I fell in love with this flag sweater the second I saw it and knew I had to have it. The neutral background and the swingy fit give the relaxed vibe that I totally want in a sweater like this. If you live somewhere that you’re still having some cool summer nights, GET THIS SWEATER! Even if you don’t, you should probably still get this sweater. 😉 It’s soooooo soft, very lightweight, and just DARLING. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

And these denim shorts are good, y’all. They are a button-up fly, which I don’t normally love, but I really love these shorts. I like how they are very comfy and not too short. They have a frayed hem (I cut off some of the long and straggly pieces), but they are not distressed. Most reviewers say to size down, but I ordered my regular size and like the relaxed fit.

I’ve had a couple pairs of ecru jeans that I’ve loved over the last couple of years, but these cream ankle jeans are my newest find! They are from our beloved Risen brand, and they definitely live up to the Risen hype. They’ve got the perfect amount of stretch (stretchy, but don’t stretch out), and they are SO comfy, SO flattering, and SO CUTE! I love the utility pockets and the subtle ankle flare. I’m only 5’4″ and would like them to show a bit more ankle, but I still really like them at this length. I think they’ll be cute with sneakers too. True to size for me.

Same jeans, but this time with a bright and colorful sweater!

You know the pink and red stripes grabbed ahold of me and didn’t let go. The colors are just so fun and vibrant! Now listen, this is a super boxy fit. I happen to like a boxy fit, but if you don’t, this is not the sweater for you. I sized down to a small and am very glad I did because it’s still plenty roomy.

I almost wore my multicolor mini Jane necklace, but then I thought it was unexpected to pair my olive mini Jane with my gold heart turquoise necklace and ended up loving the stack!

I showed a similar top to this last month (or maybe the month before) from a different boutique, but the colors and patterns were different. I like this one better. I think the color combos and pattern mixings are unexpected, but I think it’s a really cool look.

I also knew to size down with this one (because the other one was definitely too big) and this small fits much better than the medium did. I would definitely recommend sizing down.

This next thought is going to realllllllllllllllly show my age, but here we go…

I’ve found that I now prefer to go out to eat in a pair of jeans over shorts. I don’t like my legs spreading out/sticking to the chair, and I just feel more confident in jeans now when sitting down. Does this make sense? Am I the only one?

Anyway, these jeans are going to be my GO TO all summer long!

And now for a couple of outfits I showed a couple of weeks ago…

I’m so excited about this neutral henley sweater. Now, the site shows it without a cami under it, but you can see here that it’s a very open weave so I will definitely be wearing a cami. I’m wearing a medium, and it’s a perfectly relaxed fit. I love it with these denim shorts, but you’ll see it styled a couple of different ways later in the post.

This block print top is such a unique color combination, and I love the mixed prints. It has a relaxed fit (can be worn tucked or out) and has a longer sleeve which y’all know I love. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. If you don’t have a large chest, I think you could probably size down.

And here are some NEW OUTFITS you’re seeing for the first time (even though you’ve seen all of the pieces styled different ways)…

I took the tops from above (that I first showed a couple of weeks ago), and I styled them with my favorite linen pull-on shorts from J Crew.

The linen pull-on shorts are obviously incredibly comfortable with a wide elastic waistband. They have 833 reviews with an average rating of 4.6 STARS. I grabbed them in a medium, but I’m exchanging them for a small. They were just a little too roomy for my liking, and I think the smalls are still going to be a relaxed fit (which I want). This is the “flax” color.

These shorts are on the same link, but they obviously have scallops, and I’m wearing these in a small and much prefer the fit. Sadly these are not on sale, but they sure are cute and I’ve been wearing the heck out of them.

This floral dress surprised me. When I ordered it, I clearly didn’t read the description because in my mind it was a crisp cotton. Imagine my surprise when I pulled it out of the box and realized it was denim. To be honest, I was super disappointed at first, BUT THEN I PUT IT ON. And even though it’s quite a bit different than I thought, I put it on and loved it! I’m wearing a medium here, but although you can’t really tell here in the picture, I definitely need a small. Also, it is definitely on the shorter side, so keep that in mind when ordering.

These Risen jeans are everything we know and love about the Risen brand. They are stretchy, flattering, and oh so comfy. This pair in particular has 256 reviews, and almost every single one of them is 5 STARS (a 4.71 average!). They are a fantastic pair of straight leg jeans with no distressing. Dress them up with wedges, dress them down with sneakers or flip flops, and find yourself wearing them on repeat. I’m telling you, this will become a GO TO pair of jeans for you. Because of the stretch, you can definitely size down in these jeans if between sizes. I’m wearing my regular size 27.

The sweatshirt is super soft and comfy, and the little crewneck that is peeking out from the neck and the hem really elevate this sweatshirt and will instantly help you look pulled together. I’m in a medium, and it’s a perfectly relaxed fit and roomy fit. A small would definitely fit, but I like the oversized look of the medium. If you don’t want it quite so oversized, size down. It has 53 reviews, and almost every single one of them is 5 STARS.

I couldn’t resist these springy jeans, but they sold out pretty dang fast and lots of y’all were bummed. Good news is that they’re now available in 2 popular sizes. They are a subtle barrel fit, and I love them. In fact, these are the only pair of barrel jeans I’ve ever tried that I actually like and don’t feel ridiculous in. 😉 The “poppy” color is so fun, and these jeans are going to be such a nice addition to my closet. They are stretchy, true to size (I’m wearing a 27), and totally on trend.
