I’m completely smitten with this ruffle cardi sweater. First, there’s just no denying that it is absolutely darling. I mean, look at the ruffled yoke and the pretty pointelle stitches along the sleeves! And check out the sweet ruffle at the sleeve’s hem too. It’s feminine and lovely. I like wearing it all buttoned up, but you could of course wear it unbuttoned with a tee under it as well. It also comes in a great charcoal grey. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium. Oh, and it’s very soft and not scratchy at all (even though it’s got a high wool content).
My crop bootcut jeans are STILL ON SALE! They are a very soft denim with great stretch, so they hug your curves in all the right places. Also, the denim is a good weight, so you will feel held in and supported. The seams on each side of the bottom of each leg are my favorite part. It’s such a nice detail, and they really modernize the whole look. For size reference, I’m wearing a 4.

I’ve always loved how a belt can totally pull an outfit together. A belt can truly make all the difference in the world on the style meter for a simple sweater and jeans outfit! This belt has excellent reviews, it comes in black too, and right now it’s under $38 (reg. $49).

I think these stripes are now sold out, but there are several solid color options that I’m loving as well like the “camel tan”, “pretty pink”, “modern red”, and “saratoga green”. And if you don’t have a basic black sweater that you love, this one would be a great option for you. It’s a medium weight with a banded hem at the bottom that can be worn tucked in or left out. This blazer is FABULOUS.
Everybody needs a classic black blazer that they love in their closet (I own this one and LOVE IT), but this brown herringbone one would be a nice addition too. It’s tailored with 1 button, tiny puff shoulders, and a rounded hem. I absolutely love the feminine fit. It’s girly and quite flattering. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

faded black jeans and belt on sale…
I grabbed these faded black jeans last year or maybe even the year before, and they are an absolute work horse in my closet. They added some needed dimension with both the color and the fit. They’re a heavier denim and have a bit more structure than most of my WW jeans, and I’m so excited to be wearing them again this fall. They’re good with booties, with flats, with mules, and with fashion sneakers. They hit at the ankle and have a frayed hem. For size reference, I’m wearing my regular size 4.

leopard barrel jeans on sale…
These leopard barrel jeans are a bit out of my comfort zone, but I’m going for it! I mean, I feel like I need to be pushed out of my comfort zone on occasion, and these are gonna be the pants to do it. I feel like a cool mom in them.
The reviews on these are awesome. They’ve got a cropped fit and kind of a subtle barrel fit, so I think they manage to still be flattering. Barrel jeans are so on trend, but even though I’ve tried several regular denim ones, I haven’t found any I liked on me (because I found all of them to add bulk). And come on, who in the world wants to add bulk? BUT THEN I TRIED THESE, and I can totally get on board.
They’ve got a little bit of stretch in them (which I pretty much require these days), so I’m wearing my regular size 4.
Other pros: they don’t seem to wrinkle and you’re going to get a ton of compliments when you wear these babies.

There’s a new moisturizer in town and y’all are going to FREAK THE FREAK OUT! Especially those of you that are about to start battling dry winter skin.
I’ve been using this for going on a couple of months now, and I’m absolutely HOOKED. This Moisture Veil Silk Emulsion is wayyyyyyyy more than “just” a moisturizer. It is nutrient rich (yay!) and will absolutely melt into your skin. It provides deep and lasting hydration that I think you will notice after the first use. The hydration absorbs more effectively, lasts longer, and fortifies the skin barrier. It glides on smoothly, and it isn’t heavy. It’s awesome.
In addition to dryness, it also tackles dullness.
I apply it all over my face, neck, and chest. Never forget your neck and chest ladies! When putting it on, I immediately noticed that it felt different than a regular moisturizer. It actually truly felt like it was going to be longer lasting and therefore more effective.
I’ve been putting it on in the morning (under SPF and makeup), and I’ve been applying it in the evening as the final step in my nighttime routine. It really makes a difference.
