Okay, ladies. I’m really excited about today’s outfit.
Love the boots, love the bag, love the wrap, love the jeans, love the sweater, love it all.
LOVE. IT. ALL.
It’s a big ol’ LOVE FEST over here today!
Sole Society reached out to me several weeks ago to see if I was interested in talking about some of their items in October or November. I have several Sole Society items that I love (you’ve seen me in these tall wedge boots in lots of my posts this fall!), and I’ve been a fan of the brand for several years now. They sent me a line sheet of items to check out for each month, and the minute I saw the boots I’m wearing today, I was DONE. I was all SIGN ME UP, Sole Society! The boots were on the October sheet, so I had to rearrange some posts to get the post done, but it was so worth it.
So, do you want to see what I’m making all the fuss about? Here’s a little peak….
Let’s start with these pleated fringe boots . BECAUSE DARLING. AND COMFY. And DARLING. #anddidimentiondarling #becausetheyaredarling
I mean, look at the little pleated fringe detail!!! The minute I saw these, I knew I had to have them. I found them to be true to size, and I think they look MUCH more expensive than they actually are!
Now, they are definitely going to be for ladies with smaller calves. The calf circumference is 13.75″ (I think a “regular” calf circumference is considered to be about 15″). I get lots of inquiries for both small calf circumference boots as well as for wide calf boots (I have an option for those of you with athletic calves before the post is over), so I was excited to find these for all of those that complain that regular boots never fit their small calves!
I think this picture is the most representative of their true color. You’ll see throughout the rest of the post that the lighting in the pictures definitely alters the color of the boots, and in some of the pictures they look more like a dark grey. But they’re not. They are definitely a dark taupe. This picture below and the picture on the site show a true representation of the color.
This picture also shows all of the details on the boots that I want you to notice: the pleated fringe detail on top (so cute!), the wood grain stacked heel (modern and fun!), and the elasticized panel on the back that makes for a snug fit. These are going to look great with dresses and leggings!
Here’s the rest of the outfit…
Remember, pay no attention to the color of the boots (or the bag)…because the bag is almost the same color of the boots. It’s crazy how lighting can cause the colors to be misrepresented.
I’m wearing the grey leopard wrap, and I’m so sorry to report that at this time it’s sold out. (However, if you click HERE you will see that to the left of the grey “out of stock” box, there is text that says “WAITLIST ME” written in red that you can click on and then fill in your e-mail address. This makes me hopeful that it might hopefully restock!) The brown leopard is still available, and it’s cute too.

I thought this outfit was a great example of how to wear white jeans in the fall and winter months. And these particular white jeans are stretchy and comfy. (I would suggest sizing down 1 size in these white jeans.) They are Articles of Society Carly jeans, after all! And I know that so many of you are loyal to this particular brand and style (because we all fell in love with the pajama jeans). If you don’t have a leopard wrap, a military jacket would also look great over this combo.

This shot shows the detail on the v neck of the sweater. It’s a nice little pleated details that adds some style to a regular ol’ grey sweater. I’m wearing a small in the sweater, so it’s true to size. Some have complained of the arms being snug, but it doesn’t bother me at all. This exact sweater also comes in black, blush, olive, and a dusty purple.
Also, if you’ve been following the blog for awhile now, you might remember this necklace. It’s not just my name, it’s my actual signature! Mine is the 16″ gold fill chain in the “antique gold” acrylic finish. (FYI, several years ago I ordered some other words on necklaces in different colors, and the “antique gold” is far and above my favorite. I felt like the bright colors looked cheap and too much like plastic.)
If you want your very own signature necklace, it’s easy! Email Bauble Bar a picture of your handwritten signature, and they will turn it into a necklace! For best results, please submit your signature written with thick marker. After you place your order, please submit your name (12 characters max), order number and handwritten signature (either a scan or a photo) to email@example.com.
This watch and bracelet combo has been my go to arm party all fall long because the turquoise in the bracelet gives most outfits a needed little pop of color. It comes in several other colors (and some drusy options), and I think this particular bracelet makes an excellent gift.
And here’s a great shot of the over sized tote.
I typically gravitate towards medium sized bags with structure, but something about this over sized slouchy bag made me love it! I think it’s a fun and interesting shape, and although I’m not typically concerned at all if my shoes and bag match (I most often prefer them not to match actually), this bag looks great with the boots. There aren’t any interior pockets, but there is a small pouch that comes with the purse for essentials that need to be reached easily.
And again, another shot of the boots that shows their true color. They look great with jeans, but I’m most excited to wear them with dresses (like this one that I know many of you purchased when I showed it a couple of weeks ago)! They would also look amazing with this butterfly floral shirtdress (50% OFF right now)! And they would be stunning with this rust colored crepe dress (that I have in black) that is UNDER $50!
Now, if you have a wider calf, and you want to get it on all of the boot fun, you might like THIS WEDGE BOOT. It’s very similar to the other wedge boot I’ve been wearing for awhile now (that have a calf circumference of 14 1/2), but this boot has a much wider calf circumference of 16″. This boot is a light taupe, whereas the boots seen above in this post are a dark taupe.
Sole Society also sent me the following scarf and earrings, and both are great as well! I took off the cape and switched it out for the scarf….and I switched out the tote for a smaller bag (that I love wearing as a cross body)! It’s the same base outfit with the grey sweater and the white jeans, but it’s obviously a totally different look.

Here are some more items I’m loving from Sole Society. They are absolutely killing it with their booties. Look at the ones with the tie! And those leopard flats with the bling have me swooning. If you want to see more about a particular bootie, just click on the one(s) you are interested in!
And look at the tall boot choices!
And some of their bags.
And you might not know this, but Sole Society has more than just boots and bags…they’ve got lots of cute clothes. They especially have a great selection of ponchos, cardis, and jackets…
Have a wonderful week, ladies! Thank you to Sole Society for sponsoring this post!
