I have TONS of dresses today that are great for a school setting, and they are ALL FROM AMAZON! Now, if you’re not a teacher, that’s okay! I mean, I’m not a teacher and I love every single one of these dresses. If you don’t work out of the home, some of them are great for church, and some of them are great for just running around town. There are also some that are so incredibly comfy that I would definitely love to throw them on for just a day at home.

AND THEY ARE ALL SUPER AFFORDABLE!  Here’s a little peek at just some of the dresses…

It’s totally classic and looks very chic. It’s got functional buttons all the way up and down, a great collar, cuffed sleeves, and tiny little pleats all around the waistline. And the back of the dress is tiered. It’s SO CUTE. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

Now listen, I’ve shown this dress before in a grey blue, so you might remember that when reading the online description of the dress it says “vintage buttons aim to free your boobs and show your sexy.” I would like the record to show that I don’t want to free my boobs or show my sexy, but I still happen to love the dress. The lady modeling the green dress on the site DID want to free her boobs and show her sexy though. Hey, good for her.

The cross necklace is so dainty and feminine. I’ve been wearing this necklace all the time lately. In fact, I’m finding that I rarely take it off. When I saw my mom a couple of weeks ago, she was like “Oooooh! You got a new necklace!” She thought it was real! It’s under $15 and it’s GORGEOUS.

The turquoise necklace has been a great necklace for me all spring and summer, and I think the turquoise will be great in the fall too! I knotted it like this to get the length that I wanted.

I’ve owned this bracelet for a couple of years now, and I still find myself pulling it out. It’s a cuff that goes on easily and incorporates just about every color you can imagine. It’s a total steal at just under $20. I couldn’t find it when I was taking the rest of the new pics for today’s post, but it would go with every single outfit!

I know all of you probably have several different colored cardigans in your closet, I think this coral one looks great thrown on top of the dress. The one I’m wearing is v-neck (and sold out in most colors and sizes), but the crew neck coral cardigan is still in stock!

I got this denim jacket back in February and love it so very much! It’s the “A Azure Mood”. It’s got a bit of stretch in it, has a cute fit, and I think this wash is great. This is the denim jacket you are going to be seeing throughout today’s post. I feel like everybody needs a denim jacket that they love, but teachers REALLY need one! They make dresses (that might not otherwise be work appropriate) perfect for a school setting! And they are of course great for an added layer as the weather starts to get cooler (or if you’re room at school is always cold). These woven slide sandals are a perfect neutral and designer inspired. They are from Cushionaire, and I’m totally digging this brand because of the comfort level and the padded footbeds. True to size for me.

I’m wearing a small here, but felt it was too tight, which is why I ordered the green in a medium.

And here it is styled a bit differently with a beaded necklace (I have this necklace in 3 colors now), the camel bag I first showed you earlier this year and my neutral patent sandals that I’m still wearing and loving (from last year). I sized up a 1/2 in these sandals.

I’m going to be showing you a lot of t-shirt dresses on today’s post, but this ruffle hem dress is a bit different with the wide ruffle hem and it’s longer than most of the other ones. And as you can see, it has pockets. It’s actually longer than I would like on my 5’4″ frame, but I think it will be especially great for you taller ladies! I’m wearing the small here, but I would prefer a more relaxed fit like on the model. However, I know the medium would be way too long on me.

When I showed a crew neck t-shirt dress a couple of weeks ago, I had several people ask for a v-neck version and I found one! This isn’t a deep v, but it will be more flattering for most. I know the v-neck is hard see in this picture, but I’m wearing a small in the dress and definitely need a medium (which is why I’m not showing it with the jacket off). Haha! The online picture shows that it’s a shallow v, or maybe even more like a narrow scoop neck.

I’m wearing the “red floral print” here, but in person I think it definitely leans more orange than red. It’s a great color for now and for fall. If you look at the different colors of this dress on the link, you will see if you look at the black one what it would probably look like on you if you were to size up. It would give you a much more relaxed look with additional length as well. I like that fit too!

How chic is this belted shirt dress.

I’m blown away by this dress.

I’m wearing a small in this one, which typically isn’t the case for me at all with a button up top so I think it’s sized generously. I love the belt and I just think it’s a totally classic look.

This belted midi dress is a little bit of a different take on the typical maxi. It’s a bit shorter, and it’s a bit more fitted as well. The belt is of course removable, and I’m sure I’ll wear it both ways. It’s 100% cotton, so I’ll wash this dress, but I’ll hang it to dry vs. tossing it in the dryer.  I don’t love the fit of it on its own, but I think it creates a nice little waist and is super flattering when a denim jacket or cardi is thrown on top. I’m wearing a small in this dress, but I’m pretty sure I would prefer the more relaxed of the medium.

This is the leather tote I first shared back in February. This is the “light brown”. It’s real leather, and it’s gorgeous.

This v-neck mini dress is definitely made for a person under 5’4″. It’s short enough on me that I wouldn’t wear it in a work environment, so I’m guessing you would need to be 5’3″ or under to wear this dress comfortably.

The green is much more vibrant than it appears on the site. On the site it looks like a really deep and rich forest green, but I think it’s more of an emerald. The color is beautiful.

It says the dress is 100% cotton, but it’s not. In fact, I’m not sure what it is, but it almost feels like a cotton file. Is that a thing? It’s got some texture to it for sure. I actually think this dress would be better in the fall months styled with booties or even tall boots and a thicker cardi layered on top.

EVEN MORE DRESSES….

So since today is all about dresses, I wanted to make this post super user friendly for you.

I’ve got tons more dresses for you today! I know there’s something for everybody on today’s post!

If you prefer a long t-shirt dress, this one is for you! It’s a cotton slub, so it’s a bit thicker than most dresses I’ve highlighted from Amazon. This would make a great travel dress. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

Years ago I ordered this dress in black with white stripes and in the white with black stripes, but it also comes in solids as well. I wore those dresses like crazy and still wear them to this day. I’ve styled the dress here with wedges, but that’s just because I had the wedges on. I think this dress will be look better styled with flat sandals or even sneakers. For size reference, I’m wearing a small. The arms are pretty fitted right above the ruffle, so if tight sleeves bother you, beware.

To be honest, I didn’t have high hopes for this checked boho dress… BUT I ADORE IT!

I’m wearing a medium, but I definitely need a small because there’s lots of extra fabric throughout the body, and I even have extra room in the chest (which pretty much never happens). When I hopped online to exchange it, I actually got a small in this color, the pink, and the black. I won’t keep all 3, but I’m going to keep 2 of them for sure and wanted options. This is the kind of dress I love wearing all summer long, and the $28 price tag can’t be beat.

If you’re a Tennessee fan, you definitely need the dress. I’m thinking it could work for Longhorns too.

And y’all, how cute are these white sandals?!? These H bandwhite slide sandals are exactly what I’ve been looking for (I sized up a 1/2).

This ruffle flounce sleeve dress is THE MOST GORGEOUS shade of pink. The jersey knit fabric is 100% cotton and it’s very well made. For size reference, I’m wearing a small, but I like the more relaxed fit on the model…so I’m going to return it for a medium.

This pocket tee dress is fabulous. It’s got a bit of thickness to it, which I like. I like the cut, the fit, and I think this pattern is fun (although it does come in 5 other choices that are currently available. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

This dress is jersey and a little more slinky than the other dresses in today’s post. It’s got great reviews too, but it’s also thinner than the other dresses, so just know that going into it.

I love this “brick” color, but it comes in 8 other colors. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

I had this puff sleeved dress in a print last year and loved it, but it sold out. I know the black is going to sell out too, so grab it while you can. It’s soooooooooooo incredibly soft. The material isn’t heavy, but it’s thicker than a regular tee, so it feels very well made.  I love the fit (it’s very forgiving) and the puff sleeves are such a nice design element, without being too dramatic.  It is such a great dress.

For size reference, I’m wearing a small. For a more relaxed fit, size up.

This embroidered dress combines embroidery, pom pom trim, and a ruffle hem. It’s so fun! I’m wearing a medium here, but it’s still way too tight across my chest.

So I ordered a large to compare! Once again, I prefer the shorter fit of the medium, but I definitely need a large in the chest, so large it is.

The neckline on this has a tiny split, but it’s still a bit high. It’s obviously not a turtleneck or anything, but if high necklines bother you, you might want to pass on this dress.

This DARLING skirt has FANTASTIC reviews and comes in TONS of colorways and patterns. I’m wearing the “C.beige”, but I truly love so many of the options. It’s lined and very well made. For size reference, I’m wearing a small, but I’m thinking I would be a little more comfy in the medium.

Over the last several years I’ve shown this adorable puff sleeve dress in several colors, and this new lilac color is gorgeous and perfect for spring and summer. The darker color options are awesome for fall of course. It’s soooooo soft, very comfy, a great length, and the sleeve are darling. And how cute is it with the striped tote!

Basics in a closet are so important, and you can’t get much more basic than this scoop neck swing dress. It comes in lots of colors, but grabbing black is a total no brainer, especially at this price! The ratings are fantastic, and I like how it’s not clingy, just a nice swingy fit.

This tank maxi dress is adorable.

It’s a tank dress, and y’all know I pretty much always wear a jacket or cardi with tanks…but if you’re more confident with a jacket, YOU GO! I’m wearing the cheetah, but you’ve got 17 colors/patterns to choose from! Some are great for spring and summer, and others are great for fall. I’m wearing a medium, but I am going to exchange it for a small.

There are lots of prints and colors to choose from, but this cheetah really spoke to me.

It’s lightweight, great quality, and I love the fit. It’s not form fitting, and I love how it’s flowy without being frumpy at all. Wear it with sandals now, or style it with a denim jacket or cardi for fall.

This flutter sleeve dress is a linen blend, beautifully made, and looks much more expensive than it is. I thought this vibrant lime color was so much fun, and the floral pattern is so pretty! The dress has zero stretch, so keep that in mind when ordering. I’m wearing the medium, and it is very fitted in the chest. The little flutter sleeves, v neck, and tiered bodice make it very flattering.

This striped swing dress feels like pajamas in the best way possible.

I’ve owned this one for a couple of years now. I have a medium in the blue one, but I’m wearing a small in this one. It’s a little shorter (both the hem and the sleeves) and it’s a little less loose all over.

I had no idea how much I was going to love this strapless maxi dress. AND GIRLS, I LOVE THIS DRESS. Please don’t let the fact that it’s strapless scare you away. Throw a denim jacket or cardi on top, nobody will even know it’s strapless, and you’re ready for school!

First of all, there are THOUSANDS of 5 star reviews. A lot of the reviewers posted pics of themselves in the dress as well if you want to see it on different body types (I know this is often super helpful). It comes in a multitude of colors and prints. It’s a pull on dress without any zippers, and it’s insanely comfortable.  It’s smocked across the bust, and it stays put. It’s tiered and has little ruffles on the tiers. It’s adorable.

For size reference, I’m wearing a small. (Obviously it needs a quick steam, I took it right out of the package and put it on.)

My favorite strapless bra works perfectly with it. If you already have this strapless bra, you know it’s one of the most comfortable bras ever (not just strapless) and that you can wear it all day with no trouble!

Y’all know I love a great t-shirt dress, and this is a really great one. I’m wearing the “A-blacked striped” dress here. It’s a good length, classic scoop neck, it comes in tons of colors, and IT HAS POCKETS! It’s a rayon and spandex combo, so it’s got some stretch to it and most colors and sizes are UNDER $25. I love that it’s not a clingy fit. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium for a more relaxed fit here. This chiffon dress comes in both short sleeve and long sleeve options and comes in several colors/patterns. This one is a little bit dressier than most of the other dresses I’ve shown today. Certain colors and sizes look like they won’t ship for a bit, but the black one actually looks like it’s full stocked and readily available in most sizes! The skirt of the dress is lined, so a slip is not required.

Love the subtle flutter sleeves, love the tiered skirt with ruffles, love the modest v neck, and you can’t see it in these pictures but the top of the neckline is pleated and so pretty! For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

I had this puff sleeved dress in a print last year and loved it, but it sold out. This swiss dot dress has a great swingy fit and adorable raised swiss dot pattern. You can see how it’s lined on the bodice and skirt, so it doesn’t require a slip although the sleeves and hem read as sheer. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

This color block dress is DARLING!  It’s got a loose and flowy fit, cute fluttered sleeves, and it feels a bit silky to the touch. It is very generously cut. I’m wearing a small, and there’s still quite a bit of room. It’s a little long for my preference (I’m 5’4″), but that’s great news for all of you taller ladies.

This split maxi dress is a great olive color and I think it looks great styled with the navy cardigan.

This cardigan is an essential piece for teachers. Actually, it’s an essential piece for EVERYBODY! It has excellent ratings and is perfect throwing on over dresses and tees.

I love this dress, and I’m not the only one. It has a couple of thousand of near perfect reviews. It’s not clingy or form fitting, but it doesn’t hang like a shapeless sack either. Another perfect travel dress. Again, I’m wearing a small.

This olive maxi dress is the exact same maxi you saw above in black, but now it’s just in olive. I styled the black with the heather cardigan, and I’ve styled this one with a denim jacket. Again, I wear a small in this dress. It’s soooo soft and soooooo comfy.

The pattern and the colors in this spaghetti strapped maxi dress are so fun.  It comes in several color choices, but this one definitely stood out to me as my favorite.  It obviously has spaghetti straps, and it’s smocked across the back which makes it incredibly comfortable and forgiving. I’m not even wearing a bra with it here, and I’m never one to not wear a bra. However, with the smocked back, I felt comfortable not wearing one because it gave a little support. If I wasn’t wearing a jacket with it, I would definitely still wear my favorite strapless bra.

And don’t forget about the graphic tees and the teacher tote I shared last week! I wanted both of them to have a spot on this teacher post as well!

With the start of school right around the corner, I thought it would be fun to find some for all of the teachers heading back to school.

HOW CUTE ARE THESE TEES!!!! They’d be great all year long, but I’m thinking they will be especially perfect for the first week of school. I love #8 so much. It says “In this class, we are family.” How sweet is that!

Which one is your favorite?

All of these tees are great on their own, but they’d also be awesome with a denim jacket, cardigan, or military jacket layered on top. They can all of course be styled with regular denim, white denim, and black denim. I think they’d also look great tied up on the side with a maxi skirt.

I asked Keely (one of my besties and my neighbor) to review this teacher tote last week! Keely teaches at MCA and she had to run up to school, so she packed the bag up and took it on its first field trip to school. 🙂

Spoiler Alert: SHE LOVES IT!

And come on, HOW CUTE IS KEELY. (Yep, she’s wearing the Walmart dress too.)

I asked her to text me her review, and here’s what she had to say:

This is the BAG of all Trades! It’s so versatile and as a mom of three and a teacher, I need 1 great go-to bag to help me keep everything in its place. All of my things fit perfectly in this bag, and I’m excited to be starting school with it! I even have enough room to slide my lunchbox in. The two side compartments allow me to carry my water cup and my travel coffee mug. Bonus!! Who has time to juggle all the drinks, keys, badge and laptop? I don’t! The zip pockets in front hold all the important pens I need for grading papers at home and lesson planning. I use the second front pocket for my sunglasses and sunscreen for recess duty. 😎 And the built-in laptop sleeve is awesome and so convenient. Oh, and the inside and outside are both waterproof, so it could also be used as a diaper bag or a beach bag. Love love this bag!

I was so happy to learn that Keely said it is SUPER FUNCTIONAL and that she loves it!

I love how there’s a place for drinks on the left and the right. That’s Keely’s water cup on one side and her coffee on the other.

You can see inside how she has room for her laptop (it’s in the built-in laptop sleeve!), her calendar, and there’s still plenty of room for a couple of binders or a pile of folders. There are two deep internal pockets on each side as well.

Here you can see the built-in laptop sleeve as well as all of the internal pockets. This bag will keep you so organized!

The front pockets are so functional. And look how sturdy the handle is!

Her left front pocket holds her Glow Screen and sunglasses. She’s ready for recess duty!

The flap pocket on the right holds pens, markers, pencils, highlighters, whatever! And look how the front portion of the front pocket is a perfect place to stash charging blocks and cables, airpods, and other things like that.

Keely also had room for a book and a little place to stash some of the oils she uses in her diffuser in her classroom.

There’s even an exterior pocket that extends the length of the tote. It’s a perfect place to keep a folder or papers that you need easy access to. And I showed you how Keely uses the side pockets for water and coffee, but one of the side pockets is also a great place for an umbrella!

This bag is seriously fabulous.

I mean, this is a really a great tote for anybody, but it truly does seem to be perfect for teachers.
