I know I did!
I have been spending a lot of time just loving on my people and feeling thankful.
Thankful for the birth of Jesus and the GRACE he extends to us everyday,
and so thankful for all of the many blessings in my life.
As you know, I took a bit of a bloggy break.
It was a little weird to not be cranking out posts every day, but it was nice to slow down a bit.
I LOVE writing the posts, but dang it takes a lot of time! 🙂
So, I’ve decided that most weeks I’m going to be posting 4 days a week instead of 5 days a week now.
Please keep reading…..and please keep telling all of your friends about me too!
I want to continue to grow my audience, but I definitely need your help to do so!
Okay, so I left my next outfit up to you guys…and #2 got the most votes.
Several of you mentioned in your comments that you were voting for #2 because of the tweed jacket. Well, mama doesn’t own a tweed jacket, so I had to improvise.
In true ME fashion, I substituted a cardigan.
I know, SHOCKER.
(remember to tilt and shrug like I taught you).
I NEVER would have done it without the help of Pinterest.
Yep.
Pinterest Made Me Do It.
Again.

And now…..my 3 current obsessions!
1)
My sister got a pair of Frye boots that are FAB!
Here’s my cute sister (still cute even though she was a little sickly when we took this pic…Yep…I’m going to be an aunt!) and her cute hubby on Christmas day at my house wearing her new Frye boots!
Shame on me for not getting a picture of the actual boots.
Bad fashion blogger.
Here are the the boots she got.
This pair comes in 7 different colors!
2)
My friend Jenni featured a coat on her blog yesterday, and it is gorgeous!
It is from Anthrolpologie, and you can click HERE to see it!
(It is on sale now….but it looks like turquoise is the only color left.)
I like Jenni’s camel color, but I also love a coat in a fun color!
3)
I need a new wallet to go with my new purse (the old wallet just looks sad in the new purse)…but I can’t decide if I want THIS one (muted and classic),
or THIS one I talked about last week (new and fun)?!?
What do y’all think?
Also…I would just love it if you would leave comments with your favorite Christmas gifts listed!
I think it’s so fun to hear what other people got!

So many things on here that I love today! I'm obsessed with it all! And by the way, I hope to look as good as "sickly" Connor on a good day!

Hey Girl! Any chance of you giving us a tutorial on how you did your scarf shorter? Glad you had a nice Christmas. I love your blog!

I second tutorial on scarf tie please! I'm scarf girl but need ideas on ways to wear. Fave gifts this time around was mustard purse and mustard scarf. I'm going to see that scarf a lot. I may or may not have found and purchased mustard shoes two days later. Hope you are enjoying time off! I am with my boys!

I love those frye boots! I'm such a fan of them and just ordered my first pair from madewell and can't wait for them to get here! I love that outfit you put together. I've been seeing so many stripes lately and I love them. I love the contrast from the scarf too. Such a cute look!

Blogging definitely is time consuming. Enjoy your extra day off.
"(the old wallet just looks sad in the new purse)" This cracked me up. I say go with new and fun!
Fave gifts: TV, popcorn maker, clothes. Obviously the toaster oven is NOT on this list.

One of my favorite outfits yet! Go for the colorful wallet. You won't regret it. I carried a bright yellow patent leather wallet for a couple of years and it made me smile everytime I opened my purse.

Well you might not have the tweed jacket but the outfit looks great!!! Glad to hear you had a restful Christmas.

I would do the pink wallet because it's spending most of its time in your purse. It's fun to pull something unexpected out at the register. I had a leopard print wallet for a long time that just made me happy every time I took it out.

I LOVE your outfit today!! And I agree that scarf tutorial is in order! 🙂 My favorite Christmas presents were a gorgeous pebble-leather Kate Spade bag with tassels on each side and some really meaningful charms for my Pandora bracelet!! OH and the new iPhone! 🙂

My kids pooled their money and got me a candle snuffer- precious. 🙂

P.S. I have a question about boots. How loose (or not) should tall boots be around the calf?
Jenni says
Ok, that outfit is fab! Love that scarf and I totally agree…the shorter length makes the look! And thanks for the shout out…the coat really is fab! And a great deal with the 30% off right now, for sure! One last thing…I have an orange Kate Spade wallet and seeing a fun, bright color come out of my purse each time makes me happy. Go for it! =)

I like your outfit with the cardigan better than the tweed coat (shocker, right?!?!) Team Cardigan, forever 🙂 Congrats to your sister! And, LOVE that anthro coat. I TOTALLY hear ya on not blogging 5 days a week. Lately, I have been lucky if I have time to blog 3 days a week!

This is an outfit I need to do, too, I've had that same pin in one of my boards forever! You pulled off your interpretation beautifully. 🙂
