Vacation Ready!

For the last several weeks we have been doing a lot of talking about transitioning our wardrobes over for Spring.  I’ve highlighted lots of shoes and clothes to help get us all ready for warmer temps, and today I have a fun post planned working with Vince Camuto to talk about some sandals, a tote bag, and even some swimsuits!  These pieces will have you vacation ready and all set to be laying pool side with a cocktail.

If you’re like me, you are familiar with the Vince Camuto brand because some of their bags and shoes are carried at lots of major department stores.  I have two pairs of Vince Camuto booties from the last several years that are what initially made me a huge fan of the brand, because they are both cute and incredibly comfy!  And during my brand ambassadorship with Vince Camuto this year, I’ve added several wedges, sandals, and bags to my collection.  Today I’m excited to share two new pairs of sandals, a tote bag, and 2 swimsuits!

Swimsuit Outfit #1

I’ve told you before how I’m a 1 piece or tankini swimsuit girl.  WELL.  Tell me you don’t want to be a 1 piece girl too after seeing this next picture.  I love the delicate little flutter sleeves and the simple black and white stripes.  It’s a very pretty silhouette, and it’s very flattering.  Now, I will say, this is much more of a LAY AROUND LOOKING FABULOUS swimsuit than it is a hop in the pool and play Marco Polo with your kids swimsuit.  The bodice is very comfy and it has lined cups and a detachable halter strap, but the sleeves are a tiny bit constricting.  STILL.  If you have a romantic vacation planned this summer where you want to lay around and look fabulous…this might be your suit.  😉

Swimsuit Outfit #2

Or if you want more color in your swimsuit, look at this option!  Again, when you think of yourself in this suit, you need to be sipping something poolside with a little umbrella.  It’s a gorgeous suit, but it’s also much better suited to a relaxing or romantic vacation rather than a cannonball contest with the neighborhood kids. 😉  It also has removable soft cups and a halter strap.

And because I was feeling extra brave (and because I had just received a spray tan) ;), I thought I would show you this suit on!  LOOK HOW CUTE IT IS!  And if I’ve told you once, I’ve told you a thousand times, you need these denim shorts.  I wore them all last year, and I’ve already worn them on every warm weather day this year.  Comfy, flattering, and true to size.  The cuffs are tacked up on each side, which helps the cuffs stay put.

Casual Outfit #1

In addition to wearing the sandals and totes with swimsuits, they obviously also look great with actual outfits. With just a plain tee and regular denim shorts, the accessories (including the bag and shoes) become the star.  And I hope you are starting to believe that these shorts are necessary for your summer.   (You can click HERE to see the tote and the shorts styled with another more colorful tee!)  These sandals are true to size, I sized up to a medium in the tee, and I’m wearing my regular 27 in the shorts.

I’m absolutely in love with the corded tote, and I look forward to carrying it a lot this Spring and Summer.  The leather straps and accents are a very light taupe color, and the corded tote portion is a creamy white and black. The pom pom tassel comes with the bag and really kicks up the fun factor.

And look at the blingy slides!  I was partial to the black, but they also come in white, black, and rose gold!  True to size, but size up a 1/2 if between sizes.

Casual Outfit #2

I thought the tote and the neutral sandals were a no-brainer to pair with this olive green dress.  The dress is lined, only $54, and would be perfect for vacation.  I’m wearing my typical small.  If between sizes, I would suggest sizing down.

And when wearing this one shoulder number or anything one shoulder, strapless, or off the shoulder…you definitely need to be wearing the must have strapless bra.  It’s comfy, it’s stays put (you won’t be tugging on it), and it’s so comfy you might even wear it when you don’t even have to wear a strapless!  I know it’s hard to believe, but it’s true.

The tote is a great size and is very sturdy.  The online description says it has an interior zipper pocket and 2 additional pockets, but mine doesn’t.  Still, I love it!  It’s roomy enough to hold a wallet, a make up bag, a bottle or two of water, and other various items.

The studded sandals have a pretty scalloped shape and nice stud embellishments.  I knew the neutral would go with so many different outfits in my closet, but they also come in turquoise, hot pink, and royal blue!  These sandals are also true to size.  If between sizes, size up a 1/2.  They are comfy, easy to walk in, and totally on trend with the studs!
