It’s been several years now that I’ve been shopping on Amazon for fashion picks, and although I’d purchased home items in years prior and liked them, THIS YEAR my Amazon Home purchases really knocked my socks off. This year both my sister and I found ourselves super pleased with some really fabulous home finds.
Here are y’alls top picks! And no surprise here, they were some of our top picks as well!
1) antelope pillow covers / 2) olive branches / 3) kitchen towels / 4) white forsythia wreath / 5) jewelry box / 6) towel set / 7) hand towel set / 8) electric candle lighter / 9) wooden bowl / 10) sheet set / 11) silk pillowcase / 12) textured lamp / 13) earring holder / 14) faux olive tree / 15) acrylic shelf dividers / 16) hangers / 17) animal print throw / 18) basket / 19) round rattan tray / 20) decorative rope balls / 21) canvas print wall art
Some of the items in the collage above were just items I found and highlighted for y’all, even though I didn’t buy them myself. For example, I highlighted the jewelry box (#5) because I thought it was very similar to my much more expensive Kendra Scott jewelry box. Well, y’all bought the Amazon version and LOVED IT! I received tons of messages from you guys about how fabulous it is.
The majority of the items above are items that either I purchased or my sister purchased. So….without further ado…here are collage items highlighted in our own homes…
CONNER’S AMAZON HOME FINDS
This forsythia wreath was such a great score for my sister! I love that she stuck with the white scheme when choosing the wreat for her front door.
Look how pretty it is!
And if you want a little more color, remember my wreath that’s also from Amazon.
This is Conner’s new dining room! And the olive tree and seagrass basket are both from Amazon. Conner loves the tree, and there are lots of great reviews on Amazon. Great faux plants are hard to find, but this one is a winner! And the tree is ON SALE right now.
faux olive tree / basket / window treatments (grey pattern) / rug / paxton light fixtures
Conner did a master bedroom refresh with items almost exclusively from Amazon! LOOK HOW PRETTY! (Click HERE if you want to see the BEFORE pics so you can see how much better it looks now.)
Conner’s words are in italics.
To brighten things up without breaking the bank (and without having to buy new furniture), I decided to go lighter with the bedding. I’m thrilled with how it turned out!
I decided to start with a duvet cover and go from there. (Conner is using a duvet insert she already had, but you can click HERE for one that is super affordable and has over 70,000 5 star reviews!)
This particular duvet cover has gorgeous embroidery around the edges and looks WAY more expensive than it is. The king size pillow shams came with the duvet, but I decided to order the Euro shams to add height (they come in single packages, so I ordered 3).
I knew I wanted to add taupe accents and I found this ADORABLE pom pom quilt and king pillow shams which are dupes of the well-known Ballard Designs pom pom quilted bedding for a fraction of the cost. SCORE.
Conner, I can’t get over how plush and cozy it all looks!

Check out these gorgeous canvas prints above the bed. If you know me, you know I don’t like a lot of stuff on the walls, but the wall above our bed definitely needed some love. I was slightly surprised when these prints arrived because the color is so much lighter than in the stock photo on Amazon, but I am SO happy with them. They helped take our dreary bedroom to the next level. And just like we did in the guest bedroom, I bought two in the same print and just hung one of them upside down.
These are the 24×36, and the exact ones are officially called “Ab05-2205-m01”. Conner went with the natural frames.

And then I came across these gorgeous antelope pillow covers. YOU GUYS. I LOVE THEM. These are another Ballard design dupe (click HERE to see the Ballard covers that are much more expensive). I can’t even believe how pretty these are!
The pillow covers are 20×20 and I used my old pillow inserts from HomeGoods. I highly recommend purchasing pillow inserts one size larger than the covers to achieve a fuller look (my inserts are 22×22). You can find some highly rated 22×22 inserts HERE (all sizes available).

BEAUTIFUL!

I just love all of the textures and details.

I hope y’all love these changes as much as we do. I can hardly wait for another Amazon home project!
Conner, I cannot get over this refresh! It’s truly a different room! So light, bright, and welcoming! WELL DONE, sister!
Several weeks after the initial redo, I added drapes to our guest bedroom and primary bedroom. I ordered the same drapes for both rooms and I’m so glad I did – they’re gorgeous! They’re 100% linen and I ordered the “crisp white”. The drapes are lined to help with light control and are backed by an off-white fabric. They have excellent reviews, and they are ON SALE right now!
I chose to hang with rings, but they can be hung on a rod using the pocket or with back tabs. The quality of the Amazon drapes is SO much better than my drapes from Ballard Designs that cost twice as much! I have always struggled with curtain hardware (mainly because I am not a fan of finials) and recently discovered French return rods. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. I love the fact that it allows the curtains to return to the wall which limits light. I ordered black hardware for the master bedroom and brass hardware for the guest bedroom.

I also hung these floating wood gallery frames in our master bedroom. I love the simplicity of the frames and the fact that you can choose the photo size. These frames are the 21×25 in black. They’re super lightweight and our handyman said they were extremely easy to hang. I loved them so much that I ordered six in white (18×18) to use for vintage sports prints in Bennett’s bedroom.
If you don’t want to splurge at Pottery Barn, you can find SUPER similar frames from Amazon in 11 x 14 HERE and 16 x 20 HERE.
She also grabbed these towels for her master bedroom. They have excellent reviews and she loves them.

MY AMAZON HOME FINDS
I didn’t do any complete room makeovers, but I did find some things on Amazon that I ended up LOVING to help refresh some spaces in my own home.
These olive branches give great height and color to my sofa table, and you can find a similar glass jug vase HERE.
candle / similar brass tray / similar small brass planter / blue and cream throw / basket
I grabbed this lamp from Amazon and we love it! It’s a perfect neutral, and the texture on the jug base is awesome. The pictures and frames used to be on the table behind the sofa, but I like them here better. (I attached that tray to the wall with command strips.)
Here are another couple new accessories I found on Amazon!
This wood bowl is so pretty and unique. It comes in 3 sizes, but mine is the small which is 8″-10″. Each bowl is hand-carved by skilled artisans, so no two are exactly alike as in nature, color, or shape and the measurements may vary a bit. I think this is such a great find!
These rustic rope balls come in a set of 8, and all 8 fit nicely in the bowl. I like the different patterns and textures and really love the addition of both the bowl and the balls to the room.
I also found some great items for my closet…
If you have open shelving in your closet, I highly recommend these clear dividers. They help me keep things (like my jeans, joggers, and leggings) in neat and tidy stacks.
As you can see, the shelving at the far end of the closet is for tons of shoes, as well as some more clutch storage on the top shelf. I have one more valet rod coming out where you can see a couple of my cross body bags hanging, and you can also see that I have small double hooks on each side of the shoe shelves where I hang various items. Just like I wish I had more valet rods, I also wish I had more hooks. The California Closet designer was right, but I didn’t believe her. You can NEVER have enough rods or hooks. #ishouldhavelistenedtoher
Notice how all of my Barrington totes are hung on S hooks. And yes, I know I have an alarming number of Barrington totes, but I worked with them for years and amassed quite the collection because they would send me a new pattern for each new season!
These S hooks makes storing the totes so easy.
Let’s talk hangers.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND changing ALL of your hangers over to these velvet covered hangers. They grip your clothes (so they don’t slip off), and they have an extremely narrow profile, so they take up way less space than a traditional plastic hanger. Plus, they just look nice!
If you’re going to purchase one thing today to help you get your closet into shape, it needs to be these hangers. I’m telling you, they will transform your closet and give you sooooooooooo much more room. Once you try these hangers, no other hangers will do. If you’re not sure, start out with just 1 pack and try them out. I promise you that you will order more immediately.
Inspired by items I have in my own closet, I put together a collage with lots of great jewelry organization items from Amazon! All of these items are totally affordable, and they are all super functional too. If you don’t have space in your closet for these items, maybe you have a spot on your bathroom vanity or on top of a dresser somewhere!
one / two / three / four / five / six / seven / eight / nine (other options HERE) / ten / eleven / twelve
This is the the earring holder I got for my mom (#3 in the collage above). She absolutely LOVES it and now wonders what in the heck she ever did before having it. It holds 50 pairs of earrings, y’all! She doesn’t have a place for it in her closet, so she keeps it on her bathroom counter.

HOW TO SHOP AMAZON HOME
Honest question, did you have any idea that Amazon had so many amazing home items?
Just for fun, I thought I would share that I’ve recently found a couple of new ways to shop Amazon home. Conner and I have always found it difficult to search and find items on Amazon, so I flipped when I found that you can click HERE to SHOP AMAZON BY STYLE. It’s so much more user friendly now!
And then just last night, I found a landing page where you can also shop by room or category HERE. AWESOME!

That’s all for today, y’all! I’m telling you, once you start shopping Amazon home, you won’t stop. Do you have any favorite Amazon home items that you’ve purchased? If you do, drop them in the comments section! I love seeing finds from others! It’s y’alls turn to tell ME to.

What is the wall color in the bedroom?
Sheaffer says
Hi, Tricia! I asked Conner and it’s Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter! xoxo

My kids got me the earring organizer for Mother’s Day and I love it. That’s about the only home purchase that’s been made from Amazon. To make dusting easier, I don’t like a lot of things on table tops :-). Connor’s space looks so warm and inviting.
Sheaffer says
Thank you, Sandi! Hope you love the earring organizer! xoxo
Susan F. says
I love shopping on Amazon especially for home decor! You and Connor find some great pieces. Where did you get your picture frames? I can never find tabletop picture frames I like that are unique!
Sheaffer says
Hi, Susan! Thank you! They are from all over and are probably 10 years old. I think I got them from Tuesday Morning and HomeGoods. xoxo
Sarah @Foxy’s Domestic Side says
In your vase. Did you put actually water on there to make them look more real? Love all the home finds!
Sheaffer says
I didn’t, but it’s a good idea!
MaryInMaryland says
The “silk” pillowcase (#11 in the photo collage) is “vegan” silk, meaning it is not silk at all, but satin-textured synthetic, alas.
Shay Shull says
I forget to shop Amazon for home items…and why?! It’s all so GOOD!
