WHAT DO I BUY FOR MY GUY?

I’m continuing to get messages about ideas for gifts for the guys, so I’ve got a quick little collage for y’all with items all from Amazon!

The soft-shell jacket is right at $40, has near perfect reviews, and looks super similar to Chris’s North Face jacket. The Jack Black gift set is a great way to start your man on a skincare routine. The moccasin slippers are under $30 and have thousands of 5 STAR reviews. The tire pressure gauge makes a great stocking stuffer, and a G Shock watch is always a fantastic gift idea. Carter and Chris both have a G Shock and wear them every single day. The hammock is actually what we got Carter last year. We take it to the ranch and we all love it. It’s a big hit!

Just make sure you check delivery days on whatever color and size you like before you order it, because some arrive by Christmas and some don’t.

I can’t remember if I got this slim wallet for Chris for Christmas, for his birthday, or for Father’s Day… but he absolutely LOVES it. He says it’s a great slim size, but it still holds everything he needs. He was so tired of his big wallet, and this was the perfect answer. The other side is a peek-a-boo window where he keeps his license.

WHAT I’M WEARING

I’ve got several outfits for you today. Some with old pieces, some with new pieces! And several items are ON SALE!

You saw this sweater with my must have boot cut jeans last week, and I think it looks great with these chocolate brown cords too. The cords I’m wearing are low in stock, but you can find some similar straight leg cords (from the same maker) HERE.

I know there are tons of people out there that prefer a v-neck sweater to a crewneck sweater, so here’s an option for you! This one comes in 5 colors and is NOW ON SALE, making it just under $45. It’s a bit boxy, but I happen to like boxy. I can’t do a half-tuck with this sweater (and y’all know I love a half-tuck), but this one hits me at the perfect spot to be worn out. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

This collarless crop jacket is both classic and modern. It’s a nice alternative to a cardigan with cropped styling (but it’s not too short). It’s got an open front with exposed seams and oversized patch pockets. I’m wearing the “candy yam”, but it also comes in black, graphite, and ivory. For size reference, I’m wearing a small.

I’ve now shown you this sweater COUNTLESS times, but it is truly the definition of a perfect closet basic. AND GREAT NEWS! There are several colors that are still 40% OFF.

It’s super soft, it’s not itchy at all, it’s lightweight, and it has what I think is a perfect relaxed fit. It doesn’t hug your body at all, and it just drapes really nicely. It’s a little bit longer in the back than in the front, and it does have a loose band on the bottom, so you can wear it out or with a half-tuck and it looks great both ways (but y’all know I almost always go for the half-tuck).

I would definitely suggest sizing down in this sweater. I’m almost always a medium in sweaters, and I’m wearing a small in this sweater. Even in the small, I still consider it quite roomy.

You saw this sweater with my faded black jeans last week, but I love the blush with the brown too.

This 1/2 zip sweater has an exaggerated collar, a relaxed fit, and a ribbed texture. It’s also very soft. I love the blush, but it also comes in grey, navy, and ivory. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium, but I think a small would be a better fit. I think I’ll wear this most often with ankle jeans and sneakers.

I’m not exactly sure what it is about this striped crewneck sweater, but I think it’s DARLING. The colors are oatmeal and charcoal, and I love the classic cable knit look with the lattice pattern on top. Pair with some black trousers for the office or wear it running errands with ankle jeans and sneakers. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

SWEATER NEW TO SALE!

This striped crewneck sweater is lightweight, but still cozy. It has diamond stitching across the chest and shoulders, which elevates it from just a regular crewneck sweater. And you know I love the stripes. It also comes in grey, black, blue, and ivory. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

I love these jeans so much. They are truly FABULOUS. They feature a higher mid-rise waist, a classic button/zip fly, and a five-pocket styling complete with a kick-flare silhouette and a raw-edge hem. They are super soft, have great stretch, and are very flattering. Since they have a raw hem, you can easily customize them if you need them shorter. If between sizes, I would size down.

These washed black Wit and Wisdom jeans have added some much needed dimension to my closet. They’re a heavier denim and have a bit more structure than most of my WW jeans, and I’m so excited to have them. They’re good with booties, with flats, with mules, and with fashion sneakers. They hit at the ankle and they have a frayed hem. True to size for me, I’m wearing the 4.

This cardi has a boxy fit and whip stitching in a contrasting cream color. You can of course wear it over a tee or tank, but I really like it worn by itself too. For size reference, I’m wearing a medium.

WHAT WE ARE EATING 

Y’all. NOTHING NEW TO REPORT HERE. To be very honest, I’m sick of eating. Do you ever get that way? Like I’m just done. Haha!

Oh wait! I forgot I took this picture a couple of weeks ago. I combine several items from Trader Joe’s, and I get a stir fry that I eat off of for like 4 meals. I combine these Asian Style Veggies (with stir fry sauce), with edamame, 1 package of shrimp, and Trader Joe’s frozen Jasmine rice. DELISH. My guys don’t like this kind of meal, but I love it.

WHAT I’M WATCHING

So I’m sure most of y’all know that the series finale of Yellowstone was on Sunday night. I LOVED the show, but I have to say I didn’t love the last episode. Still, I’m super sad the series is over.

I binged No Good Deed over the weekend and really really loved it. I think it’s only 6 or s0 episodes, so it’s an easy one to knock out over a slow weekend.

WHAT ARE MY RECENT AMAZON PURCHASES

Most of my Amazon purchases lately revolve around gifts. I got the root cover up and the cardi for me, but the Philippians 4:13 bracelets are for Carter and the jeans are Chris’s favorites. I went ahead and grabbed him 2 new pairs.
