Actually, it’s about SUMMER and a GIVEAWAY.

My necklace is magenta, and it adds a great punch of color to so many of my outfits!

I’ve only had this necklace for about a month now, but OH MY WORD have I worn the
heck out of it.
The first time I wore it I paired it with stripes, white denim shorts, and my denim jacket.

They are the PERFECT earring for summer.

But my favorite have to be the Kate Spade option.
I like how they are bigger than my Stella and Dot pair, and there are so many colors to choose from!

And I can guarantee I will have them on at the pool ALL. SUMMER. LONG.
They look great with my hair in a pony tail, but they even show up when I wear my hair down.

My 3rd Summer Style Staple thus far? 
They’re not flashy, but they are a work horse in my closet right now.
I promise that you need some.  And once you have them, you will wonder how you EVER lived without them.

 My 4th Summer Style Staple is something that I’ve only used 1 time so far when we headed to the lake on Memorial Day weekend, but I will be using it at
least 4 days per week this summer.
Because you won’t believe the plans I have with my friends and all of their kids this summer.
But know this….we already have a pool rotation schedule in place and I’m SO excited.
Anyway,  the sweet girls over at Hayden Reis sent me THIS huge beach bag, as well as the following accessories:

This
water-resistant pouch is quite the multi-tasker. It keeps wet clothes
away from dry clothes and the generous size is perfect for keeping
magazines, tablets, and other large items dry and protected.

The Hayden  Reis items are more expensive than what you would pick up at Target,
BUT THEY ARE SOOOOOOOOOOOOO WORTH IT.
Their products are made out of sail cloth and they are nothing short of amazing.
Cute, yes…but INCREDIBLY functional!
(And yes, those are a couple of Hayden Reis products in the giveaway above!)
I should have done a better job of taking pictures of the inside of the bag because you wouldn’t believe the room and the pockets.
For our day on the lake, the bag held 3 rolled up towels, a hoodie, lots of beach toys, sunscreen, several bottled waters, a kid’s size life jacket, and snacks….
AND THERE WAS STILL ROOM.
We were all set for a FULL DAY at the beach IN JUST ONE BAG.
I had no idea I could love a beach bag like this.

If you are going to the beach this summer, I would say these products are
 TOTALLY worth the investment.
The sail cloth the products are made of is both sand and water resistant.
Even if you are just going to the pool, it’s still going to be worth it.
I love how this little clip on the inside secured all of my bags and all of the pockets all around the interior kept everything so organized!  I loved not having to search for things all day long!
Everything was organized and at my fingertips.

And I don’t know if these next two items are going to be Summer Style Staples for me or not, but I ordered them online on Friday and I have high hopes!

This post was already set to “publish”, but while working on another post for later, I found THIS.
And I’m dying.
It has pom poms.  And I heart pom poms.
I think it would be cute with skinny jeans or cuffed jeans, DARLING with white jeans,
and to be honest….
I’m hoping I can wear it as a dress!  I’m almost 5’4″, so I can sometimes pull that off!
I LOVE IT SO MUCH.

      Hi Danielle! When large giveaways like this are done, enabling blog comments is often times just too much due to the fact that getting thousands of blog comments is so hard to manage. Again, I really am so sorry. I know it must be frustrating to not have the ability to enter.

    Great giveaway but I really never enter giveaways that try and manipulate you to follow ALL THE PEOPLE. My feeds everywhere got so clogged up after a couple of giveaways I had to just give it away (ha, pardon the pun!). By the way, I am just saying this to give some feedback, not because it makes me cranky and I figure there must be other people who feel the same. 🙂

      Hi Catherine! I'm sorry that you feel manipulated, that is not my intention at all. I get giveaway offers every week, but I try to pick and choose only the great ones. Growing a blog is hard, and giveaways are one of the ways that bloggers can use to try to get their names out there to people that have not been exposed to their blogs yet. Often times if I enter a group giveaway, I only choose to enter with the people through the channels that I'm already reading and following.

    The kate spade earrings…greatest thing ever, I have the pink yellow and green and let me just tell you I wear these almost every single day. I mean how perfect! As for the pool….do you think they are safe to wear swimming???

    Hi Sheaffer! I live in Canada and I have been wanting your gorgeous-must-have-necklace for a long time…but the shipping was expensive so I couldn't justify it! Today with your code I was able to get it, all in, for just under $100!!! And that was my limit (I have to set some limits for myself!!!!!!). Yahooo!!! It is on its way now! Thank you for your tips!     I was at Nordstrom last night returning my Jessica Simpson Federlee shoes that wouldn't fit (I am super sad, they were so cute!) and I bought the Kate Spade studs in Pink/Gold. They are on sale for $28.50 right now!
