t want to wear this out and about, you should totally size up and wear it as a night shirt.
I Like Coffee and Maybe 3 People tee / chunky hoop earrings / layered necklace / multicolor bracelet with turquoise / similar cropped straight leg jeans/ chunky booties
This pumpkin tee is adorable. And listen, I know it seems early to be posting a pumpkin tee, but what I’ve found is that when it’s actually time to buy them, they are hard to find.
I figured you could go ahead and buy it early. It comes in other colors and patterns as well. It’s super soft, and I’m wearing a medium.
pumpkin tee / denim shorts / shoreline converse
Once again… super cute, super soft, and I’m wearing a medium.
star tee / denim shorts / shoreline converse

ATHLEISURE
Athleisure.
You know if I could live in loungewear, I would. And if I couldn’t live in loungewear, I’d live in athleisure.
This athleisure tee is just okay. I like the fit, but I don’t love the material. It’s not breathable and kind of just feels weird. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
BUT THE LEGGINGS. They are soooooo good. High waisted, great material, and a pocket on the side for my phone. AND THEY ARE ON SALE! I will say that I think the material of these is better suited for cooler months. I’m wearing a small and they have good compression. If I was more concerned with just comfort, I’d grab a medium.
athleisure tee / cross necklace / leggings/ New Balance sneakers
The style of this zip up jacket is very similar to this Zella jacket. It’s got thumbholes, pockets, and the cute stand-up collar that I always like. It comes in several colors, and all colors and sizes seem to be under $30, which is an incredible deal. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
athleisure tee / zip up jacket / leggings/ New Balance sneakers
And the sneakers are DARLING. They are comfy, true to size, and just plain cute. They’re great with leggings, but I’ll also wear them with ankle jeans as well. I fell in love with this “Phantom/Desert Pink”, but they come in lots of color choices.
leggings/ New Balance sneakers
The sweatshirt is fine, but as mentioned previously, THE LEGGINGS AND THE SNEAKERS ARE FANTASTIC.
As you can see, the sweatshirt isn’t super long. Plus I’m wearing a large in the sweatshirt, so I think it runs ways small because you can see that the large isn’t super oversized. It is fleece lined and quite warm, and I think this color is so pretty.
sweatshirt / leggings/ New Balance sneakers
sweatshirt / leggings/ New Balance sneakers
As of yesterday, ALL 3 PIECES in this outfit WERE ON SALE!
The sweatshirt with side cut-outs is long enough for leggings and has these fun cut-outs on the side. I’m wearing the washed pink, but it comes in 28 colors. TWENTY EIGHT. It’s a mix of cotton, modal, and spandex so it’s definitely got a bit of give and is super comfy. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.
sweatshirt with side cut-outs / leggings/ New Balance sneakers
This quarter zip hoodie is awesome. I love the colors, I LOVE the zipper, and I love the style. It’s cropped, which I normally don’t go for in work out gear, but this changed my mind. It’s sporty and just has so much style! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. The navy one is awesome too.
These leggings are high waisted and a perfectly cropped length for my 5’4″ frame. I don’t wear leggings unless they are high waisted. I’m wearing the ginger, but they come in lots of other colors including a great camo pattern. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
quarter zip hoodie / pave huggie earrings / leggings / slip on mesh sneakers (6701 mauve)
If the outfit above is too bold for you, the sweatshirt also looks great with black capri leggings!
These are the leggings I purchased back in 2019. I’ve washed them countless times, and they still look brand new. They hold their shape, they don’t sag, and they aren’t see thru.
And if you don’t have these slip on sneakers, get them. Trust me. They slip on so easily, they are super comfortable, and they look great. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.
quarter zip hoodie / pave huggie earrings / black capri leggings / slip on mesh sneakers (6702 black)
And how fun is this tie dye sweatshirt! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. I’ll love wearing this with both grey joggers and jeans as well.
tie dye sweatshirt / pave huggie earrings / black capri leggings / slip on mesh sneakers (6702 black)
For size reference, I’m wearing a small, but it’s wayyyyyy too small. I definitely need a medium.
windbreaker jacket /black tee / gold hoops / blingy necklace / 7/8 leggings / sneakers (light grey – size down a 1/2)

LOUNGE WEAR
I should have a monthly haul that’s nothing but pajamas and lounge wear. Let’s make it a thing, y’all.
These are flannel, so they are nice and warm. I’m just afraid that they are going to sell out before we actually all need warm pajamas, which is why I’m posting them now. I think the polar bears are just too cute.
If you aren’t a polar bear girl, check out the classic black and white check.
SO. FLIPPING. CUTE.
And I can’t remember who I saw highlighting this set on instagram, but I was definitely #influenced.
This lounge set is a great waffle knit. It’s pretty lightweight and you won’t be too warm (even though it’s long pants and a long sleeved top). In fact, I would say it’s definitely comfy, but I wouldn’t describe it as “cozy”.
Now, the top isn’t nearly so oversized on me as it is on the model, and I would definitely like the top to have a more relaxed fit. However, I’m afraid if I size up the pants will be way too big. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

SHOES
So now that I’ve showed you some outfit ideas, let’s talk about the shoes that you saw in some of the outfits above…
These sneakers are one of my newest purchases and they are ON SALE! I love the retro vibe. Mine are the “Phantom/Dessert Pink”, but they actually come in 18 different color combinations. They are extremely comfortable and true to size for me.
This floral pattern spoke to me. How cute will these by with sweaters and jeans! Or with black work pants! This is a great little shoe that really makes a statement. Comfy and true to size.
These are from the same maker, but in a classic leopard. The reviews on these mules are excellent, and they’re an awesome deal at under $40. Comfy and true to size.
These are very similar to Sam Edelman mules, but this price is definitely better. I love the chunky gold chain and the style they will bring to outfits. Comfy and true to size.
SERIOUSLY, LADIES!
How cute are these mules! I think all are true to size.
leopard mules / floral mules / neutral mules
Click HERE for the chunky booties seen below. These are from last year and I love them and wore them constantly. Mine are the “light brown”, but there are several other very similar neutrals to choose from as well as white, cognac, black, snakeskin and others. The block heel, the pointy toe, and the deep cut out on the side all look awesome. And listen, I clicked around, and all sizes and colors appear to be UNDER $50. What a deal! There’s a super similar pair available at Nordstrom right now, so these are a great option.
I think these are quite comfy and they are true to size for me. If you are often between sizes, I think I would recommend going down 1/2 a size.
SALE ALERT!
I bought a pair of neutral wedge sneakers that I absolutely loved several years ago, and I still love them, but I wanted to find a current pair for y’all for last fall, and it appears they are still well stocked. I find that I love throwing on a wedge sneaker with a lot of my casual fall outfits with both jeans and joggers.
These wedge sneakers are an incredible deal. All colors available are under $35, and many are under $30 right now. The ones I have are the “taupe”, and I like the perforations on the side and the band across the top. The fit is really cute and they are super comfy. True to size for me.
And these mesh sneakers are freaking fantastic. Mine are the “apricot”, but I think they are more of a nice neutral taupe with maybe a hint of blush. True to size for me.
These sneakers are like no other sneakers I’ve ever had. They almost feel like a thick and tight sock when wearing them, but they are obviously shoes because of the soles and the tread on the bottom. I talked about these a lot last year, and tons of you purchased them. One reader said she “wore them all over Europe with no pain” and another said that she “pops them in the washing machine and they come out perfectly“. Another said that she wears them without socks “but they never get stinky like her Converse“. All really good information, right?
They come in TONS of colors and go on easily with just a little tug on the tabs in the back.
They have THOUSANDS of 5 Star Reviews, and the price point is $38.99. INCREDIBLE.
Ladies, these flats are ONLY $19.90. They are a classic ballet fit with elasticized sides that are comfy. They also come in black, navy, nude, gold, and dark bronze (which I love). This brown is darker than a normal cognac, but they aren’t quite as dark as they appear in this picture. True to size for me.
There are lots of reviews on them with a good amount of pictures, so hop over to see those if you are curious to see what others have to say. These are definitely budget flats, but I think they are a really good inexpensive option.

THE LAST 5 THINGS I PRIMED
Just for fun, I took a look at my Amazon order history to see the 5 last things I primed:
- I re-ordered my favorite shampoo. I wash my hair about 3x per week, and I last purchased this shampoo back in November, so it’s an EXCELLENT value per wash! I still have several weeks left, but I never want to be without it, so I went ahead and reordered it. The reviews are FANTASTIC, and I truly believe it keeps my hair in great shape.
- The other hair product that I continue to re-order on Amazon is this blow dry spray. It’s a heat protectant, it helps my hair dry faster, and it reduces frizz. AND IT SMELLS SERIOUSLY AMAZING. I know I have turned hundreds of people on to this product, and everybody is just as obsessed as I am. Give it a shot, I’m pretty positive you will LOVE it.
- Okay, my sister was raving about her Dermaflash and she insisted that I order one for myself. She says it makes her face sooooo smooth and soft, and she feels like it makes her makeup go on smoother and her products absorb better. I was going to buy it, but then I saw this device for lots less money that has insane reviews, so I ordered it.
- I decided to buy this down comforter that I mentioned last week. It has over 8,000 reviews, and the majority are 5 STAR! My last comforter didn’t have the individual squares, so the down was never evenly distributed. I’m so excited to get it!
- Drawing inspiration from my sister’s home, I ordered this set of prints that I hope are going to look great over our bed in the master bedroom. (I got the Bs06-2203-win17 in the 24×36 Natural, but I also really love the Bs06-2203-win12.)
I thought it would be fun if y’all did the same and left your most recently primed items in the comments section….or maybe the craziest item you remember priming….or maybe tell about a time when Amazon Prime basically saved you somehow. Sound off in the comments!
Erika Slaughter says
Socks was my latest Amazon purchase! Because our dryer always eats one of each pair. 🥴
Laura says
I feel like I always buy at least 3 things from your Amazon hauls, but today I outdid myself. I got two pairs of mules, the New Balance sneakers, the work bag, the shampoo, and the blow dry spray. And everything is supposed to be to me by Sunday!
Sheaffer says
Laura! You did good today! And I feel confident you are going to love everything!!!
Carly says
Bed Sheet Tuck in Tool! Best $$ I ever spent for a random item. I have mattresses that are hard to tuck sheets into. Lay your flat top sheet over the mattress, then use this tool to tuck the sheets in without killing your back, or lifting the edges of mattress. A miracle!!! You can just do the sheet alone and then the blanket or do both together at the same time.
Sheaffer says
Whoah! So cool, Carly!
Shay Shull says
That tote bag is so cute!! I clicked on the link to check it out because it looks way more expensive than it is. What a great find!
Sara says
I love that blow dry spray, too! You know what I think it smells like??? Kirklands! The home decor store!
Sheaffer says
I’m laughing so hard, Sara! I don’t think so at all. In fact, I can’t even walk in Kirklands because it makes me have a headache!!! But I probably haven’t been in that store in 10 years or so, so maybe it smells differently now! Haha! 🙂
Andrea says
This is a great one! I have the floral mules on my wish list, and I already own those flats in silver–but I REALLY hope they re-stock soon in that poppy red! I recently bought these trays, and they’re adorable! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09BL38DZG?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
