I’m working with Vince Camuto today and highlighting some of their new Spring items! I don’t know about y’all, but I am ready for Spring to BRING IT! This month’s featured items include a striped tote, some heeled peep toe sandals, and a casual pair of slides that I’m loving.
I planned some outfits on Friday’s post, and today I’m going to show you those outfits on me!

And here’s the outfit on me! This outfit is casual, comfy, and totally me. I have no doubt this one is going to be on repeat all Spring and Summer long. The sandals are true to size, and I sized up to a medium in the tee so it wouldn’t be fitted at all. And great news, the necklace code was extended! Use the code azul20 for 20% OFF the necklace!

Let’s get a close up of the slides. Look how many color options there are! It’s a flatform espadrille with crisscross straps in leather or a summery striped canvas. #LOVE
I had several messages over the weekend asking me if these were comfy, but since it’s been FREEZING here, I’ve only worn them to take pictures. They were definitely comfy when I put them on to grab pics (there are some shoes that you immediately know aren’t comfy the moment you slide them on your feet), but I can’t yet comment on long term comfort. I will obviously comment on their comfy status once I’ve worn them for extended periods of time!
And a close up of the tote as well! The site describes it as “beach to brunch”, and I think that’s a perfect description. All three options are designed with a leather handle, awning stripes, and fun fringe trim! The tote has one really large zippered pocket on the inside and 2 other open interior pockets. There’s also two exterior pockets on each side of the tote.

I feel like the tote was made to pair with chambray, so I had to make sure that happened.

And I loved it all together! I added the pink necklace to show you that you don’t need to stick with only the colors in the tote for the outfit to work. I think the pop of pink made it fun!
This is a great base outfit (the white jeans with the chambray top) that can be styled in so many different ways! I got the jeans last year after looking for a great pair of white jeans for a couple of months. These are great because they are stretchy, comfy, and NOT SEE THROUGH!
I sized up to a medium in the shirt (but I often wear a medium in button ups, so maybe I should say it’s true to size). I’m wearing a 27 in the jeans, which is true to size for me. If between sizes, I would suggest sizing down. The peep toe booties are true to size.

These booties are great with jeans, but they will also be great with spring dresses! They have tiny little perforations and cute little cut outs that are a bit unexpected. And I’m a big fan of the block heel. Again, I can’t comment yet on long term comfort, but I didn’t have any complaints in the short time I was wearing them.

If you’ve been reading this blog for any amount of time, you probably figured I would be pulling out my denim jacket for one of these outfits. You figured right.

And here it is on me!
I’m wearing the same grey tee and turquoise necklace (remember azul20 will get you 20% OFF!) that I did with the army green cargo pants above, but I added the jacket and switched out the green pants for white jeans!
This outfit would be cute for just running around town, but it’s also cute enough for a casual date night!
For size reference, I’m wearing a medium in the jacket.

Now that we’ve gotten the “business” part of today’s post complete (I had a deadline I had to meet for this sponsored post), I couldn’t let the day go by without spending some time honoring my friend Manda. It was a year ago that she left her earthly home and went to be with her Savior.
This is one of my absolutely favorite pictures of her. When she received her second diagnosis as an adult, our friend Narci met her family to do a photo shoot with them before she started treatment again, and our little friend group surprised her at the end of the session by showing up for friend pics too. We wanted her to know that we were going to be there for them, that we would take care of all of the little things we could, and that she could concentrate on her family and getting better.
In the picture, I love how her head is thrown back and she is laughing. I have no doubt that one of the group had said something wildly inappropriate just to get her to laugh. 😉
Here is what Manda would want everybody to be sure of today: Because she lived with Jesus in her heart, she is now rejoicing with Him for all of eternity. Manda kept her eyes fixed on Jesus during her battle, and I know that her testimony brought countless others to Jesus. And now she is with Him.
If you are experiencing struggle in your life, and/or if you desire to know more about Jesus and what a relationship with Him looks like, I encourage you to watch Manda’s service. You can also watch Manda herself talk about her faith. In October of 2015, Manda and her mom gave a talk at our church. Hearing them talk about their faith….even in the midst of unimaginable trials (as far back as when Manda was 5 and first diagnosed with cancer) was inspiring and POWERFUL. I think hearing their words will change you. They definitely changed me. Click HERE for the Coffee House talk. I promise that it will bless you.
All of us here on earth miss Manda so much, but it brings us an immeasurable peace that we know where she is, and we know that we will one day see her again. A high school friend posted this picture on facebook a couple of weeks ago, and it took my breath away. I immediately sent it to Cindy (Manda’s mom) and said, Don’t you know this is what it looked like when Manda met Jesus?
So today, all of us that loved Manda are going to miss her a little extra and we will be thinking of the wonderful memories we have with her, but we know that she is healed and whole, and for that we are so grateful. My friend Andrea made a wonderful video for Manda’s service last year. It gives such a sweet glimpse into Manda’s heart with her own voice and both pictures and video clips. Click HERE and scroll to the bottom if you would like to see it.
Love you and miss you, sweet Manda.

This picture was actually painted for the family of another young woman that recently passed away due to cancer 🙂

The picture at the end took my breath away and left me in tears. I have a dear relative who is very near her time to go and I want to think of it happening EXACTLY like the picture.
Thank you Sheaffer for that very powerful image. I want it to stay with me all of my days.
Blessings to you sweet lady!

So sorry to hear about your lovely friend Manda. I am new to your blog and sad to hear you’ve lost a dear friend. It feels strange now commenting about the clothing but you have made some really lovely wearable, stylish combos here – love the fitted pieces with looser tops and also that you mix take things like the fitted cargo pants and make the outfit on trend and feminine. LOVE the necklaces. Will be reading more for your style tips alone – right up my street! Joanne – Europafox x

Oh my goodness. That last picture gave me chills and happy tears. I had just started getting to know Manda when the bottom started to fall out. But her testimony and her faith changed me as well. xo
